that series will never stop being the greatest thing ever.

VULKAN

LIVES

Some cunt from these threads probably the Slav cunt created a troll account on the secret share forum
The mods for pissed off at the infighting that resulted - and probably due to the cunt creating a premium account so donating to the site - so deleted all Warhammer share threads

>Dorn
>Still alive
They have his fucking scrimshawed BONES, how can he be alive?

I was writing a review for Throneworld and I just stopped because there isn't much to say about it. At this point, you're in for the long haul with The Beast Arises.

I do want to say, it was the funniest WH40k novel I've read in a long time.

>This is probably the most fun I’ve had with The Beast Arises ever. ‘Throneworld’ just fucking delivers on so many points, with so many plots and so many characters. It’s not a perfect novel; the entire Inquisition subplot is really cringe-worthy, but the sight of a Jehovah’s Witness Dreadnought proselytizing at Renegade Marines more than makes up for it. Guy Haley has written one of the funniest Warhammer 40k novels I’ve read in a long time, and I think it’s definitely worth reading.

By being dead. In pretend.

they only have one arm.

Primarchs that aren't ferrus, sanguinius or guilliman could show up anywhere.

beast series is poop tho

The really hilarious part is that the Iron Warrior almost agreed, he even mentioned something like "so Lorgar was right, just a bit early"

I can't see how that would prevent a link being shared.

I thought they had both of his arms? Still, cyberarms are pretty common in 40k.

...But now I am thinking about armless Dorn running around begging for people to build him new arms. And then complaining about the lack of quality in the arms. Then he claims he will build better ones by himself but due to the poor craftmanship in his new arms he can only make arms that are slightly better than the current ones so he starts replacing his arms with better ones again and again.

>Perhaps this is the reason why he is still missing? He won't come back until he is certain that he has the most bitching pimp-slap arms in the galaxy.

Nah only one hand was found.

Dorn is Abaddon.

I guess you could say that he's only going to return once he has finally perfected his Imperial fists.

>Ferrus: Super dead, multiple clones
>Horus: Soul obliterated, clone shows up
>Angron: Still raging
>Sanguinius: Dead, possibly warp entity
Guilliman: Chilling in stasis
>Perty: Brooding in the eye
>Alpharious/Omegnon: Posing in this very thread
>Corax: ????
>Russ: ?????
>Vulkan: LIVING somewhere
>Dorn: ?????
>Khan: ????
>Lion: In a Closet in the Rock's basement
>Fulgrim: Busy in the Eye doing weird butt stuff
>Kurze: Dead, plausibly could have faked it
>Magnus: In the Eye in multiple places at once due to brain problems
>Mort: Stewing in the Eye

His spirit is ascended
Also he left behind one hand only

Because whoever has it can't or won't share on that site until they allow share threads again

I think they only got said bones later. I can't remember when it happened, but at some point Dorn disappeared after charging aboard a Chaos flagship that then warped off, and later the Firsts found his bones (depending on the edition, they have either his skeleton, both his hands, or one of his hands on display). Could be that at M32 they hadn't yet found the bones, and he could've still been alive. Could be alive later as well, if you go by the version where they only found his hand(s) rather than entire skeleton.

They found his skeleton in 2e I believe and incased it in amber and used his hands to inscribe the chapter masters names.

It got retconned to they just found his hands

You could say he lent a hand to stop the first BC

Looks like they're the Bane of their enemies.

>"what a tweeest: the year long series"
how many times have the orks fought in this again?

>Kurze: Dead, plausibly could have faked it
I'd give him a fucking medal for faking his own decapitation.

Vulkan has a hammer called 'Doomtremor' and is like a living volcano.

Vulkan absolutely wrecks shit in this novel, seriously, makes the other Primarchs look like pussies.

To be fair Vulkan SURVIVED decapitation.

Corax and Russ left for the Eye if Terror, the former because he felt bad about having to kill a load of failed attempts at making astartes on the quick, and the latter went to look for Yggdrasil or something to bring the Emperor back from the brink.

Contrary to what people are saying in this thread, no one is certain if the hand they found is Dorn's, as he boarded the ship they found him on with some terminators.

Khan was last seen chasing some Dark Eldar into the Webway.

...

Vulkan is also immortal, he's survived re-entering Macragge's atmosphere.

>‘Your actions honour his name, and I will tell him so.’

What did he mean by this?

I have the sneaking suspicion that the Primarch are being hinted at being alive so they can take center stage in Age of Emperor.

I think he isn't a perpetual anymore. Maybe the fulgurite had the same effect it had on Grammaticus.

If they would get specialist writers in to revamp the setting I'd be OK with that. It's just going to be their sheltered team of blurb writers spewing noun soup all over a World of Warcraft map, though.

>What did he mean by this?
"DORN LIVES, LITTLE BITCHES!"

I think he meant that.

