I'm waiting for one of my other coins to finish mooning then I'm all in. Anyone who gets into this coin before it starts being used in the real world will be rich as fuck.

any news this month or jan 2018?

>funfair
>not a shitcoin
I have researched this coin extensively and I still have not found anything that leads me to believe it will be successful. Think about what customer base dominates online gambling. Do you really think they are going to use this? Absolutely not.

People simply think this is another Edgeless.

If they manage to attract operators and players (can't imagine them failing at it) this coin will get huge.

Best thing is they don't hype every fart a developer has. They just announce shit when it's ready. Frustrates a lot of folks but I prefer the approach, less pump and dumping.

>More and more gambling moving to online casinos
>Click button set up for trustless online casinos by literally anyone legally able to do so
>Any casino not using it will be suspected of being unfair to players
>CEO has 20 years in the gambling industry and as a result many connections in said industry
>>>>>>>shitcoin

I already have CSNO the superiour gambling shitcoin.

I am curious what leads you to believe that they won't. Am interested in your views why they will not manage to.

Not to tell you you're wrong but to counter the shill arguments.

Very likely there will be another company update this month. Jez has stated "very soon".

Q1 is planned launch so expect things to really get interesting around March/April.

Sitting at 6k FUNFAIR feeling COMFY AF

>>>>> The rich becomes richer

>gen x’ers/boomers are gonna use anything other than the biggest most widely known online site they can find
>they make up the lions share of expenditure
>the house will always want to win
It is an incredibly high risk scenario at best, either it completely turns the entire market on its head or it will fade in obscurity. Big casinos won’t adopt for fear of losing the house advantage. Old people couldnt care less about the verification. Also due to the innate nature of the industry , it is in the companies best interest to keep the value of the coin low and round - like $1. Just like people aren’t going to understand why they are purchasing and using .00023451 of a bitcoin, they won’t understand the same concept applied to gambling.

>Coin logo and practical use designed to attract gamblers.
>Majority of userbase will be gamblers looking to make a quick buck.
>Impatient sellers who are day trading your shitcoin.
>Pumps and Dumps till death

oh I get it now. You're an idiot

Nice argument dipshit, I am open to rebuttal

>Big casinos won’t adopt for fear of losing the house advantage.

And eventually people will start to question why these big casinos aren't adopting platforms that mean the player can't get ripped off. It's not like FunFair will stay a hidden secret forever, eventually people are going to learn about it. It will become survival of the fittest, any casino who doesn't adopt technology like this will simply be seen as shady. Any online casino can paint the token however they want if they plug into the FunFair platform (most front ends will just use fiat for the gambling and run on the FunFair blockchain behind it to ensure trustless gambling) so the user experience doesn't change, and all they need to know is "this casino isn't fucking me over". Everyone knows, even boomers, that casinos are always shady. If they can be convinced "this website won't screw you over" without needing to go into the nitty gritty of what a blockchain is, then that's all you need.

The target audience / market penetration argument is valid and hard to argue against expect from "I believe/think/hope".

Casinos can however choose to display the USD equivalent of the FUN holdings for non-crypto-savy players. The token price having to be round and what not I cannot agree with. (I would also he quiet happy with $1 FUN anyways).

Only issue with displaying USD value and hiding FUN tokens for the average player is the exchange rate fluctuation during a session, but I expect it to be relatively minor once adoption is growing. Casinos can decide to compensate for losses due to exchange rate, and keep wins, so it evens out.

Most likely the first operators to get on board will he oriented at crypto gamblers anyway.

people arent using the coin to gamble you fucking idiot

theyre gonna be betting in USD and FUN tokens are used in the background and converted back into USD before the better even knows it.

what customers gonna use doesnt matter the question is if casoino operators are gonna use it

this guy did it for me, thanks user

Well I'll be damned, this is what female pajeets look like

>”you aren’t actually using the fun tokens you are using the fiat which converts to fun and then back to fiat to display x y z”
>muh semantics
Wow bruh u sure showed me

Already made 100% on FUN so far, got in early. fuck yes free money this coin is gonna be huge

I can’t imagine somebody using this service specifically for its transparency and at the same time blatantly disregarding how open to abuse this specific attribute is. The people that know will see it as shady, and the people that won’t care will not be likely to use a transparency based service anyway. You are putting a lot of power in the casino to do the right thing, in a process that cannot be explained cleanly.

STOP POSTING THIS IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE A SECRET you faggot

The "customers" are the casino operators, only they handle FUN tokens, the gamblers play as usual with their regular fiat money. It will also put pressure on casinos who try pulling off things like this: abc.net.au/news/2017-10-18/crown-casino-poker-machine-allegations-tabled-andrew-wilkie/9056964

What is the limit for this coin? I can't see it getting past $1. Still good, since it's 30x it's current price, but is there more potential over that?

That might be true but is an issue that every cryptocasino will face.

If there is no way to display fiat and maintain value crypto casinos will never succeed with the mainstream right?

Funfair will moon. Stop making threads about it.
OP, you have no obligation to make biz tards money.
Just wait for 2018 and ignore the price in the mean time

Seriously. Delete this thread

The same could be said about bitcoin being used for payment, yet retards here still think Amazon accepting it is a good idea

...

no user, no it is not

This. DELETE NOW OP

You're obviously a shill if you think OP can delete this thread now.
Anyway I have been following this coin extensively, lost a lot of money on it too when I held it during the alt market crash. It had a lot of good sentiment due to various events yet it STILL never went up in price and kept underperforming past few months. You can't trust people who can't into marketing.

They have marketed. Incredibly well amongst the ethereum Dev community.
Don't lie about doing "research".
Speak to the development team directly and find out. Jez responds to literally everyone

It;'s ineffective marketing. And I did do research. You want proof? Look at the charts, good alts recovered a while ago, this piece of shit kept going down.

You are not the target audience.

Casino operators are.

This project doesn't market to "investors". Fine if you don't like that but don't call it a shitcoin.

Its 3x ICO price so it's not like you couldn't have made money if you didn't get in during ATH.

Your research as to if it's a good investment is "it hasn't gone up and some other coins did".
Haha. What did you think of the white paper and how supply/demand will be affected in Q1? Oh wait you didn't read it.

>LBiz/ traders

FUCK YOU OP FUCK YOU OP FUCK YOU OP

THIS IS A SECRET!!!!

ASSHOLE!!

The fun fair team don't give a shit what the token price is right now, hence no marketing to regular people like me and you. They ran an ICO to raise funds to support development. That's the only reason us regular people can even buy the tokens right now.

by posting this, all pajeets took 10min fap break.
the ultimate Veeky Forums trapcard

I already called you out on being a shill, you obviously seem new to Veeky Forums. If you believe in your shittoken so much why are you trying so hard to fit in here and prove something, guy from funfair team?

lol mad. if you've identified it as such, why bother?

kid doesn't even fit in on Veeky Forums

I'm still keking at your research probably being
>open coin market cap this morning
>See funfair down 3%
>See iota up 80%
>OMG IOTA UP MORE IN LAST 24 HOURS BETTER LONG TERM INVESTMENT FOR % GAINS THAN FUNFAIR

You missed IOTA bro. Lots of us did. The best you can do is accept it and move on. Don't buy at an 80% spike on a 7billion market cap coin.
It happens to the best of us. The chances of you picking the *best* investment for quickest game is slim. Play the game sensibly and take guaranteed 10x gains in 3 months.
If you're feeling bad and want to talk about it, we're all here for you
