>>Information

This quest, as the title suggests, takes place in the world of Dragon Ball. You're playing as a thirteen year old boy named Tofoo, and will adventure through the story of the Dragonball series alongside characters such as Goku, Yamcha, Bulma, Tien, and many others. Through your actions, you can make significant changes to the story, and perhaps even become the strongest fighter on Earth.

>Rules

At the end of each update you'll have ten minutes to vote on options. Write-ins are allowed, but I do reserve the right to veto them.

In the event of a draw, the option to receive the next vote wins

Rolls will be used on certain occasions, such as attempting a technique for the first time or attempting something extremely difficult. You will have three rolls, and if one succeeds, you succeed. There are no crits.

Rolls are made AFTER an option wins, not during the voting process

I hope everyone has fun.

Fuck yeah!

"Thank you," you tell Bulma.

"No problem," she says, sounding a bit bummed about having to give up finding the Dragonball for now, but still sounding sincere.

"Very well, then," Baba says, hopping off her crystal ball and waving her arms around it.

The orb begins to glow.

"Crystal ball, shining and round, show Tofoo's parents, wherever they're found!" the old woman commands.

The glow of the ball becomes more intense, and an image begins to appear.

You see two people, a man and a woman, sitting side by side in front of a creek, looking very similar to the one near your home. They talk to one another, skipping stones and looking quite happy.

They look younger than you remember, but you definitely recognize them.

Your mom and dad.

For a moment, you feel a bit light-headed, your heart beats faster, and you feel the tears returning to your eyes.

"Where are they?" you ask Baba.

"Otherworld," Baba answers. "Specifically, heaven."

"Heaven looks a lot like the forest," Goku comments.

Baba chuckles. "Heaven is a very large place, and it's made to be a paradise for all its inhabitants."

"Paradise it is," Gohan agrees. "Though, I spend a lot of my time on the beach."

Krillin comes over to your side. "So, those are your parents?"

"Say something," Bulma encourages, coming to stand at your other side.

Take your DBZ autism to the correct board.

"Mom?" you call out. "Dad?"

The two of them freeze, looking around for the source of the voice that's just spoken to them.

Your mother's the first to spot you, and her entire body goes stiff. She reaches over and smacks your father on the arm, pointing in your direction.

"Tofoo?" he asks.

"Tofoo?" your mom asks, tears beginning to flow. "Is that really you?"

"Who?" your mother asks.

"Nevermind that," your dad says. "Tofoo, thank Kami you're alive. When I wound up here, and then your mother....I was worried you wouldn't be able to make it on your own."

"Tofoo, what have you been doing?" your mother asks. "Who are those people with you?"

Somehow I don't think our parents wanted to spend our time fighting and killing people. They might be proud of us, but not 'happy'

>B. Introduce your friends
>>C. Tell them you've been fine

>We need to ask about reviving them at some point.
Uh oh. There miiight be a slight kink in that plan.

"They're my friends," you tell your mother. "This is Bulma, that's Krillin, and that's Goku."

"Hi!" Goku says cheerfully.

"Nice to meet you," Bulma says sweetly.

"Yeah," Krillin agrees.

"You too," your father says. "Tofoo, how did you meet these two?"

You give your parents a brief rundown on what you've been doing since they died; how you lived on your own for years, until you met Bulma and Goku, and joined them on a journey to find the Dragonballs. You tell them about your adventures, and how you became a martial artist and competed in the world tournament.

"Magic balls?" your mother asks. "Tofoo, honey, are you sure you just haven't been having some interesting dreams?"

"No, they're real!" Goku promises, pulling out his four-star ball. "See?"

"So that's what that old thing was?" Gohan asks. "I had no idea it was so important."

"You've been doing so many dangerous things," your mom says. "And having some incredible adventures."

"Second place in the World Tournament?" your dad asks. "That's my boy!"

"I miss you both so much," you tell them. "But I promise, I'm fine."

"We miss you too, son," your dad says.

"More than you know," your mom agrees. "But we're also so proud of you. And, don't take this the wrong way, but we hope we don't see you again too soon."