Vulkan dies like a bitch and tells Dorn all his sons died like a bitch in the afterlife

>Your actions honour his name, and I will tell him so
>After I tell him his whole first founding chapter went down like chumps. All the other 1st Founders are ok, just his kids. It was bad too, like if it had happened in a novel, they got rekt so hard it would have happened within a single chapter, damn near a cliffnote. Yeah, that bad. Lel

I wonder if every time Vulkan dies, before he comes back he gets to communicate with the dead.

im conflicted

>Dorn is our glorious primarch
>but hes dead
>we all know hes dead
>suddenly he comes back from the dead
>which makes him undead

do we purge? im so confused

We never saw him die. Only MIA.

this is true. I guess we'd have to let Helbrecth make the call.

Now I'm thinking.

Apart from Vulkan who litteraly can't die, has none of the Primarchs some regenerative abilities?
I mean, these fucks are science as much as magic, they survive everything barring complete decapitation, surely one can regrow hands...no?

Kurze is pretty fucking dead.
Not in the serie, but ADB confirmed in the NL one that the assasin cut his head off, and that his Primarchs genes were so damn good that it took several minutes before blood started drippinh from the head.

>mfw you just Ferrus head back on its body and poof! He's back in his feet

He means that the Fists actions honored Dorn and that he will tell Dorn that. Duh.

Ferrus, Horus, Sangy, and Curze are all "really fucking dead" category. None of them are ever coming back.

>It was bad too, like if it had happened in a novel, they got rekt so hard it would have happened within a single chapter
but seriously, fuck BL

No, Sangy is possibly coming back as the Sanguinor.

Horus is the only one whose permadead, because his soul was destroyed.

>Horus is the only one whose permadead

Bile brought him back.
Abby had to kill him again.

No he didn't you twit. That was a soulless clone and was the reason why he was destroyed. And why he was so weak, he lacked the soul and psychic powers bestowed by the Emperor's mad science.

>No he didn't you twit.

Yes he did.
There were clones there, but Horus was Horus, it was his dead body brought back to life, and he was certainly not weak.

It wasn't his dead body your retard, that was a Clone. The body wasn't reanimated, Fabius took genetic samples like he did with all the Primarchs (including Ferrus) and tried to recreate him, and failed. 40k is entirely about souls, and they are the source of identity. Horus was killed on Terra by the Emperor when he completely erased Horus from existence. The thing Abaddon fought was just that, a thing, and why everybody loathed it because it was nothing more than empty puppet created by Bile to spit in the face of the Sons of Horus/Black Legion.

And it was pathetic, as it died to space marines. A proper Primarch with an intact soul would have murdered them all without hope of victory.

>It wasn't his dead body your retard

It was though.

>40k is entirely about souls, and they are the source of identity.

The Chaos Gods sent Abaddon because they did not want Horus to come back. If it was just meat they wouldn't care.

>And it was pathetic, as it died to space marines. A proper Primarch with an intact soul would have murdered them all without hope of victory.

Primarchs aren't that powerful. Vulkan got killed with a fork. Horus reborn did not have any Chaos powers, and was killed by a potent sorcerer , rubric marines and finally Abby.

>It was though.
It wasn't. There's no proof it was when everything Bile does is CLONING.

>The Chaos Gods sent Abaddon because they did not want Horus to come back. If it was just meat they wouldn't care.
The Dark Gods sent him to kill "Horus" because Horus wasn't Horus. His soul was erased you dumb fucker, there is no more Horus. The only thing that was left is a clone of a body that lacks everything that made Primarchs what they are, which is the knowledge the Emperor stole from Chaos to create their souls.

>Primarchs aren't that powerful. Vulkan got killed with a fork. Horus reborn did not have any Chaos powers, and was killed by a potent sorcerer , rubric marines and finally Abby.
Primarchs are that powerful you twit. You'd best actually read the Horus Heresy books before you spout bullshit and memes. Vulkan died to a fork shoved into his body by another Primarch, one of the strongest for that matter, and is weird because he seemed to get progressively weaker and more insane with each reincarnation due to his nature as a Perpetual.

Meanwhile we have Primarchs clocked at hypersonic speeds and have flesh so strong that they aren't injured by Lascannons to the breast. Had that been the real Horus, nobody would have been left alive. Even weak-ass Guilliman completely murdered a contingent of Alpha Legion infiltrators locked in a small room with him and they were all armed with Primarch-killing guns and still lost.

>It wasn't

It was though.

>everything Bile does is CLONING.

Not true, he does all sorts of shit. He's even made an alchemical elixer to keep a tower of flesh alive for the Haemonculi.

>Vulkan died to a fork shoved into his body by another Primarch

Right, but he still got killed by a fork. A fork still pierced his hide and rekt him internally to the point that he died.

>Had that been the real Horus, nobody would have been left alive.

Remember that Horus also died to a regular mutant human with a magic sword. Getting killed by magic space marines and Abaddon is a more heroic death.

>And it was pathetic, as it died to space marines.

Angron died to Space Marines when he was a super daemon.
Mortarion was struck down with a single blow from a Space Marine.

Primarchs ain't all that tough.

That just raises more questions!

>The Dark Gods sent him to kill "Horus" because Horus wasn't Horus.

