OC Thread #12

Welcome to the Veeky Forums OC thread.
Previous Thread: Tell us about your original characters, new and old. Let's hear some stories of valor and glory and build some legends in here.

>THIS THREAD IS PRIMARILY FOR CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND SHOWING OFF YOUR FAVORITES FROM YOUR GAMES
It's like the Storythread, but centered on characters that we all know and help make. Your Original Character can be any character you've played, are playing, or want to play!

>WHEN POSTING YOUR OC
Give us a little blurb about your character, this is a brag thread after all. Some basic questions to get you started:

>WHAT'S YOUR OCs MARY SUE SCORE?
springhole.net/writing/marysue.htm

Write and share stories about each others' characters (use a pastebin for works that would take up multiple posts). Draw and share pictures of each others' characters (please link offsite in the event of NSFW work).

Ask questions about other anons characters and get to know their stories, and tell us all about your own.

Need help developing a new character concept? Ask away!

This thread is intended to be all in good spirit, so please remember to be excellent to each other, and try to contribute in some way. If you can't draw, write something for someone and vice versa.

>IF YOU JUST NEED CHARACTER ART, GO TO THE DRAW THREAD
There are more artists consistently there that are actively looking for requests to fill, that's not the case here.

>DON'T MAKE A NEW THREAD UNTIL PAGE 10
Use art from these threads as OP image when possible.

Why do they wear the armor style that they do?

>OC Development Questions:
>Does your OC have/want children?

Mary would love to have kids one day

>What was your OCs first fling like?

Fling?

>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?

She doesn't like hitting things all too much, but she will help out the people who are hitting the things for her!

>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?

Because her mother said it looked cute on her, and all her part memebrs armor recommendations for her where far too skimpy

Opening with a new OC of my own from last thread.

Name: Paar'tol, the Elderplague

Role: Ward against spirits, black magic, and all forms of supernatural predators.

Goals: Use his education of the inner workings of the sides of Light and Dark as a benefit to mankind, casting out those who would victimize innocent lives.

Traits: Has a mentor-like mindset, loves a listening ear and to teach others ways to protect themselves through clever application of charms, trinkets, and rituals.

Flaws: When encountering an adversary he's unfamiliar with, Paar'tol is on edge to a fault, often becoming blocked mentally as he tries to formulate a plan of action. This can slow down his reflexes and clog his mind.

Enemies: Hidden witch covens pepper the lands Paar'tol resides in, and it's his duty to flush them out into the light.

He got his name of "Elderplague" after taking a local mercenary band that was hired to clear out a coven preying on a small farmtown and assisting them in victory.

He didn't do anything to 'earn' the nickname, it was just something this contractor group did for fun, and it stuck. I mean, they gave the other guy the name Wardbreaker, which Paar'tol is pretty jealous of.

• Name: Antonio de Torres, son of Felipe de Torres, proud son of Magritta!

• Role(s): Whatever strikes his fancy. Technically a duelist by training.

• Goals: None! Or rather, ever-changing. On any given day he'll tell you that he wants to invent a new dueling style, start his own academy, seduce the Countess of Nuln, fight the hordes of the north...mostly he just wants to drink, carouse, and wake up somewhere interesting every day.

• Traits: Friendly, honorable, generous, brave, loyal, fearless

• Flaws: Extremely credulous, unfaithful to women, easily bored and distracted, easily diverted by fashion and pageantry, easily angered, jumps to conclusions

• Allies: Tends to vary based on who he's traveling with. Previous comrades included an eternally-pessimistic Kislevite who he endlessly annoyed with his credulity, a vengeful Norscan mercenary, a barmy adventuress from Bilbali, a sour-tempered dwarfen miner, and others.

• Enemies: A fellow Estalian, one Ramon de Robledo, with whom he had a long quarrel while still enrolled in a military academy. A duel between the two saw Antonio nearly killed and ultimately expelled. Antonio has vowed to kill him if they ever cross paths again.

• Other Relations: Antonio has two brothers and a mother and father. He also had an uncle who was a sea captain for his father's shipping company, but vanished and is presumed dead. Antonio is closest to his middle brother, Esteban, who resembles him in appearance but is a much cooler-tempered, more cynical man, crippled in his youth by polio. Antonio's father Felipe was molding his oldest son to take over the family shipping business, but Antonio's reckless behavior spoiled these plans. As a result, mercurial Antonio and his staid, analytical father are not on speaking terms.

