Someone please help, I think I've become a hipster. I saw so much discussion about Royal Revival that now I have no interest in actually reading through it myself.

I crammed it into as few pages as possible. I remembered the last time I made a CYOA, one user said I should try to do more with setting. And some threads before that, someone said I never really made any long CYOAs. I figured I'd try to fulfill those things. I should finish an update this thread (90% aesthetic & typo-fix, 10% mechanical change, 0% new content).

I think there's a certain length where it makes more sense to cram a CYOA into a .pdf. I think this is one of those times.

Does anyone have the picture of Princess Azalea of Enela? Cute blonde elves are cute

Okay.

What is with people like you having no idea how pdfs work? They compress images. Putting this many pages into a pdf would either end up with an unreadable, artifacted mess, or be too large to post on Veeky Forums.

Prince Robert of Nelsland is best male suitor. Prove me wrong. You can't

Simonfags need not apply

I think the compression might make it unreadable. All 9 pages are near the 8 MB upload limit already. A single-file PDF is still bound by that 8 MB limit.

Sure thing.

I'm not sure what would help that. Make a build & I'll give you an internet hug?

...

I would encourage you to read it several months from now and then start complaining about how it doesn't get talked about as much anymore.

>I think the compression might make it unreadable.
Try it.

Is Teresa implying that Azalea and Chrys can be a 2-for-1 deal?

Simon is a QT and he worked really hard to return you to life and he fights dragons and he's brave and stronk and and and Robert's a dandy butler made prince!

Oh, and you can always upload it somewhere else.
Damn, elves shouldn't be so cute.

Robert is my husbando and I'm a straight prince.

No, just that Chryssie's also an option, even if she seems less open to romance at first.

I'll see about putting a max-quality PDF on the drive after this update, then.

Simon was doing his duty to the crown. You need to do the same by marrying someone for political gain. Robert fills that role, but he's also qt af and perfect husbando material.

I don't like butlers.

But.. but.. the power of L O V E! Also devotion gowns! Plus if you were truly marrying for political gain you'd marry Maximillion and be his trophy wife.

Probably not, but to me it sounds like Chrys might fight/cause drama/tempt you if you get with Azalea
When it's the other way around, I bet Azalea would be the shy-but-looks-at-you-from-a-distance type, so Chrys would get really competitive as a result.

Maximillion has power, but no husbando qualities. He seems like the type of guy who'd beat his wife.

That's a funny way to spell Dessian.
Robert is second best.

Do your duty to the crown and tell Teresa you just fell down the stairs :^)

>TFW there are ungrateful wenches IN THIS VERY THREAD who aren't dating Simon

>No, just that Chryssie's also an option
I see. Darn.

Next best thing, also acceptable.

Marriage out of gratitude is a horrible idea which can only end in tears for everyone involved.

No, not really. Hadew sees women as "delicate flowers." They have quite low domestic violence & few women are bothered by their treatment. Sure, they don't have much independence, but chivalry is through the roof. They'd brutally beat anyone to lay a hand on a fair lady, though.

I'm going to take a shower & then get back to updating.

>Forgetting he's cute, strong and kind

user only mentioned gratitude, though. And he seems boring, now Zang sounds FUN!

>NICE GUYS DESERVE YOUR HAND IN MARRIAGE AND YOUR VIRGINITY

Nope. He did his duty and I'm doing mine. I'm staying male anyway and I'm marrying my Giantess qt.

I'd be willing to fuck him in the ass for old times sake though.

>not marrying Maximillion of Hadew

I'll confess him I'm a tranny on our honeymoon for giggles.

His honor demands that you die.

Are you though? You were a woman in this world, in fact if anything you were a tranny while on earth. Now you're just back to being your original gender.

My honor demands I tap his ass.
I might have made myself a futa with my mad alchemy skills. I really missed my penis.

>My honor demands I tap his ass.
But his honor is twice as big as yours.
Blood and thunder!

Putting together an Earth Studies/Magitech build. Let me know what you think?

Princess. I don't mind being a guy, but I'd like to try things from a different perspective, you know?

Double Room: High Energy Study Room. High Energy for the sunlight and building my endurance, Study for the concentration effects.

Elizabeth. Vital for the build I'm going to go for, and she seems fun to spend time with as well.

Waffles. The Breakfast of Champions.

Crystal Seed. Generally useful - basically a magic crystalline multi-tool.

Living Bomb Bag. Hello, test subjects.

Prince Robert. He seems like a total sweetheart, and while I can't say for sure he's the one I'd settle down with, I'd be interested in giving him a shot.

Zoey. Learning an extra skill is vital; I can't really not pick her.

Lewis. The best lab assistant I could ask for.

