If you are a company that does not interact with anyone else, then sure, there is no benefit. But if you are a company that produces stuff and has many suppliers for your parts, you have shipping for your products which are handled by other companies and lastly there are retaileres then it would be cool if you could scan a product to see where it was, who actually made all the parts, make sure that the parts used are legitimate etc. There are many use cases why having this that on blockchain could be benificial