• Physical Description: Tall, handsome, with a clean-shaven face, blue eyes, and jet-black hair. Perpetually wears a smile and the latest fashions his quickly-spent coin can buy.

Rashad shall start this off!

>Does your OC have/want children?
Heros have big families! everyone knows that! Thats why when he finds the perfect lady(ies) he'll want to have no less than seven children (Per). Seven is a lucky number afterall.

>What was your OCs first fling like?
Back in his previous life as Tomas Morrisant, His mother set him up with one of the other noble family's daughter. She was a decent girl to be sure. But they both lost interest in each other. Mainly because of Tomas's NEETness and his unwillingness to discuss anything but heroic literature.

>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
Once again When Rashad was known at Tomas. His mother insisted that he do something physical so he didn't waste away nose deep in a tome.

Cleverly, His mother impressed upon him that he'd have a greater apperication of the heroes in his books if he knew something about swordplay. Sadly all the more regal fencing instructors were booked solid with the other families. So they settled for a former mercenary from the Desert.

Teaching him the ways of the saber and scimitar. Plus wrestling, boxing, and other forms of combat.

>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?

while deciding to reinvent himself, he took the basis of his training as a stepping stone for his image. He took a half imagined look modeled off his tutor and some art he saw in some foreign novels.

He made the outfit himself.

>Does your OC have/want children?
He has no children that he knows of, but it's conceivable that he has a bastard or two. The idea does sometimes trouble him, on the rare occasions that he's thoughtful. He does want children, but has no clear plans.

>What was your OCs first fling like?
His first serious relationship was with an older Imperial noblewoman in Nuln who he was infatuated with. Unfortunately she was rather taken with him as well, and became intolerably controlling. Antonio escaped and admitted the affair to her husband, who was quite angry...because he already knew, and Antonio's "secret" tryst actually gave him time away from his annoying wife.

>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
Antonio was trained in combat at a military academy (which he was expelled from) and at an Estalian dueling school (which he got bored and left). The rest of his combat prowess has been through practical experience.

>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?
Estalian diestros rarely wear armor at all, so it took some hard knocks for Antonio to concede to wearing anything heavier than well-cut fabrics. Today he dons leathers and a breastplate, which give protection but allow for free movement. He still won't deign to set aside his cavalier's hat for a more practical helmet.

Dude I wanna play in your game so bad I love when you're here.

Sadly Rashad is just a character i have in my Stable.

A group of characters i build and come up with whenever we have a one shot or something.

I know that feel all too well.

When your OC was growing up, did they do their chores? What were they and did they contribute to your character?

>When your OC was growing up, did they do their chores? What were they and did they contribute to your character?

Antonio is technically the son of a nobleman, so 'chores' were the purview of maids and manservants. His father was strict on the matter of his studies, and a young Antonio frequently found new and creative ways to shirk, often encouraging Esteban to do likewise (and generally failing).

In the academy, Antonio would often perform assigned chores in ways that were deliberately a misinterpretation of what the instructors wanted, resulting in additional chores but a good laugh. When punishments became a group affair for Antonio's monkeyshines, he kicked the habit of shirking.

Reposting on a proper goddamn computer.

Name: Coram of House Agather.

•Role(s): wizard slayer by circumstance, templar by trade, healer by choice, lord protector of a small kingdom due to love.

•Goals: Toss all of this goddamn clusterfuck and retire somewhere quiet, as unlikely as that is. Failing that whip the realm into shape, and bring back the woman that died for him. Curing the goddamn vampirism would help.

•Traits: Generous, hospitable and friendly to strangers and allies, sharp-tongued and grumpy at friends, lethally disappointed in enemies.

• Flaws: Perpetually disappointed at himself and the world, can't handle people outside of a military or official settings all that well, can't make heads or tails of his byzantine hodgepodge of a religion despite being an ordained templar. A spiteful, easily provoked, and violent serial duelist. Showoff when permitted. Dislikes indirect solutions, even if they're demonstrably more effective.

• Allies:The party, by now more than a dozen adventurers, mercenaries, thieves, and reavers recently turned respectable. The family, excluding the two surviving brothers. A huge panoply of unsavoury contacts overseas. A handful of mercenary captains from the bad old days.

