Greetings, people of Veeky Forums. In the interest of, at the least, extending the unfinished piece of legendary Veeky Forums 'writefaggotry' (that is to say, a bundle of sticks with books in it) known as Love Can Bloom, I have taken upon myself, with encouraging lack of opposition from the Emperor, the task of continuing the story.
I decided that the people of Veeky Forums deserved a suitable end for the story, preferably one which -Explains Retribution, -Beats C.S. Goto in the face with a multilaser, and -Fits with the supposed, unavailable original ending mentioned on 1d4chan.
If you have not read the first ten chapters (the original story, to the best of most people's knowledge), then go read it on the wiki, and may the God-Emperor have mercy on your soul.
In the interest of not spamming a wall of text, and based on my perusal of the rules of Veeky Forums concerning external links, I have decided a far better endeavor would be to instead link a Google document (in no way advertising, well, anything) containing the story. If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to let me know.
So as we're obviously unfamiliar and not being sarcastic, what is this?
Thomas King
>[okay well fine Lofn can be canon k]
The fuck you talking Lofn existence is basically set in stone!
Xavier Thomas
I... I mean... um...
[okay yes Lofn is completely and totally canon in Love Can Bloom, and there is nothing at all contrary to this, regardless of the Inquisition's claims]
Lincoln Cox
I was being sarcastic.
Samuel Brown
*sigh* Love Can Bloom is a famous piece of writing from Veeky Forums, based off of a comic showing a Vindicare assassin, tasked with killing the escaping Farseer Taldeer from Dawn of War: Dark Crusade.
Basically, to summarize: -Insanely trained and brainwashed assassin tasked with obliterating someone's head falls in love with her -Incredibly powerful psychic space elf falls in love with assassin -Inquisitor is a jerk [HERESY! *BLAM*]
If you just do a Google search on 'Love Can Bloom', you can find and read it on 1d4chan, the Veeky Forums wiki.
Jackson Lopez
Good shit op, you are doing what others could only dream about.
If you want an added bonus, read it in the voice of the Dark Crusade narrator.
Wait...
Someone is going to make a Love Can Bloom mod for Dawn of War, isn't he?
Sebastian Martin
>It would consisted of long escort missions.
I don't know about this.
Luis Reed
Never underestimate the people of the Internet.
'Tis a silly place.
Lincoln Perez
Remember that it goes both way.
Logan Hernandez
Nobody asked for this.
Joshua Taylor
Are you or are you not Bloomwriter? Pretty sure the last time I heard, Bloomwriter wanted to rewrite the whole thing, but he also has some severe self-confidence issues which led to his disappearance in the first place.
Benjamin Gomez
Some people did
Ian Foster
Go to bed, Jensen.
Lincoln Garcia
No, I am not the original author. Frankly, his original vision of it (and, indeed, writing) is likely far better than mine.
Although, actually, it would be really, really nice if he did come back and finish it. I do not believe that I quite do the story justice.
Camden Evans
Don't doubt yourself! The people here are like D.Eldar they feed on your fears.
Brandon Brooks
>May the Emperor forgive us all He is fine with this as long it ends with Eldar dying for space STD
Nathan Ortiz
Isn't it the Chaos Gods that feed on emotion?
...And would fear be Tzeentch or Slaanesh?
Then again, the Internet pretty much is the warp.
Joshua Adams
Dark Spear also like to snack on people's fears, it delays Slaanesh from eating their souls.
"Next up, on Love Can Bloom! Peter Jackson and Matthew Ward team up to butcher the most famous piece of writing from Veeky Forums to make three, two hour long movies!"
Coming soon to a Veeky Forums near you: The conclusion to Love Can Bloom?
David Brooks
No matter what /v/ says, Bioshock Infinite proved that escort missions CAN be fun
Nathan Bennett
After years it's finally coming this story will have it's conclusion, beautiful Can you do it in a RTS though? I sincerely invite people to try (no sarcasm)
Connor Parker
Are you from China? Don't you know what Google is?
Liam Howard
>After years it's finally coming this story will have it's conclusion, beautiful Of course, the majority of fa/tg/uys (or something like that) must approve of it if it is to be canon - right?
Nathan Cook
You just need to talk about with the guys in 1d4chan and they will surely approve, I think they are the ones that want most for this story to end.
Sebastian Rodriguez
I know about this story since 2009, I just meant to say that new people come here sometimes.
Kayden Peterson
Why hasn't GW made Love Can Bloom canon yet?
Anthony Ramirez
They certainly toyed with it >That fucking codex
Cameron Taylor
...
