How come there's different types of elves, but there's only one kind of human?

>Whites
>Blacks
>Asians
>Indians
>Lawyers

But user- we are all one race - the human race!
now get back to scrubbing the floors, tyrone

Oh look another thinly veiled /pol/ thread.

What if, along with High Elves, there where High Humans?

>High Humans

Ok, user, you can play one of three kinds of elves, two kinds of dwarves, a lizard man, a normal human, or an abbo, what do you want to play?

of course there is:
high humans (eurpoeans), gold-humans (asians), deep-humans (niggers), jews (jews), ....

Lawyers aren't a race user, they're a type of undead.

>blacks
>indians
>lawyers
>Implying those are human beings.

Got a problem with that list, bub. OP said "humans"

Personally I'd go with fiend. Bureaucrats are undead.

>high humans

You mean dank humans

HAHAHA, SO FUNNY!

>Because humans are, by nature, the most adaptable of races, environmental variants are generally not included for humans. The exception is aquatic humans, which, due to their ability to live and breathe underwater, are sufficiently different from other humans to warrant an environmental variant.

There's loads of different humans, though

>snow people

>jungle people

>desert people

Look at how Fantasy Craft does it, OP. They have different talents that humans can get, so you can have a Cunning Human or a Tough Human or a Wise Human.

>Lawyer
>Human

>desert people during Girl's Night Out.

Hey, that's not fair. It's just 90% of lawyers who make the other 10% look bad.

Some games do. The original warmacnine rpg, the one that was an expansion for 3.5, for example.

If you're subtly asking why they don't have analogues to IRL human races, well the answer to that is pretty obvious. No one is going to want to join the losing team of a super heated political battle with their art/job. That would be pretty stupid.

A lawyer was a big part of the reason Star Trek TNG was having so much trouble in its first season.
Fuck lawyers.

the elder scrolls games have several human races, they even have different stats (until stats were removed)

>Humans
>Humans
>Humans
>Humans
>Robots

They still technically did
Each had different starting proficiency and racial bonuses

D&D actually has an alternate race of humans in the Book of Vile Darkness, the Vashar.

They were a failure race created by the gods and destroyed because they were utterly evil and despised their creators. Learning from this failure, the gods then created the more balanced race of humans, and hope that this predecessor race would simply be forgotten.

However, this race was later resurrected by a Demon Prince who was curious as to what a race of god-hating humans could accomplish, and they now form terrifying tribes that only persist because their hatred of the gods and all other creatures is marginally greater than the hatred they have for each other.

Appearance wise, they tend to vary as much as ordinary humans do, except they are predisposed towards mutilating their bodies in grotesque fashions and their lack of taboos against rape and incest have them predisposed to many deformities.

Humans as a race are too young to have divided like the much older elves have.

Actually not a bad point - there's also little differentiation between dwarf types, but elf types are pretty separate.

I think they're a bit like Tieflings

What about nords, what's you got against Nordic peoples human

>He forgot programmers

They're all male.
They're all pale.
They live in dark and damp places.
They're all ugly.
They reproduce by stealing kids futures.

>beurucrates
>undead
Your Weber is showing.

This is a bait thread but so far you guys haven't taken it, good job friendorinos

Because that shit makes people uncomfortable, and this is all just escapist nonsense, even when its edgy.

>light human
>dark human
>high human
>high human reskin
>half-devil

>knows weber but doesn't know how to spell bureaucrat
you are a curious individual.

Elder scrolls doesnt do this bullshit. Red guards are different than imperials.

Elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes and such are just humans with a coat of paint

The High Men of Gondor.

I see only 2 types of human on that list

>The High Men of Numenor

Fixed.

Thank you.

You know that "deep-" subraces tend to be the best of their racial group statwise, right?

How come there are different imaginary types of elves, but the one and only kind of human is real?

Basically when you play human it's understood you can be whatever ethnicity you want. They didn't divide us into different races and give them different stats because that would just piss off all the racists and sjws depending how they do it.

I would suggest Golarion, since it has multiple human ethnicities, but Golarion is a shit, the Kelesh are a cancer.

Remove Dawnflower

Hey, blaming lawyers is like blaming the Uruk Hai for being bred by Saruman. In a democracy, law makers made the shitty laws. And who elected these law makers? Why, you anons. YOU are the evil one.

Well, if we are talking about D&D 3.5 here there are also Neanderthals, Azurin, and Kalashtar that all count as human.