• Enemies: the entire cult of Dagon. The sea and everything in it. Meddling clerics, particularly of Mitra, that romance novelist of a god. A long list of cultists, warlocks, and sorcerers. Dad. Two brothers.

• Other Relations: He's very fond of (to the point of infatuation) of his confessor/lie detector/magistrate/swiss army cleric, as well as his fencing master. Wife, former party thief and assassin, now stolen away due to sorcery.

• Physical Description: Shaven-headed, tattooed brute with the poise and grace of a brick shithouse. Recently suffering from cosmetic defects typical of his new state of being: bits of missing skin and curved fangs. Thankfully, his sect is big on masks.

>Sue score
13, fucking vampirism

That's a really good answer.

13 is good, isn't it? I thought the single digits and the super high double digits were the "uh oh" ground.

Yeah, I'm commenting on the whole vampire thing contributing to more clicks than everything else put together.

>Does your OC have/want children?
Nope.
>What was your OCs first fling like?
Throw Kender very good, fly least 10 yards.
>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
Gruelingly trained for blood sport
>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?
It help stop pointies

>Name:
Georgiana "Georgie" Presch

>Role:
Team mom and cheerleader, party face

>Goals:
Do right by her dad, who passed away from injuries sustained saving Georgie, her sister, and her mother from a housefire. Fire resistance doesn't save you from smoke inhalation!

Her father had been a local hero, known for his dedication to the church and pushing back a horde of fiends that had tried to take the town. She carries his hammer and conviction in memory of him.

>Traits:
Charming, sweet, and kind-hearted. Lives to see the world and be loved. Adorkable!

>Flaws:
Forgetful, sometimes needs to be reminded to send letters home and let her family know she is out there and kicking ass.

>Other Relations:
Georgie's twin sister, Sarialle
Her mother, Chianna

Georgie sends money given to her from rewards to her family back home to help pay for their boarding while the house is rebuilt.

1. Yes!
2. Romantic, yet forgettable.
3. Her dad taught her basic self-defense, she's had to make a bit up along the way.
4. It's practical but still stylish.

>When your OC was growing up, did they do their chores? What were they and did they contribute to your character?

Yes, he was send to a military order at a young age to wait out a feud his family was involved in at the time. The novitiate involved doing all the things that novices and recruits do in those kinds of organizations: cleaning, kitchen duty, armour and weapon maintenance, squiring for knights, and so on. After that it was a tour of duty in the militia, and the same things again as he learned his military skills.
As a result he's a grunt's grunt who happens to wear the plate of a knight rather than the typical noble twit, and he generally thinks of the 'western' knight (as in 'typical of the lands to the west of his homeland') with disdain.

>Does your OC have/want children?
No and yes, though they'd be half-elven under the circumstances, which makes him mildly uneasy.

>What was your OCs first fling like?
Puppy love between a military order initiate and a priestess at the barracks chapel. Has had a thing for nuns and priestesses ever since.

>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
In two styles: the typical knightly arts of battle and joust in his order, and a more brutish, quicker street style of fencing for self defense and the duel from a private instructor. He's still friends with that instructor.

>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?
Because that's the type of armour a knight of his order wears into battle. He's particualry fond of the traditional faceplate, and commissioned an exaggerated, sneering demoniac variant for himself. It's better to run the enemy off the field with the first charge than to have to kill them in pitched battle, and an assault by what appears to be demons made of iron is a good psychological tool. He uses smoke, alchemical grenades, and firearms (which are uncommon in the setting) to enhance the effect.

top fucking image use lol

Thought you guys might be interested in Rashad's Sheet.

I've basically statted him as an Aldori Swordlord, with crane Style to bolster his defense. He'll actually be nearly untouchable once he hits level 11.

>Does your OC have/want children?
Back while acting as a priestess for the cult of Shub-Niggurath Lo had three children with various cult members. She left them behind when she took her oath as a paladiness but still writes to them now and then.

>What was your OCs first fling like?
Lo's first relationship was with the father of her first child, the high priest of the cult. Relationships within her coven were fairly casual and open, not all too different from close friendships. The high priest doesn't particularly approve of Lo's views on the Black Goat and they have not been in contact.

>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
Studying to be a warrior of the cult was how Lo began training in combat. However after she struck out on her own she honed her abilities as a paladin through practice and adventure.

