>not using tumours to add mass

Associated != causal
Suggested mechanism != proven
How to prevent NOCs: eat Chlorophyll (green veggies) with your meat
You don't deserve a (You)

>disregarding medical research because he thinks he's smart for pointing out correlation isn't causation

nope, just being smart enough to understand the need for epistemic modality in science.
but leave it to sensationalizing journalists and fearmongers to disregard scientists talking about possibilities and depict them as facts.

Are tofu and Fakin Bacon carcinogenic if cooked over an open flame?

>picks study that he likes
>posts it without explaining anything
>does not give a review of the literature
>does not give any numbers so people are able to compare red meat to other dietary carcinogens (like coffee)
Quality post, user. Quality post.

People like you are exactly the kind of people that absolutely humiliate themselves as students in journal clubs.

Jokes on YOU, my man. I don't know what 'carcinogenic' means and thus will continue eating meat.

pure sophistry.

Don't believe everything you read online.

Cooked red meat, yes, but this applies to all seared foods. Also, growth of H. Pylori is associated with high carbohydrate intake.

Ok, I am trying to explain it to you again.

You need to give context if you want to be taken seriously or you will look like the idiot that you are.

I am not saying your argument is right or wrong. I am saying that you present your case in such a shitty way, that we have no clue if red meat increases cancer risk or if it does not.

Being alive is associated with cancer you miserable fuck. I get it, you want to feel superior because you don't eat red meat. There are so many factors that go into developing different cancers it's really not worth getting all worked up about what you are eating because it might reduce your cancer "risk" by some percentage that may just mean your cancer risk has gone down by 10% from 1.1% to 1%. I'll give you some solid science backed advice: if you really want to reduce your risk of cancer then kill yourself and worry no more

kek take it easy big boi

>I don’t have anything to say, better tell him to take a chill pill!

Friendly reminder stepping out in the sun is carcinogenic
Friendly reminder cooking on a Teflon pan is carcinogenic
Friendly reminder plastic is carcinogenic
Friendly reminder milk is carcinogenic

>Cancer cells like every other normal cell live off food
>"Food is carcinogenic it makes cancer cells grow!!"

the overwhelming evidence is that it does

The world health organisation will probs move it up to a class 1 carcinogen soon.

until then feel free to increase your cancer risk for no benefit

100% true though, one of the simplest and best cancer preventatives is restriction of feeding time and lowering number of insulin spikes.

You absolute brainlet still don't get it. You need to FORMULATE your argument.
1. Give evidence
2. Explain evidence
3. Put evidence into context

Just look at your post now.

>the overwhelming evidence...
Then just fucking show the overwhelming evidence and put it into context. And don't give me that "google it for yourself" crap. You made a claim, you need to prove it.

>The world health organisation will probs move it up to a class 1 carcinogen soon.
Again. No argument. All you are doing with your posts is convincing more people to eat red meat.

lol no, I'm not gonna write up a literature review for a Veeky Forums post mate

So is the air we breathe and the water we drink.

I suggest you go stop doing either and die. One less vegan natzi.

No one places any real weight in the WHO when it comes to most issues anymore.
Not after they were blown out by basically every first world country on the planet when it came to their stance on circumcision.

Don't care I drink 8+ beers everyday and do coke every weekend, I'm not worried about red meat m8

>Meat will kill you
Another reason to eat it.

You can make a well thought out post without having to do a literature review.

Everyone gets cancer user.
Even the vegans.
Espescialy the vegans who eat GMO foods.

But there are two kinds of cancer.
The cancers that you die from and the cancer you die with.
And basically everyone will have the latter.
Also, our bodies do fight off and destroy small cancers all of the time.

>can
>suggests
>maybe
>trigger indices not actual cancer

great results you got there mate

does veganism give brain damage or why are the post and especially the comment always so retarded?