Charles Thomas
I remember seeing this guy working on this a day or two ago. He's doing a lot better job than the last guy, so I think we should support him.
Charles Bell
True.
Noah Smith
>better job than the last guy Stop saying shit like that. Bloomwriter is a visionary.
Kevin Kelly
No not bloomwriter, there was another one he tried but his writing skills weren't so good.
Anthony Price
Oh. Well, carry on then.
Brody Morgan
Would tapered let Luigi have sex with her while she was pregnant? seeing as eldar births are so rare she probably would be terrified to do anything.
Jaxon Morris
*Taldeer Fuck you autocorrect!
Nolan Anderson
There was another guy who tried - I can't remember his name, but he wasn't especially good at English and most people didn't enjoy his work.
I was in the thread where he started - I would've tried myself, but I convinced myself other responsibilities kept me too busy.
>Luigi kek
I dunno. Maybe foreplay? Their relationship always seemed more romantic than sexual.
Kayden Morgan
>implying her hormones wouldn't at ties make her want to jump LIIVI
Ethan Thompson
>tapered >Luigi
Logan Morales
You might be into something here, but should be work of more depraved minds.
Zachary Davis
Eldar births are only rare because they don't have enough soulstones to protect more offspring, not because they are challenging or biologically hazardous.
Lucas Gutierrez
You see, this is why I suspect that the vast majority of attempts to expand on Love Can Bloom don't work out.
Hunter Gray
The smut or the line of thought of leaving things for others to do?
there is some decent fapfics but there certainly could be more pics
Andrew Jackson
Because people want to make things, but then either bang their heads on old Veeky Forums fancanon or actual 40k canon?
Adam Mitchell
Interesting since we are on the topic (I imagine this was already asked) would lofn needs a soulstone?
Juan Ramirez
Not if she has faith in our Immortal Emperor.
Isaac Perez
>The smut
Mostly because of how disturbing their story ideas are.
I don't know of anything that explains it in existing LCB canon, but I imagine, as Lofn is half Eldar, Slaanesh would not get her soul when she dies. Of course, we don't really know what all happens to human souls when they die, so a spirit stone might be important in any case.
Jaxson Wood
Her father would probably take care of that part although I think Taldeer would really like for her to pray for her dead pantheon.
Sebastian Morgan
I imagine she would need one, since she seems to take after her Eldar half more, and apparently later becomes a Farseer.
Though I imagine a Vindicare would either miraculously manage to get a soulstone from the Eye of Terror itself, or manage to sneak one from the Eldar coming back to their craftworlds after a soulstone-grabbing expedition. He might even be able to diplomacy with Taldeer's help, especially since she seems to have lost her soulstone in this canon.
Jason Flores
I'm not writing shit, but for simplicity, I'd say she should die like a human, but while alive have the full range of eldar emotion-psychology. Thus, if she starts catering to the darker half of her psyche, then Slaanesh will begin to nibble a la Dark Eldar.
If the Thirst begins to take her, then death would be a mercy. Perfectly grimderp.
Christian Wood
>praying to dead gods
Shiggy diggy
Julian Taylor
This could be a interesting sequel >"LIIVI I'M PREGGERS LET'S GO TO THE EYE OF TERROR TO GET A SOULSTONE SO OUR BABY SOUL DOESN'T BECOMES DEMON FOOD"
Josiah Smith
I can sees it
Nolan Powell
>LIIVI mistakes her reasons for wanting a soulstone entirely >thinks it's another one of those cravings
Also, is it alright if my headcanon is that LIIVI was the Vinidicare shot in Winter Assault during one of the cutscenes, and was patched up by still has memories and emotional attachments to Taldeer, who he would've seen at the Eldar camp?
Juan Ross
I don't see why not.
Parker Stewart
Well, you must understand, one of the (original, mind) bases (spoiler alert) in Love Can Bloom is that defective Vindicare assassins were being produced. I would (personally) argue that it somewhat detracts from the story for him to have seen her before. However, it is not inconsistent with the canon, and you can think whatever you want.
...Unless the Emprah disagrees with you.
Jaxon Bell
>...Unless the Emprah disagrees with you. >consorting with xenos
The Emperor's blessing was removed from LIVII a long time ago.
Daniel Moore
Nice trips. I just figured that it was a good way to explain why he hesitated on shooting Taldeer in the beginning - I never knew about the idea they were being made defective, so I tried to figure out why LIIVI would become defective.
Brayden Smith
>I just figured that it was a good way to explain why he hesitated on shooting Taldeer in the beginning
Well, of course, the best explanation is that Eldrad was trolling her, just as planned.
