>New characters get 20z to purchase additional equipment
>Returning characters may have their race swapped out if they desire. This is a one-time only deal. Race-swapped characters lose their original Starting Equipment, and gain the gear for the new race. Non-standard equipment is still retained.
Active run will begin shortly. In the meantime, post updated character sheets, and feel free to join.
Oh right, I'll add in the weapon trait glossary right now. In the meantime: >Burst Burst weapon types are commonly firearms, but are any weapon that requires loading ammunition within the weapon in order to use it. Loading a round of ammunition into a Burst Weapon takes one Action by default.
>Focus Focus weapons allow the character wielding one to sacrifice their action in order to increase the damage on the next attack made with the weapon. Each sacrificed action increases the damage by 2. However, sacrificed actions are reset upon using any action other than Focus, so moving, defending, readying, or otherwise choosing not to continue the Focus wastes all prior actions. Attacking with the weapon will spend all actions immediately.
Jaxson Ward
Does focus stack with focus strike then? and if I damage multiple targets would I learn the entire group's skills or just one randomly?
Henry Powell
Each requires you to sacrifice an action, meaning that no, no they do not stack. However, given that Focus Assault allows you to use it with any weapon, you can use Focus while not wielding a Focus weapon.
As for the AoE, I'd have to say yes. Defenders in an AoE would all be identified if the skill is used with a means to apply an AoE in the first place.
Tyler Myers
I guess I'll buy a shriker and some ammon then

>Are the new races intentionally more powerful at starting?
Compared to the other races, they're balanced. Adepts are the most agile and have a larger set of utility under their belt. Ferox are capable of putting out damage and sticking to prey with little regard to their opposition. Golems are the sturdiest between high health, and starting armor and shield while providing good support to allies and crowd control when required. Leng identify targets and are well suited to figuring out priorities for the party to remove or ignore. Suco are bloodmages or frenzy berzerkers depending on if they are made to go melee or ranged, given that they have high health with good speed, and they do their best while at any amount of health. Volucer are good skirmishers, being able to fly over melee enemies or terrain without fear of harm, picking up targets, and then depositing them elsewhere or just finishing them off while mid-flight.
In essence, they're all focused to different types of roles in combat. Yet, none of them are required to be played as their intended role.

>Quadmanus [The Suco is capable of equipping up to 4 hands worth of items at a time, can equip two pairs of Hand and Arms equipment as well] >Four arms >Switch Races immediately.

[S1] Robutt the Battledancer [+1 Speed -1 Self-Stun on Overclock] =Status= Speed [5] Health [7/7] Armor [0] Shield [2]
Whats the difference between Armor and Shields? Didn't see it listed in the preview doc.
Connor Rivera
shields affect the way your char is facing armor is affecting it in overall so if your char is flanked the shield armor does not apply but armor always does.
Owen Morales
Ah thanks.
Noah Parker
there's this too.
William Ramirez
We're almost multicultural, we just need one of the Ferox to show up, and a Volucer, and we got all the races.

[L1] Scroll >[A1] Tic [S1] Robutt >[G1] Nid
>Upon waking up, the party realizes they are not in Faux Pass, and instead walk among soft dirt and mortared brick walls. Bones littered the room the party resided within, giving rise to venture out into the shelter they seem to have been brought to. Upon leaving the sort of false haven, the party is accosted by skeletons rising up from the ground. They assemble themselves and draw weapons embedded between their bones, ready for battle.