Management. Ideally, I don't want to do this alone. This will help organize people.

Enchanting. Can't make magitech without magic.

Crafting. Lets me actually put things together and make them work.

Elemental Magic. Why use existing fuel sources when enchanted elemental magic works so much better?

Earth Studies. Figuring out how to reproduce Earth technology using magic sounds not only interesting and fun, but also incredibly useful for the war effort. Plus, I'm the only person who can actually do it well.

Investigate the Mysterious Object. This is literally in my job description.

Help Test New Magic. Not in my area of expertise, but hey, I just got a brand new body, I'm used to this kind of thing.

I don't know all the fun stuff regarding technology, but I do know how to do internet research, and I already have some fun ideas. Fire magic combustion engines and rifles, lightning magic batteries and electronics, metal magic factories, and so on. Who knows what we'll make one day?

>not giving Maximillion a potion of paralysis on your wedding night
>not shrinking Maximillion's honor with your potions
>not enlarging your honor with your potions
>not lubing Maximillion's secret treasure with your alchemical oil
>not probing Maximillion's secret treasure with your honor

It could be a night to remember.

>a boy marrying a boy in the first place
FORBIDDEN!

I would love to be able to be with Simon. Through his actions Simon has shown all of the exceptional qualities worth looking for. It's not a reward, he is the Romantic Knight of this CYOA.

However, as he understands all too well, duty comes first. While being happy in our marriage is (apparently) a duty in itself, it's not the only one. I have a responsibility to support the kingdom as best as I am able in this time of trouble and in the peace beyond, and to do that I am going to need to political aid of one of the other suitors. I believe he will be happy enough to simply know that I am well, especially as there are no romantic feelings between us YET, only the potential for them.

Hopefully Victor and I can still be happy together as well. He's certainly a decent enough sort unlike SOME of the male suitors. It doesn't sound like much, but a picture and a thirty second conversation is hardly much to go on to begin with so I'll just have to find out the hard way (note: choosing a suitor here is not a commitment at all, although the sooner we do commit and wed the sooner our kingdoms can benefit). Palladia's white steel will be instrumental in producing the magitech of our future.

Sex: Girl

Rooms: Regal and Rose-Tinted (Normal and dungeon combined ;^) .)

Mentor: Diana

Breakfast: Pancakes!

Items:
Insightful Spyglass
Goldberg Automaton (Of course I'll turn on the emotion switch.)
(I got my eyes on you color dusters!)

Marriage:

Considering their antiquated views on forbidden love, I will simply have to find a way to get around that. Either way, I will demand my sisters call both genders, just because I want to know them.

Men of interest:
Maximillion - While seemingly a great road block in achieving forbidden love, his idealism does make him dashing...
Nathan - I do like a person of science. As well, his desire to fight means he might not care much for my side interests...
Robert - He is sweet, and he might not mind my side interests either if I can get him to love me like a friend.
Stone King Desian - Literally an asexual golem, and also seems friendly to boot, despite being lonely, pretty much perfect for me. Mary him in order to be "married", and then

Women of interest:
Judith - hnng. You know what, I might not get married afterall... I wouldn't mind being her
Katelyn - The poor thing. Am going to need to find a way down into the dungeon and comfort her sometime.
Scarlet - The model patriot of Rome of old, well, despite being a woman. I could very much come to respect her, and comfort her...

con..

I see no differences.
That's the exact same character, ain't it?

So can a prince still take My Room as an option?

So here is the plan of action. I pretend to court Maximillion at first, but considering his pompous attitude, if I rub him in the wrong way, he will most certainly forget about me. Afterwards, I ask Dessian if I could pretend to court him, on the premise of the relationship springing from Maximillion's rejection. Assuming he would say yes, I would be free to seek after both Judith and Scarlet. While not particularly being of martial skill, I will travel to Greve as frequent as I can, so that I might boost their morale, and do anything else I can to help their cause. From there, I will slowly gain Scarlet's trust, by being there to support her personally, slowly getting myself ready to make a move.

Retainers:
Judith - I am more than glad to have her at my side, and will defer to her on matters of personal safety. However, other than that I will essentially annoy her by treating her like a pet, having her carry any equipment/shopping bags I might have, establishing my dominance over her in our relationship as friends
Pai Zai - Well, at the very least I will be getting some type of yuri love. I do believe she will be instrumental in having Scarlet and Judith fall for me... as well she will be good for helping with Greve, and her generally milfy figure suggests she would be great with helping me nurture Katelyn.

Classes:
Charisma
Regal Hobbies
Fashion
Healing magic - Another useful talent to help Greve moral. Along with doing speeches, I think I will spend my days there tending the wounded.