Actually because they decreed that his fate was to die. Horus was the Sacrificed King and they didn't want him to come back. The Emperor just killed him.

Those are Grey Knights, the most powerful Space Marines ever who are all psykers.

And Draigo beat Morty because he knew his Daemon Name.

>Those are Grey Knights

And reborn Horus got beefed by Abaddon and assorted other Chaos Champions.

>And Draigo beat Morty because he knew his Daemon Name.

Nah, that shameful retcon was thankfully retconed.

I've read that there is a legend that Ferrus' body is kept on life support in the deepest bowls of Mars, and the Iron Hands are secretly looking for his head
Because Warhammer 40k.
And that Guilli Guilli is SSSLLLOOOOWWWWLLLLY healing
I want to think that Guilliman was fucking fine all along and they but him in Stasis because everyone is an idiot.
He wakes up and is like 'WHAT THE FUCK GUYS?'

>Doesn't know of the Ferrus clones that Fulgrim makes trying to seduce them and failing miserably
Whew user, that's not the worst.

easily my favorite bit of lore

Wasn't Vulkan a very "meh" tier primarch? He just had the advantage of being a literal immortal

He was good at smithing things and he was super tough but that's about it.

Unremembered Empire says he's the physically strongest but held back cuz he was so peaceful

I think during the heresy they torture fulgrim by striping the flesh from his hands down to the bone and he just regenerates all of it.

Dorn Might have grown new hands?

That's some weak-ass torture.

It was his foot; they started by slowly melting it down (after Lucius had got tired of standing around talking and snipped off one of Fulgrim's fingers, which made Fabius mad because you don't just randomly chop bits off and call it torture), stopped briefly, then noticed Fulgrim healing before their eyes and quickly moved on to other things.
>ass torture
Including that, yes.

>ass torture
Tell me more

No, he still is. The Orks hordes kept trying to kill him but he always gets up.

>That was a soulless clone

No, it wasn't. Khayon and other sorcerer didn't see any soullessness in the clone.

Vulcan was a ghost for this whole time.

>Guilliman was fucking fine all along
he got stabbed in the neck by ful "the beheader" grim and was slowly dying from space poison

since he's technically not dead, he probably asked to be put in stasis

When is the last novel coming out?

December?
There's one a month for the year I think.

And the HH series will take 50 extra years to reach the Siege of Terra.

The Horus Heresy series is indeed a total shit show.

Don't remind me. I can't wait to see BL's next series that brings up skub.

his hands melted when he was strangling the avatar of Khaine in Fulgrim

Despite the first battles in the Sol system taking place later this year?

Will we see a moment like this in the series?

VULKAN LIVES

Am I wrong thinking GW is going to get the primarchs back into action?

Vulkan lives
Dorn too
Guillman may heal
The others can as well get manhandled back out of the warp/webway/wherever
Russ is likely returning with warzone fenris and the daemon primarchs are only xboxhueg bestelling plastic kits away

Imagine all the shekels of marines players that aren't into the HH who would buy primarchs

There's no suggestions or rumours that they will be, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. 40k is circling the drain right now, so GW might well pull out all the stops to milk as much money from it as possible before the end.

>t. Brian ghost Ferrus
You are not friend.

Shut your not face Brain Ghost Ferrus

They are building up to 40K end times where all the missing Primarchs return like Power Rangers

Now I kinda want them to return and make some goofy poses before every battle.

Why risk that it isn't heresy?

Are you some kind of heretic?

You know I'm curious, let's say Matt Ward starts writing again and uses Emperor has a text to speech device as an inspiration, and actually had the ultramarines send a strike team into the eye of terror to capture Magnus the Daemon Primarch, and they succeed. How loud would the bitching be?

You think that's ferrus or
Vulkan tripping balls

Magnus is just a little pussiboi so no one would care.

What if the Ultramarines also recovered the artifacts of Vulcan and gave them to the Salamanders?

>40k is circling the drain right now, so GW might well pull out all the stops to milk as much money from it as possible before the end.
Good riddance. I'd hate to hear they were being rewarded for all the shit fluff they've put out the past half decade. It's a shame they're probably going to double down on shit fluff though.

Don't make me quote the multiple depictions of that battle. All of them involve the Emperor destroying his soul utterly. Hell, he even does it to an ork warlord.

>Horus felt the build up of colossal psychic energies and shielded his eyes as a furious light built within the Emperor. Power like nothing he had ever seen his father wield, or even suspected he possessed. All consuming, all powerful, it was the power to extinguish life in every sphere of its existence. Physical flesh turned to ash before it and what ancient faiths had once called a soul was burned out of existence, never to cohere again.
>Nothing would ever remain of he who suffered such a fate.
>Their body and soul would pass from the finite energy of the universe, to fade into memory and have all that they were wiped from the canvas of existence.
>This was as complete a death as it was possible to suffer.

ADB and his Chaosfaggotry can suck a dick.

The iron hands have a ship literally filled with severed heads brought back to life, with the new HH series is fucking hard to tell what might happen.

Being a daemon primarch is more of a disadvantage than an actual benefit though.
