ITT we complain about Krakens miserable performance that makes it literally impossible to trade fast

>that makes it literally impossible to trade
Fixed that for you my man

What alternatives do frenchfags have for withdrawing to EURO account? CoinBase doesn't recognize France as a country

Even if kraken worked well it would still be shitty exchange. I only use it to transfer EUR and buy shit, but immediately transfer to elsewhere.

I can't even log in. Changed password so I know it's correct but it says invalid login.

Top kek
Well done

Kraken is ok to move fiat in and out. Just buy some litecoins there and move them to other exchanges. But don't try to actually trade on Kraken

I would never do that, I use trex for trading, but mostly I hold on Kraken.

But even withdrawing fiat from Kraken seems to be awful, I don't trust them.

I'm still looking for another exchange that can withdraw fiat to french accounts

French here, nothing wrong with Kraken except the 502 and 504 errors. And afaik it's their DDOS protection causing this much trouble
Just don't use it for day trading, just as a way to exit or enter in € with SEPA withdrawals.

pic very related. The withdrawal fee was 0.09€ and it took 8 hours to be credited on my account

Don't hold on an exchange, even if it's based in EU.
Enable 2FA with google authenticator, not SMS

Coinbase just went massively up in my estimation.

All agreed with, my withdraws take maybe 24 hours, but I can live with that.

Also use 2fa, not sms.
Why never hold on exchange? What do you hold on?

You hold only on a personal wallet.
Best if it's a physical wallet like a Nano S.
I know it can become very difficult for daytraders with a lot of shitcoins but fuck them.
Kraken or Ttrex are not immune to a MtGox or a Parity Wallet scenario. There had been many warnings already so nobody should hold more than a few days on an exchange if he doesn't plan to actively trade

Right, well as soon as I hit 4k euro, I'm taking 3 out then moving to trex for trading.

Thanks for the tip on the wallet, do you then pay transaction fee for each transfer to/from wallet?

Kraken is by far the best exchange for withdrawing fiat for us eurocucks. If I withdraw in the morning it's on my bank account in the afternoon same day. I've withdrawn like 30k € this year alone and no issues at all.

FUCK THEIR FUCKING TRADING ENGINE THOUGH REEEEEEEEEEEE

Are you french?

What taxes are we "supposed" to pay on crypto gains?

Nah, scandinavia. Shouldn't be too different from here though, you probably have to pay the same capital gains tax you would do for stocks.

There is a thread on bitcointalk.org in the french section about taxes. afaik it's progressive with the total amount.
I think it ends up being 41% for "revenus exceptionels" like if you won gambling or at the casino. It can be less if you register as a professional
You can also cash out to a BTC atm for 4-8% and you don't have to give your name

i have to click buy 20 times for it to execute the order, and usually takes up to 1 minute to close my market order.
fuck kraken. piece of shit.

Taxation is theft bro.

Kraken is shit i went full on bitstamp

seems that fees are lower on kraken though

wtf with kraken post everyday lately?
they promised upgrades in early december
just fucking wait 2 weeks or so
