>How can a kitsune sorcerer or mesmerist fit into Horror Adventures?

Easy. They /ARE/ one of the horrors.

>Adventurers roam around the country side killing and looting everything
>Barely able to function in normal situations.
>Was advertised as a horror campaign, seems pretty standard.
user, where are the horrors?
No, anons, you are the horrors.

Horror Adventures

Alchemist gets the blood alchemist and mad scientist archetypes.

Barbarian gets the lesser cult totem, cult totem, greater cult totem, lesser daemon totem, daemon totem, greater daemon totem, and flight response rage powers, and the dreadnought, fearsome defender, and mooncursed archetypes.

Cleric gets the elder mythos cultist archetype, and they finally reprinted void and three subdomains in a Pathfinder RPG book instead of just in a Campaign Setting book.

Druid gets the death druid, devolutionist, and life channeler archetypes.

Inquisitor gets the hexenhammer and living grimoire archetypes.

Investigator gets the cult hunter, gravedigger, and profiler archetypes.

Kineticist gets the dark elementalist and the psychokineticist archetypes, as well as the elemental whispers and greater elemental whispers wild talents.

Medium gets six new legendary evil spirits they can access by doing something specific and swearing an oath you won't do something, varies for each of them. Butcher instead of Champion, Deceiver instead of Trickster, Heretic instead of Hierophant, Lich instead of Archmage, Terminator instead of Guardian, Warmonger instead of Marshal.

Mesmerist gets the dreamstalker, gaslighter, and hate-monger archetypes.

Occultist gets the haunt collector and talisman crafter archetypes.

Paladin gets the martyr, soul sentinel, and tortured crusader archetypes.

Slayer gets the bloody jake, family hunter, and witch killer archetypes.

Spiritualist gets the exciter and necrologist archetypes.

Vigilante gets the experimenter, hangman, and serial killer archetypes.

Witch gets the conspiracies, decadence, entropy, nightmares, revenge, and space patrons, as well as the gingerbread witch and tatterdemalion archetypes.

Wizard gets the elder mythos scholar, hallowed necromancer, and undead master archetypes.

Anything can be a subject to depravity and corruption so even your cute anime fox can turn into a monstrosity or a insane bloody murder given the stress and circumstances

>been playing in the game for a few weeks with new group I met online
>NE Eldritch Poisoner alchemist, don't fuck over the party so everything is fine
>GM has sorceress cast unnatural lust on me
>say I should get a +4 bonus on the save, as my character is homosexual
>GM gets unnaturally angry
>point out this has been in my backstory since day 1
I'm not sure what I did wrong but I got kicked out.

Horror Adventures scans when?

>How can a kitsune sorcerer or mesmerist fit into Horror Adventures?
Kitsune sorceress walks into Horror Adventures.
Horrors with true seeing look at kitsune sorceress.
Horrors proceed to whimper in the corner.

I think I'm getting Metzen fuel fetish but basically the more innocent is the being the more entertaining is the horror/corruption process of such being. You are breaking their very existence.
So you either turn into a mess or you overcome all your fears and become sturdy character that people usually respect.

Guess your DM didn't like fags

So who is considering using corruption rules to homebrew up an Emrakul corruption?

Isn't that what a Nogitsune is?

Aren't Kitsune typically used as asshole tricksters and creepy body-snatchers anyway?

>Witch gets the conspiracies, decadence, entropy, nightmares, revenge, and space patrons, as well as the gingerbread witch and tatterdemalion archetypes.

>Witch
>Decadence

Oh lord this will be the new go-to patron for lewd witches, isn't it.

Also I want to know more about the Paladin and Slayer archetypes!

Kinda new to the game and i hear casters sort of invalidate the game. What should i avoid in order to let everyone have fun?

Fuck its been a while since I was really hyped for a new material. Please Paizo don't fuck up Horror Adventures

Just don't let then cast autism and bullshit stuff that will clearly break the encounter.

Oh before I forget remove Sacred Geometry out of your game you will thank me later.

Why do you still hope, user? They only betray you.