Responsibility - Shadow

Quests - Join the Fight (Pretty much the perfect way to get Maximillion of my heels. Also will be there to help heal people.)/Adopt the Orphaned Princesses (too qt...)

It's not forbidden to be a qt girl and drink a futa potion though :^)

Make magitech spaceships.

Technically speaking, the mages state that Dessian can produce an heir, so I don't think he's asexual.

Unfortunately, that would require another slot; I don't have enough for Spacial Magic. I guess I could theoretically go with the Mage origin to add that in, but it seems like I'd have less opportunities to actually do Earth Studies that way, as well as contribute my work to the Kingdom.

...Berri, could I use Mage as a makeshift Earth Studies option?

user, I was refering to his libedo.

>yuri + healing magic

THE TRUE SIGN OF ANGELANON, HALLELUJAH!

I'm surprise you're not taking some extremely psycho revenge on the King of Verend though.

Where do you get him having no libido?

You don't need to learn the magic yourself. Use your friends and allies, have them do the enchanting and construction. You are just the project lead.

>not wanting to heal the sick and wounded

You don't need to be Angel to have a heart.

Exactly, he's ROCK hard ALL the time.

>he is a literal rock

That can only mean he can't keep his rock down, like said.

user, I thought of the pun too, but you really didn't need to say it.

>princess CYOA
>not forced to be a girl
what the fuck

You are putting too much emphasis on doing everything yourself. You want to do the research, the enchanting, the spells, AND the management... it's way too much to take on and you are spreading yourself too thin as a result.

Your biggest strength is your tie to Earth. You know what to look for, and have a pretty decent (compared to them) understanding of how all the technology works, the history of it, what it's used for etc. Hell, you know the internet, so as soon as Lewis gets that up and running you'll be able to use that to its full advantage. Everyone else would be bogged down on porn sites if they can even figure out how to use Google.

Use your allies for their strengths. Get yourself an enchanter, an engineer, a mage, a scientist, a craftsman Make a team, and focus your studies on how to use your team, NOT how to do their jobs for them.

Your sister loves you and won't force you into your old body if you're happy with the new one.

Yeah I'm tired of boys forcing themselves into OUR hobby boys don't even like CYOAs anyway fucking hell

>Princess
>Study room

>Lewis+Reginald
>Management, Enchanting, Elemental Magic
>Mage: Healing and Spatial magic
>Help Test New Magic
Wizard-sage Goldberg is dead, somebody needs to replace him. They might have magical foodboxes that keep food fresh, but I bet they won't have everything we have on Earth and that can be easily replaced with magic without any need to for modern technology. Like underfloor heating, freshwater shells-powered mills, air conditioned armours that automatically resize to perfectly fit their owner or resizable crystal dildos for succubi kingdom. Lewis and Reginald would help me to better understand the new world, how to make it better and how we can profit from the wars. In the meantime, I'll work on an heir with Robert, it shouldn't take long with the use of healing magic.

Yeah, isn't it great? I wouldn't have given it the time of day, otherwise.

Good point. I'm not 100% sure that a Space Magic Enchanter exists, given that they're both difficult to master, but we could certainly try to find one for the war effort. Spaceship would be a good peacetime project afterwards.

On one hand, you definitely have a good point. I am kind of trying to build someone able to manage all of this myself. On the other hand, though? Most of what I'm going to be doing is prototyping. I'm absolutely going to get myself a team as soon as I can, but I feel like I need to be involved in proof of concept and in actually making sure things end up correct. If I don't have this kind of training, I don't know how to tell if things are correct besides them exploding.

Also, there's some limit based on which Sibling I learn from. I need to learn Management, which means it's either a free choice or I need to pick Lizzy.

>be female as a princess
>be female on Earth
>for some reason get to become a boy

The sister secretly wants the D and is hoping you'll swap genders and propose the idea to her.

>the "sister" lies to you, fabricated story about dead princess and abducted your soul from Earth to get edge in the war

The potion was a safety measure incase you had been reincarnated as a boy.

>no romantic feelings between us YET
Your sister does tease your presence to him during the call.
Not nearly all of Simon's motivation in reviving you was duty to the country or Teresa's persuasion.
But yes, his loyalty and sense of duty is plenty enough to suppress that if you don't pick him. He can find happiness elsewhere.

>Dessian
Reading the conversation, you're correct in that he has a low sexual appetite. Being a scary rock monster, living alone, and just being as old as he is can do that to you.
>Katelyn
You don't really have to "find" a way. Just ask any old guard "which way to the dungeon?" and you'll be led right there. Picking her isn't required to go and visit or talk.

Well, the potion was already made, so they may as well let you use it if you want. Yeah, what said.