>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?
The followers of Shub-Niggurath have similar practices for armor as many druids, Lo's armor is made of leather and hide, no metal materials aside from her weaponry. It's decorated in the holy stylings of the followers of Shub-Niggurath, and is pretty much a more protective and less revealing modification on the robes worn by priestesses.

>Does your OC have/want children?
Yeah, he has a daughter, Cordelia, she's six months old. He didn't want children for a while, because he had no intention to stop adventuring, although his wife has since convinced him otherwise.
>What was your OCs first doing like?
Short and fast with a nymph. He didn't know it was a fling, though.
>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
No, he was training to be a healer at the local church. He's still awful with a weapon, and uses his spear as a walking stick more often.
>Why do they wear the style of armor they do?
He goes armorless for two reasons. One, flight is more difficult in heavy armors, so he keeps a low equip load. Second, he has a vow of poverty, and has forsaken most material wealth. He needs no armor when he is defended by his faith.

• Name: Axel Highblaze

• Role(s): Firstborn of the House Highblaze, the Dragon, Disgraced Exile, Lancer, Paladin of Bahamut

• Goals: To return to Sossal, kill his traitorous half-uncle and cousin, and reunite with his betrothed.

• Traits: Honorable, brave, and loyal to a fault.

• Flaws: Lecherous, has an extremely short temper, especially when someone violates Sossal's taboos, of which nobody knows. Also doesn't seem to understand what is personal space.

• Allies: His retinue of Knights and Squires sworn to House Highblaze. Also, other Paladins of Bahamut.

• Enemies: His half-uncle, who orchestrated the death of Axel's father and accused Axel of cowardice in face of the enemy and desertion. His cousin and former best friend helped corroborate the charges.

• Other Relations: Axel's mother and twin sisters are still back in Sossal. His mother secluded herself after the twin shock of having her husband dead and her son charged and exiled for the crime. His sisters, Eva and Maya, are the strongest mages Sossal seen in centuries and are therefore prevented from leaving their studies to look for their brother.

• Physical Description: Well-built, tall, a long braid in platinum white with shaved sides, gray-blue eyes. Appears mostly silent but that's only because he still doesn't grasp Commons well enough for an articulate conversation

>Name:
Pietro Lorath

>Roles:
Privateer captain, musician, duelist.

>Goals:
Fame, fortune, and an undying legacy.

>Traits:
Charming, generally open to new things, non-judgmental, sharp wit, good swordsman & bard.

>Flaws:
Selfish, manipulative, thrill-seeking, and sometimes short-sighted, alcoholic.

>Other Relations
A whorehouse where he spent most of his childhood.

His crew; First mate "Jumbo" Zonzaro

His father, a House Lyrandar member, who is partly responsible for Pietro's station as a way of keeping him quiet.
>Does your OC have/want children.

He wants to have a child across every nation, his name spread across the world. This is of course a childish and irresponsible notion.

>What was your OC's first fling like?
Drunken and clumsy, and maybe a little patronizing.

>Did your OC train in combat or learn it some other way?
He received rudimentary training to serve on a ship, and received better training after accumulating some wealth of his own to find a teacher.

>Why does your OC wear the armor they do?
Half for practical reasons (hides the wine stains), half because it's ostentatious as hell.

>Does your OC have/want children?
Sossal nobility emphasize the importance of bloodlines. He knows as part of his duties as the Firstborn of the House, he needs an heir as soon as possible in order to prevent his House from dying out or folded into other Houses.

>What was your OCs first doing like?
With his sisters' governess. He spent most of his childhood among his household knights and soldiers, who were more like rowdy uncles and willing to teach him on being a man.

>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
As one of the Knight Houses of Sossal, House Highblaze has held the role of Grand Marshall of Sossal since the founding of Sossal. From age 8, Axel has been schooled in the Art of War and combat. Proficient from longswords, to polearms and warhammers, Axel prefers to wield the Glaive in most situations, switching over to his longsword in tight spaces.

>Why do they wear the style of armor they do?
His armor is Dragonscaled Plate Armor, relics from an age when Sossals were warrior-servants for the Dragon-Lords. Only the Drakenguard and sons of House Highblaze have access of this armor. Of course, being exiled, Axel's personal armor was confiscated and placed into his family's armory, awaiting it's owner's return.