"Yes, son, don't worry about us," your father assures you. "Heaven is just as wonderful as you'd expect."

"We miss you, but we know we'll all be together again," your mother tells you. "Just, hopefully not too soon."

The tears come again. "I hope it's not too soon."

"We love you with all our hearts," your mother tells you. "And we're both so proud."

"Yeah, it sounds like you have one exciting life, and are doing some great things," your dad tells you. "We couldn't be more proud."

"I'm afraid I can't maintain the connection for much longer," Baba tells you. "So if there's anything you need to say, do it now."

Eh, I'm sure some of them are showing up to tell them.

Unless we haven't killed any innocents, and every Red Ribbon soldier we wrecked was evil.

You know it's quite possible for people to join a "conquer the world" organisation with intentions of making their village safer for their families, or to make the world a better place, or because that girl/boy they liked was already a member. I wonder how many such people we've killed.

>B. Say goodbye
>D. Thank them both for everything
And don't make any promises unless we know we can keep them.

Oh shit I'm late

Second place behind Goku more than likely.

So what happened to Black after he left? Did he decide to make his own organization or did he say fuck it and go into politics and gain power the old fashion way.

user don't be silly. It's .

"I love you both," you tell your parents. "Thank you for everything."

"We love you too," your mother tells you.

"Good luck, son," your father says. "And never give up. I'd say the last five years have proven there's nothing you can't do"

Your mother nods. "Like we always told you. There's nothing you can't accomplish."

Tears are still streaming down your face, but you manage a smile. "Goodbye."

"Goodbye," your mother tells you.

"Goodbye," your father says.

The picture disappears.

Gohan comes up behind you, placing a gentle hand on your shoulder. "I promise you, your parents are alright where they are. They're at peace now, and one day, you'll be there with them. In the meantime, you have a life to live, and people to live it with."

He turns around, walking over to his Grandson. "I was worried when I had to leave Goku behind, but he has grown into a fine, strong young man. And while I'm not with him anymore, he seems to have found a family in all of you."

Gohan looks at you. "And it seems you have found a family in all of them."

"Yeah, you're right," you tell Gohan. "Can you do me a favor?"

"Of course," Gohan tells you.

"Can you say hello to my parents for me if you ever see them?" you ask.

"Why, of course I will, my boy," Gohan assures you.

You turn to Baba. "Thank you for everything."

"Of course," the woman says with a smile.

"Well, Goku, I suppose it's time that I go back now," Gohan says, ruffling Goku's hair. "I want you to know that I'm very proud of you."

Goku smiles up at his grandfather.

"Alright, Baba, I'm ready," Gohan says. "Farewell, everyone."

Gohan slowly fades, disappearing altogether.

"Grandpa!" Goku shouts into the sky. "I promise that I'll keep getting stronger and stronger! I'll do my best to keep making you proud!"

Goku fampai you gotta work on your tail bro.

>B. Thank Bulma for letting you talk to your parents one more time

"Thanks for letting me talk to my parents one more time," you tell Bulma.

She gives a smile. "Sure thing, kid."

"Baba, can I fight to get another fortune, so Bulma can get her wish?" you ask. "I won't be needing mine after all."

"Sorry, but that was a one-time offer," Baba says. "Of course, if you have ten million zeni, I'll gladly tell you another fortune."

Bulma sighs. "Let me go stop back at Capsule Corp. I can get the money."

"Splendid," Baba tells her. "I'll be waiting here. But in about fifty minutes I'll be getting my ball waxed, so I'll be on break until seven. Just tell my servant that you've brought payment, and he'll arrange for you to stay in the guest room."

So we not wishing them back?

>E. Have Bulma leave them here
>B. Stay at Baba's palace

>E, C, the Red Ribbon Army and Pilaf seem to keep finding them. I sure we can too.

>C. Suggest finding the balls a different way
Time for some good ol' fashioned investigation.

>B. Stay at Baba's palace
>C. Suggest finding the balls a different way
>E. Have Bulma leave them here

Right. I'd say look into whatever Red Ribbon tech we can find, see if the Red Ribbon army still has any hidden bases where they might still have a dragonball, or any threads connecting to Commander Red, since no doubt he has plans to collect them.

