I have not seen a single Eternal Masters card played. Not in EDH, not in Legacy, not in Pauper.

Nobody is using the cards, they're all just sitting in trade binders fucking rotting because nobody is actually stupid enough to enter the formats these cards were printed for.

The people playing Eternal formats already had their cards. Nobody was ACTUALLY excited to have this opportunity to get cards they didn't have.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I haven't seen any Modern Masters 2015 cards played either. All those few Cliques and Goyfs are just rotting in someone's binder.

While that is an admirable use for the card, Cube is ultimately a non-sanctioned format and there is no reason why you have to use a real $75 card in it for any reason. And the fact that these cards are going to be going into Cubes and EDH decks more than any other application means that we need to call out Wizards on their marketing bullshit when they say they're reprinting these cards for Eternal formats when the reality is that these cards aren't enabling any more play in those formats.

I saw someone at the last Modern Tournament playing with MM Goyfs and Bobs. There was an also an Affinity player where pretty much everything that could be Modern Masters in his deck was.