Name: Rodrick Durand
Role(s): First man into battle, last man out of battle, group dad, foxy grandpa
Goals: To die a warrior's death a thousand times in order to finally rest eternally
Traits: Overly fatherly and protective of his teammates, has a pet kitten that he carries around with him that he's nursed back to health. He named the kitten "Melina" after his daughter, who he had to watch grow old and die.
Flaws: His casualness about death causes him to not think before he acts at times, tends to be overprotective of the people he calls his teammates
Allies: Melina the Kitten
Enemies: Witches. He doesn't trust 'em. Or anyone else who fiddles with dark magic for that matter.
Other Relations: Many friends he's made over the centuries who he's seen die
Physical Description: A gaunt pale face with an eye patch and a scarf to cover the lower half with a chaimail hood. In towns he wears a full helmet and tells anyone who asks about his pale skin that it's just a skin condition.

Rodrick was a soldier of an ancient civilization who abandoned the battlefield in a war that ultimately caused the destruction of his entire kingdom. While on the run, a powerful witch loyal to the king of their country caught him and damned him for his cowardice, telling him he should have died with honor defending his kingdom then being a worm who lives another day. The witch placed a terrible curse on Rodrick that day, a curse of undeath. Rodrick was doomed to never rest until he would achieve a warrior's death. Not just his own though, but for every man who died on the battlefield that day protecting their nation and ruler. He must die a thousand warrior's deaths before he may know peace, and so far he's only up to 417

Is this primarily for fantasy characters? Trying to get more structure for my /qst/ character I'm trying to create.

I'd say in general quest thread character should belong in quest threads. These are all characters made for roleplaying, as in a system, sure some of them might not found a group but are made and discussed here to improve before actually playing them.

Oh and don't mind my beyond retarded capability to write any language that comes naturally to someone who sucks cock everyday.

My point is, keep /qst/ in /qst/. But if you are talking of other stuff than fantasy characters for in roleplaying use, I'd love to see more shadowrun characters or anything beyond dnd/pathfinder fantasy!

It's not fantasy only at all. We've had Shadowrun, Cyberpunk, Modern, World of Darkness, and everything in between. So long as it is an OC and you put thought into it/want to improve the concept it fits the threads goal.

I like this

Name: Diederick “Pilgrim Wander” Khonrovich Wanderwaste

•Role(s): Peasant by birth, Crusader by duty, Pilgrim by excommunication. And the best damn tank I’ve ever rolled up.

•Goals: Since one healed his mother when he was a child, he has aspired to being a paladin eventually taking him down the path of a crusader.

•Traits: superstitious, zealous, bold, resolute in the face of danger. And a level 10 Crusader

• Flaws: he doesn’t actually know what it takes to be a paladin, and will never achieve his goal. He is blindingly faithful to the point where he is close minded and racist against monstrous races. He cannot swim and has a fear of water deeper than a foot. He’s also a manlet.

• Allies: our adventuring party of which only one other person has drawn up characters so far… so uh an unnamed wizard of dubious origins and two others.

• Enemies: he was excommunicated by the church of northern orthodoxy after he attempted to rise above his station in the fall of the crusade. While he is still loyal to them he is a damn dirty peasant in their eyes who has stolen items from the late lord commander. He despise all orcs as the crusade was against and destroyed by a horde of them. and during our upcoming campaign legions of undead and their dark master.

• Other Relations: his mother and numerous siblings live with his aunt and uncle on a peasant wheat farm in his homeland to the north. Like everyone they live in squalor. He carries a vial of salt with him taken from the salt mine his father died in. and he has a huge crush on the paladin who saved his mother despite the fact he never saw her again.

• Physical Description: 5’7” of pretty solid muscle, thanks to his encounter with the paladin he has had remarkable good health his entire 19 years. His hair, thin beard and eyes are brown. He speaks in a vaguely eastern European accent.

>Does your OC have/want children?
Pilgrim Wander grew up in a family of twenty plus people, if he finds a wife they would be swamped with children.
>What was your OCs first fling like?
Does dreaming about a woman you’ve met once for the next eleven years of your life count as a fling? Well he’s spent the rest of his life trying to follow her example and has traveled south to find her.
>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
He received training in the Pelor’s Militant Militia of the People, two years before he joined the 4th Crusade of Northern Orthodoxy where he saw his first taste of true combat.
>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?
When the Crusade was annihilated by the Orcs, Pilgrim Wander took up the arms and armor of the slain Lord Commander to rally the remaining troops resulting ultimately in the survivors repelling the orcs, as the cost of his excommunication by the church of Northern Orthodoxy and his Pilgrimage south. He refuses to return the Commander’s armor, sash, shield, and signet ring and claims that as long as he lives the crusade continues.