Goldberg Automaton is probably the only thing you can't just look around to find more of. Does ice cream go well with pancakes? Also, the magical foodboxes are leagues better than refrigerators. You don't need to be in too big a rush to get an heir. No one's really all that old.

Teresa wouldn't lie about that. She might be under delusions about a lot of things, the player might not even be the reincarnation of her sister, but there's too much other evidence about the existence of the dead princess for her to be lie.

She got the potion before knowing your gender on earth.

Management is probably a good call. Learning one magic skill is also a good idea because it teaches you the fundementals of magic on a first-hand basis. How can you be the idea guy for magitech if you don't have the faintest idea how magic is performed? Doesn't matter if it's a form of magic you actually need for your tech.

Personally though, I went for tactics because I want to know exactly which military technologies from Earth will do the most good in the war effort, and which will actually be less useful than what they already have. I considered "management" to be more large-scale kingdom or army operating. I think you can handle loosely managing a small team of extremely dedicated people without a special class in it. When it comes time to manage the implementation of your tech on a large scale, THEN you can go to Lizzy and have her do the legwork there.

was meant for

...

Hmm. That's actually a really good idea. I guess I probably don't need Crafting; I can get people to make things to my specifications. I'll replace it with Tactics. I do want to keep Enchanting + Elementalism, though. I'm getting Enchanting anyway because of Lizzie, and it's a good idea to be able to understand what kinds of limitations I'm dealing with firsthand.

Man, I gotta ask. How deep does Vivian's affection for her brother go? If it's romantic or obsessive I don't wanna get in that but she seems like the best choice for my Craftsmen build because of that sweet white steel.

Help?

Why would you choose inferior steel over your glorious crystals?

Because Steel is more common compared to Crystal?

Steel works better for emulating earth tech and it's better for mass producing things for the common soldiers. How would you make an assault rifle out of crystal? There might be a way, but you are going to be stuck with years of R&D to figure it out. Regenerating crystal bullets would be nice though.

I already called that.
It's mainly how hard she pushes the crossdressing shit that made me feel this way.

>Body:Princess
Muscle Princess gonna choke some Verendian bitches

>Room:High Energy Room/Harsh Room/Study Room/My Room
Maximum squatting, maximum gains for maximum muscles and maximum huge. Also study room because my brain needs to workout as I workout.

She can teach me how to git gud and not be a scrub.

>Breakfast: All three options
Need to eat in order to get gains

>Items: Devotion Gown/Replenishing Bracer
Devotion gown for the all around stat boost to protect my little bitchboy hubby and sister and replenishing bracer's faster muscle and stamina recovery rate and longer sleep cycles for better gains.

>Husband:Peony
Bitchboy is mine and its snu snu all day every day whether he likes it or not. Plus his kingdom being a trading hub means I have access to all the strategic resources of the other kingdoms albeit at higher cost and limited quantity.

Retainers:Whimsy/Jella
Whimsy for accelerated gains from rooms, and I'm gonna force that gelatinous NEET to take up alchemy again so she can recreate that permanent entropic Gel.

Class: Combat and Defense (Teresa affinity)

Responsibility: Power Seeker
Because I seek the power to liberally apply my fists into bitch ass niggers.

Quests: Help Test New magic/Join the Fight
Gonna get jacked up on magic experimental steroids for ultimate gains and curb stomp some Verendian tiny baby men.

Gonna spend most of my time eating a lot, training a lot, fighting a lot, sleeping a lot and maybe do some princess bullshit to run the kingdom.

If everything works out as I envision it, Jella remakes that permanent entropic gel potion with ingredients from Prince Peony's trading hub kingdom. I'm gonna to personally stroll into Verend's capital and personally dickslap their kingdom to hell with my giant throbbing gooey tentacle, ending the war and ushering in a new gold age of prosperity, health and fitness.

Best assume it's pure. Though I would also assume they won't be separated for long. Expect the one to move in at the castle with you if you marry the other.

Because it's great steel that can be mass produced. Adding to the overall quality of our forces. While crystals are much fewer in number and only really go to royalty and crystal knights which are like an elite force.

Power Seeker is male-only.

You should have a 3rd class of your choice.

So they're not viable choices.

Power Seeker is male only bruh, sorry.

>Breakfast: All three options
>Need to eat in order to get gains
Noooo, user, it's all carbs. Don't do the dirty bulk.

The problem is that while your country controls the strategical source of crystals, there might be iron mines all over the world and your inventions might help your rivals. The progress isn't always in your best interest.

Made small update for witchy Princess build. Just replaced Charlotte with Pouf. I liked having a Secretary/maid/chef, but I think having a friend who can teach me about alchemy is probably more helpful.
