Makes sense.

Is this the vaping of the middle ages?

I love this. Thanks, OP.

Seems fragile, but that also goes for pretty much any glass potion bottle really

Yep

Look at their little feet!

You can drink faster without a straw.

>soon a local entrepeneur starts packing healing potions inside metal cans with rip-off tabs for ease of carrying

>someone invents the potion beer helmet

>not long after the fighter turns up with a healing potion IV drip

Not with headwear designed to prevent this.

I had a villain in a game who was basically in the business of making chimeras. So he captured a guy once and implanted him with healing poitions bottles that poured straight into his vitals whenver he was hurt. Effectively, he had a fast healing of 5, but a limited number of hitpoints he could heal.

Dragon Magazine actually had this back in 3.5. Popular among power-gamers because it meant that drinking potions from it didn't cost a free action.

Remember when DnD wasn't all about fantasy worlds?

...

I think we lost something when "fantasy" came to mean "medieval fantasy".

When we include anachronisms and allow other settings to be fantastical, there's a lot of fun and whimsy to be had.

Why do anything?