That little blue guy, Pillowfluff or something, also was trying to find dragonballs. In fact we saw one moving along with his airship in the past, and he almost managed to jack the ballz and summon the dragon the first time. I'd say he merits an investigation as well.

Plus, if something's blocking or jamming the dragon radar, it might leave a suspicious hole in the background radiation. That might be worth looking into.

"Why don't we try a different way?" you suggest.

"Like what?" Krillin asks.

You say that the Red Ribbon Army and Emperor Pilaf have to have had their own way of finding the Dragonballs, so maybe if you can find out what those were, you can find it.

"Didn't that one guy say the Red Ribbon Army had a tracker too?" Krillin asks.

"And besides, no other device should be able to out-perform my radar," Bulma adds. "Besides, my radar isn't acting up, so it probably isn't being jammed."

>A. Maybe someone has the Dragonball and will come looking for the other

>B. Maybe the Red Ribbon Army had one and hid it

>A. Maybe someone has the Dragonball and will come looking for the other

Goku now asks if the Jam is edible

>>A. Maybe someone has the Dragonball and will come looking for the other
>C. Something else
If we defeated the red ribbon army, then emperor pilaf is the only other person you know is interested in the dorgan borz

Hey Som I just realized why not going all the way with Goku's tail is a bad thing
We need to fight Mai&Shu now

Or do you?

I'd go all the way with Mai's tail if you get what I'm implying.

>C. Something else
"What do you mean jammed? Is it something the dragon balls do that make it appear on the radar?"

"Jam?" Goku asks. "Why would somebody put that on the radar?"

"Not jam, jammed!" Bulma tells him. "It would mean someone was interfering with the radar's signal."

"Maybe someone else has the last ball," you suggest. "And maybe they'll come looking for it."

"But who?" Krillin asks. "You beat the Red Ribbon Army."

"Well, there is Pilaf," you point out.

"That stupid little goblin?" Bulma asks. "Great. Well, at least he's a lot less dangerous than the Red Ribbon Army."

>A. Point out that he did capture everyone before

>B. Point out that Goku couldn't get the last ball from him

>C. Definitely, nothing to worry about

>A. Point out that he did capture everyone before

"He captured us all before," you point out. "And, knowing him, he's probably spying on us right now."

"So what? It's not like he can do anything to us," Bulma says. "You and Goku were more than enough to beat him a year ago. With as strong as you two have gotten, this'l be nothing!"

"Besides, I'm here too!" Krillin chimes in. "With the three of us working together, we can beat just about anybody."

>A. So then, why don't you all wait outside the palace for them to come

Why not both? We're just asking at this point. We'll have to go back to Bulma's house on the way anyway.

I am exceptionally happy now.

"So, why don't we just wait outside for them to come?" you ask.

"Just sit out here, in the desert?" Bulma groans. "Great, sounds like fun."

"Well, if you don't want your wish anymore, you can leave, and we'll just think of something else to use it on," Krillin suggests.

"Forget it!" Bulma snaps. "I didn't come all this way just to not get my wish!"

"I'm just saying, it seems like a lot of trouble for a boyfriend," Krillin says. "You ever try just looking for a guy instead of wishing for one?"

"That's none of your business!" Bulma shouts.

"So, are we going outside?" Goku asks.

Bulma sighs. "Yeah, sure, let's go."

The four of you say goodbye to Baba, and head outside. Goku and Krillin take a seat, while Bulma stands, sighing and looking around.

what's the DC?

I don't care about mods. I just believe /qst/ is a nice board for quest lovers and it will die if some people go there and others keep posting here.
If we concentrate all quests there it will turn into a permanent board.

Please don't tell me you all have some kind of "QUESTS BELONG TO Veeky Forums!" thing going on... cause having your own board is better.

because the fact that /qst/ is garbage format wise, and that its even more tightly regulated then here; theres the fact that you are clearly a newfag that doesn't remember why the nazimod is a fag of the highest order.

We should just call them "bad mods".
