What do you do if you don't have a local game store...

Adopt a kid, mold him/her to your image and teach him/her to play.

Then get sad again when he/she leaves you for better friends.

Not OP, but how would you go about finding a club? Meetup.com doesn't work since the only "clubs" are established games with established players. If I can't find one, how would I found one, if I don't know anybody?

>go to your local train station or any place filed with homeless people
>promise them a hot meal and/or alcohol if they are willing so spend a few hours with you and do what you want

Moved to a new city with my girlfriend, I work with middle age women who all have families, and I don't go to school or anywhere else since my hobbies are not particularly social.

Also would like to know as my coworkers are all frumpy 40+ year old moms or grandmas, and my friends prefer getting drunk at a bar while watching american football. Not knocking that at all. Its fun from time to time but they arent the sort to want to sit down and play paths of glory, 40k, or what have you.

I have no friends. The nearest game store is 2 hours away No nearby gaming clubs (the one club sort of nearby has policies designed to keep new players out, plus they meet in a place three hours away). The co-workers are all married with kids who look down on me for not being married with kids. Also after asking me about my hobbies they made fun of me when I told them, and tried to embarrass me in front of others. I do not talk about my personal life at work anymore.

so I play plastic army men with myself sometimes... probably makes things even sadder, but that's the way it is. I live in a city with a million other people, but I've never felt more alone.

Find a game club or something.

Not everyone here is a reject with no social skills.