>cannot swim & is afraid of water
I love this little quirk. Honestly that's a rational fear for someone in 60+ lbs of armor.

Lads, I need a motivation to leave your home and go out on adventure.

I'm keeping it vague because I am in a massive brainfart, and could be swayed by something as simple as "he's vying for the love of a lady."

He is either going to be a majestically maned lion bro or a tough badass woof-man. I know you guys get a kick out of non-human husbandos, so now's your chance to help me build something.

the father of your love interest will not let you marry untill you bring him the greatest wonder of the world.

If you guys want art drawn of your characters, I'm taking commissions over at theporkdungeon.tumblr.com

• Name: Jeremiah “Jerry” Tiller, the Patchwork Paladin.

• Role(s): The Party tank, Healer and Smiter of Evil.

• Goals: Kill the dudes trying to unseal the bigass world-ending demon into the world. Said people killed one of his older sisters, the first to try and stop them. She failed in her quest and was slain.

• Traits: Friendly, Brave, Loyal, and Kind.

• Flaws: Jerry isn’t the brightest kid. And he gets seasick, airsick, is afraid of giant spiders, and knows absolutely nothing outside his farming village. He was also bullied, and is the youngest, so he tends to shy away from confrontation, especially party confrontation.

• Allies: His True Companions Party. A disturbed undine Druid, An angry Oni sorcerer, an apathetic Oni summoner, and the snarky, sarcastic Kineticist from Not!Austrailia. All of them are women. He thought he was through being bossed around.

• Enemies: These assholes trying to destroy the world. And the butcher’s boy. That guy is an asshole.

• Other Relations: His family. Dad fought in the war, mom is the town cleric. And he has 8 older sisters and 2 older brothers. All of whom were more accomplished than he before this shitshow started off. Also his village is proud of him, commanding the powers of the Goddess of protection like that, and helping to save the town when the normal heroes were away.

• Physical Description: Tall, and well muscled from a lifetime of farm work. Blonde hair, blue eyes, good looking in that farm boy way. He wears his dad’s old armour, and uses his old sword and shield. His mom knitted him his tabard, and one of his sisters painted the symbol of the Goddess of protection on his shield. Has patches all over his clothes from general clumsiness, and getting the shit kicked out of him on a regular basis.

Lionbro doesn't need pansy ass reasons to leave home. Wine, women, and wealth is what he seeks. And home is terribly boring.

The blade's hilt is black with the pommel of a crescent moon and the in the center of the cross guard a side profile of a wolf howling with a red gem for an eye

>OC Development Questions:
>Does your OC have/want children?
Kaiger wants to have kids eventually but he's still young.
>What was your OCs first fling like?
He hasn't been a relationship yet. He had an awkward first kiss and started avoiding the girl like the plague out of fear.
>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
Kaiger learned the basics of self-defense(how to throw a proper punch) from his mother,He learned how to wield weapons when elders took him on hunts but he learned to harness his strength and rage from an Ogrillon girl that he would hunt with.
>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?
He originally only wore plain clothes because he thought armor would slow him down. After an encounter with some zombies and a near death experience, the Dragon Bard told him that he needs to invest in armor because Kaiger's not as tough as he thinks he is. So he started wearing and chainmail. One dead dragon later, he has dragon scale armor.

>Traits
Jasper is a disciplined soldier, he enjoys inventing things and learning about the natural world. He can be very stoic and is something of a futurist.
>Flaws
Doesn't know when to hold back, has trouble sleeping soundly, and can be very fatalistic sometimes.
>Allies
The other members of the count's elite task force.
>Enemies
Has no noteworthy adversaries at this time.
>Other Relations
Jasper's brother Lucas was a magical savant until he was mistaken for Jasper and killed in his sleep by a wounded soldier from the battle the day before which Jasper had fought in.

Jasper would like to have children so carry his lineage into the future. His first fling was with a nice girl from the village he grew up in. Jasper was originally self taught but he and his brothers scientific experiments caught the attention of an order of warrior scholars who trained him from adolescence. He wears a suit of red plate mail of his own design that has been altered to allow for more streamlined movement.

