What cryptocurrencies could have potential for long term investments (4+ years) and why?

bitcoin

thats it tbqh.

this, long live the king

Bitcoin is the only one. The other ones are for autists. Like the many Linux distros.

Makes sense. I'm thinking of giving investing a go, but we're talking $30 worth to see what happens. Would that be easy enough?

XLM, NEM, CARDANO, XZC, XMR, ZEN PROTOCOL, NAV, KMD, IOTA, ETH.

XRP

literally 0

XMR, bitcoin, ETH will be around but post-bubblepop

HOWEVER. Omisego and NEO are tokenized shares of companies, this means they will actually continue to rise like the stock market

oh i forgot. QASH, WABI and MONA.
just buy and forget about it.

In all honesty, there is no point of wasting your time and putting $30 into crypto because you wont make anything noteworthy. I would suggest about $500 minimum to see solid gains for a poorfag

RCN, or at least something like it. Too much need for it.

i´d go with $HST, they have a working product, solid partners and and they provide value for their costomers.

that one obvs /pol/ lurker
happy for us, faggot?

Also I've read about TRX having lots of potential but might be very long term. What do you lot think about the currency?

Eth xmr

bitcoin you fucking moron. lightning network has a 1.0, not long until its implemented.

yes, i know, you dont know what that is. thats why youre asking this retarded fucking question.

just stop being dumb and buy bitcoin

Honestly man I'm not expecting massive gains or anything, just free money I can more or less forget about for a while. It would be pretty funny to see my small investment turn into a few grand in half a decade, then spend it on a car or clothes hahah

Bitcoin: brand recognition, momentum, network effect
Ethereum: Better scaling, better to build on, more devs and use cases. Second most brand recognition, momentum, and network effect.
MKR: The next crash will make plain the need for stablecoins. Makerdao is soon releasing their full dai stablecoin, paying fees to and insured by MKR. Most of the capital people anticipate moving into the crypto space will have no stomach for volatility, stablecoins are the answer and MKR is the best of the bunch (trustless, decentralised, also serves as automated overcollateralised loans). Once tokenised stocks, bonds, real estate, cars etc are moved on ethereum and borrowed against, we start seeing tens of trillions.

PPT. COSS. DYOR.

Decred

DOGE

Me on the right

this post is why you're poor

not if you're only investing 30$. Thats not how chad invests

Read that we might have dai being released in December. Is a specific date known?

>NEO
>VTC
>ARK

"Poor" lmao

The 17th

There's no way to know a good stable investment in crypto in that long a time span

Honestly in talking 4+ years even Bitcoin is a risk. There's definitely potential for something to one day act as an exceedingly better Bitcoin and take market cap from it

Sounds pretty good then. Where can I read more about the currency? E.g where to get it, benefits, how to get it, wallets

Bitcoin
OmiseGo if they succeed in making the product because then there will be constant transactions and actual revenue

XRP, linked to USD not BTC

I've got mates who invested in Bitcoin on a small scale 5 years ago and they've made hella profit. It's definitely an option, but as you said there is a chance for better stuff in the future. Cause who knows, maybe Bitcoin will become overtaken in 4 years or some sketchy shit will go down.

BTC. Why would you do anything else.

Website is makerdao.com
Whitepaper at github.com/makerdao/docs/blob/master/Dai.md
Now kind of outdated, hopefully due an update with or after dai release
Most everything else is on slack or the subreddit
makerdao.reddit.com

Funnily enough I was looking into XRP but getting it in my country is a bit tedious

lol @ no one in here holding FUN

Looked this up. I haven't seen a casino / gambling related cryptocurrency before, and as far as I know there is a shit ton of money in that industry...interesting!

Why do you feel it is viable in the long run?

t. retard

This to be honest

GByte is next moon mission, screencap this.

Why?