As a child his chores were to gather bait for his father to fish and help his mom to cook

Keth helped around the shop when he was younger, but started volunteering at the church while he was very young. Volunteering at the church instilled a sense of responsibility and a care for others.

Which OCs would make the most interesting party?

Oh lawdy

Isara, Cata, Charlotte, Naeva, and Frankie no doubt.

Moras, Rodrick, Axel, Coram, Harald
For the husbando party who can unite against their prejudice and kick some major ass.

Georgie, Cata, Luvos, Thug, and Frankie

Antonio de Torres,Rashad, and Pietro Lorath for Team Fuckbois

Reposting.
>Name
Luvos Nichto
>Role
Planar Diplomat, Demon Enthusiast
>Goals
To remain on the forefront of knowledge, exploration, and change. Luvos is in the process of writing a series of encyclopedias of planar knowledge. To inspire awe and terror in his wizarding peers.
>Traits
Luvos has little respect for conventions. He enjoys the fleeting nature of comprehension and knowledge and more enjoys the hunt for knowledge itself.
>Flaws
In addition to having little respect for tradition, Luvos is known to overlook most moral stipulations of his comrades. He has picked up the habit of introducing himself in fancier and fancier nonsensical titles. He believes he is the smartest person in any room but that everyone seems to know something he doesn't.
>Allies
A animated foot stool with the personality of a terrier and a clumsy broomstick.

>mfw I have OCs in both of those :3

keep up the good work then bro

Pls forgive me for taking this off-topic.

To the drawfriend who made OPs char, do you have moar in that kind fo armor? it fits perfect in my wordlbuilding

That's lemon, go find his dA account, l3mon-juice or something like that.

thank you user

Describe the routine of a normal day for your character. How does he/she feel when this routine is disrupted?

Get up, put in some fencing practice, wash, get dressed, curse at having to wear anything other than field clothes, blame elves, go through the castle kitchen on the way to the war room, learn what the elves and dwarves and kobolds and men fucked up today, fix it, pine for simpler days.

a lot of my house leo stuff is years old though.

Aw, I almost had it right.

What's up, man?!

Game soon, hopefully.
• Name: Siyakhir
• Role(s): Ace pilot, brawler, gambler, drunkard, duelist.
• Goals: Steal a ship, raid for money, fight, drink, and gamble his way back to the pride. Challenge Dad for leadership.
• Traits: Gregarious, loyal, boastful, proud.
• Flaws: Easily provoked, little self control or discipline, boasts constantly, LOUD.
• Allies: The crew and not a lot of others.
• Enemies: Dad, fuck him for disowning the guy. Space Tigers, fuck those dudes in general. Law enforcement, stop trying to fuck with the guy.
• Other Relations: A handful of friends in the pride, mostly drinking, gambling, and fighting buddies.

yeah I already found you thanks to the other user, I really like your style. God speed amigo

Wake up, study spells that will see some use later, feed the stool, banish any demons still lingering in the study, brew tea, catch up on current events in scrying orb, walk the stool through the library, spend the rest of the morning gathering ingredients for the different summoning rituals he'll perform that day, have lunch, spend the afternoon to evening interviewing demons, elementals, and angels and taking notes, try to pound out a chapter of one encyclopedia, spend the whole night making succubi whisper into his ears instead, get nothing done, curse his peers for driving him away, fall asleep at desk

That laurel-cheekguard combo looks painful.

building a new faction in the house leo universe based on these guys.

I don't know who these two are but I love them.

That's badass.

While you're here, I wanted to know if your commissions are open. If so, what do they run for a single black and white character?

Wizard one is

$35 for something more refined than the foot knight on the left. prices are negotiable though.

Wakes up, makes sure that the warlock didn't burn down the camp while he was smoking, bathe if possible, goes hunting with his hellhound for breakfeast, have one of the party members cook his food, and go over the current plan the party has. The only part of the routine that he feels is necessary is bathing and going over what the party's doing. Someone will be bound to forget something important if they don't.

>Does your OC have/want children?
Of course, and lots of them!
>What was your OCs first fling like?
A superior officer's daughter. His life went downhill from there.
>Did your OC train in combat, or learn it some other way?
Space combat in his pride's naval academy. Personal in one of the dueling societies that sprung up around it. He still has the HF sabre that the members presented him upon graduation, and uses it often. Mostly because it ROARS.
>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?
Armour? Armour is for infantry and marines. You know, peons.

is

That's not too bad, I can probably swing that. Is your e-mai on dA or something?

send me a note on dA

>Why do they wear the armor style that they do?
The Vest of the Archmagi and robes of the Mad Archmage provide some of the best protection in the land, along with the utmost utilities. Also they look pretty cool.

Sick character, would totally try to turn into an apprentice but ultimately get wrecked by in a poetic fashion.

What game is this character for?

D&D 3.5 we started at level 1 and have just made it to level 19. I also party with .

That's pretty righteous, dude. I imagine there's a lot of time for a character to develop a voice with a campaign that long.

Despite having the power to alter the cosmos itself. My wizard still sound a young and pathetic as the day he started.

All wizards should be at least a bit pathetic it's part of the appeal.

How do I make character names that don't sound totally stupid, and how do I make flawed but believeable characters that aren't copies of existing characters?

Names are tough, things that sound dumb for some people sound cool to others.

For characters, think of something you want to play and then just think of how did he become the way he is. This helps me alot for fleshing my characters: miniworld.com/adnd/100ThingsAboutUrPCBackGround.html

He just sound pathetic...and has the social back bone of a chocolate elcair. Ok so hes a bit pathetic.

Imagine how their native language sounds like. Find a list of names from a similar rl one. Pick a name, alter it a bit, play the damn game.

Well thats looks very helpful.

Well at least he can rest easy knowing he has the powers of a god.

That's hardly helped him, he has literally died more times then the entire party combined. Almost all of them are from failed fort savesm

As characters outlines go, how is one who has a constant attraction to children that he's horrified by and constantly practices at fighting and trying to become the best (whatever class I make him) to distract himself from his inner urges?

I am new at this and has never done tg rpgs before so the following character is a character i want to make as my first. Please r8

Name: Sir Robert Bridge

Role: Fighter, I guess. Someone who wears heavy-ish armor with a sword and shield

Goal: To realize his childhood dream to become an adventurer

Traits: Robert is a middle aged man with plenty of experiences during his time as a cop. Does what he thinks is right, but in an old fashioned sort of way, willing to do what is necessary. From his time as a cop, Robert distrusts bureaucracy and red tape, and criminal activity. Has very light tan, dark hair with streaks of gray, and clean shaven but with rough stubbles.

Robert spent his childhood as an impoverished street urchin in an orphanage. At the age of 17, a year after his best friend Zaid left the city out of wanderlust and a desire from freedom against poverty, war broke out. Robert joined the military, and served 5 years. During that time, by circumstance he was able to rescue the king's son life from a burning bridge. As a reward, the prince knighted him and granted a very small handful of acres of land outside the city he lived in. At the age of 23, shortly after the war, Robert joined the City Guard and was a cop a little over 20 years, the last four of those years as the Captain of the Guard. He spent some months in contemplation after his retirement, and because of his regret for never following Zaid, Robert decided to become an adventurer. At the age of 45, it has been almost a year since he left, doing mostly caravan mercenary work and running errands.

Around the time he joined the Guard, Robert got married, and from that marriage were three children, Samuel(who manages the family inn after Robert left and is engaged to one of the daughters to the lord of the city), Elizabeth(currently 19 apprenticed to a wizard in a tower at 17), and Axelrod(currently 15 became a squire to a knight errant at 14). Robert regularly exchanges letters with his family.

Well you don't become a master of the arcane without dying a few times.

I'd go on adventures with him, user

I second this guys notion . Your character sound very throughout better rush job I did for my characters back story.

True very true. But despite his death toll Zaniel is my favorite character to play hands down. Even if I'm the only lawful player of chaotic fucks.

Better then the rush job.

Well my wizard is technically chaotic evil so I can't complain in that department.

Aren't most? God hood is a hell of a drug.

Godhood, a decade of isolation in a giant library, and countless hours spent consorting with demons doesn't do the soul any favors. That's okay though because that soul is going in a phylactery eventually anyways.

A yes immortality a classic goal for wizards everywhere. Funny enough my character actually started out with eternal life.
Im playing a arcane verson of the Elan race. All because my DM didn't want me to play a Faerûn race.

Well?