>Please Paizo don't fuck up Horror Adventures
Come on. Horror. In Pathfinder. Unless there are arbitrary sanity checks with difficulty starting in 30s for cr1 encounters or something equally that-GMish, all you are going to get is bunch of spooky character options with mind-affecting descriptor.

Because they somehow didn't fuck up intrigue.

>didn't fuck up intrigue
Great, another few threads of magical child shitposting incoming, brace for impact.

Let's be honest here; the reason the Paizo devs hate Mengkare is because none of them would be getting an invitation to Hermea anyway. None of them are up to the high standards.

Hermea are the cool kids and Mengkare is the popular jock/cheerleader.

If Mengkare is so smart why didn't he invite Kurgess to Hermea?

Hermea is just a bunch of weird asshats, fuck then.

>I don't want to be part of your utopian society anyway!
>It probably sucks and you're all stupid!

>None of them are up to the high standards.

>mfw I make a character who's sole motivation for adventure is becoming great and powerful enough for Mengkare to notice her.

Excuse me while I'm having fun with my imperfections

That's a problem with the fanbase, not paizo.

I now have mental image of Elan Council watching reality show about stupid dragon trying to follow its path.

>Warmonger instead of Marshal.
I can bind Donald Trump?

>tfw my character performed live before 400k kobolds in a dance off grudge match.

Was good

Kobolds are shit.

Dem 40m exp though.

Also the question is for the perform chart what should a 60 performance check get you? Considering 35 is extraplanar attention.

The extraplanar attention isn't to become your patron, but to become your backup dancer.

>I hope dragon-senpai notices me today!

>Fleshcrafting requires being evil aligned
Oh fuck off with your 'if it makes me feel McUncomfortable it must be EEEEEEEEEEVIL' cockamainy Paizo.
Know what Fleshcrafting would be great for?
Medical Procedures.
Curing Cancer.
Shit like that.

Fuck you for being fucking boring.

The problem is that it does way too much damage for just giving up 2 feats. inb4 lol it just does damage it's not OP

>How can a kitsune sorcerer or mesmerist fit into Horror Adventures?
By being the victim. Also fuck you for starting another thread with this degeneracy.

Oh no, im playing a sorcerer. Not gming.

You can also use Holy Word in the middle of a park full of kids and kill a fuckton of them since little kids tend to be neutral

And its a good aligned act.
Because [Good] spells are.
Herpaderpadoo

>that axe

Abyssal Exalted class when?

Don't take Create Pit, Stinking Cloud or Confusion.

>be good cleric
>Farmer has lost his arm in a raid
>flesh craft a spare orc arm onto his body so he can still work
>fall
Does paizo think donating organs is an evil act too? Organ replacing surgery. What are they Jehovah's Witnesses?

I mean, I'd say deliberately killing sapient creatures for the sake of fleshcrafting is evil.

Casting the spell was. Murdering children is still evil.

But paizo has confirmed that using an evil spell to save a child's life is still an evil act.

So the using a good spell to end a child's life is also a good act.

Well done, paizo.

Thank god my DM houserule this kind of bullshit

Only two more days until we get Gareth back.

Not once has it been stated that using an evil spell is an evil act. Paizo don't understand their own system and as it's 3.5e with errata, they are wrong by default by virtue of 3.5 rules saying otherwise.

In fact, it's explicitly said that descriptors on spells have no effect unless they are called upon.

Anything a Paizo dev says is wrong by default. Should he be proven right, then the one who proved it is the one who made the statement in the first place.

I would need to see this confirmation. I'm almost sure just casting the spell is still evil, not the act itself. Cite your sources.

Assuming he's coming back at the beginning of August. He never said when in August he'd be back.

>Not once has it been stated that using an evil spell is an evil act

Apparently the new book states it, or so I hear. It would be nice if someone could share the full alignment descriptor side bar.

>Fleshcrafting is now evil
Those fucking retards did it again. They did forget that in Nex ther is a FUCKING METROPOLIS DEDICATED ONLY TO THE MEDICAL APPLICATIONS OF FLESHCRAFT?!
WHO IS THE FUCKING USELESS WASTE OF BIOMATTER THAT WORKS AS AN EDITOR IN THAT LAIR OF NUTMILK CHUGGER BRAIN DEAD LOLIWANKER MANCHILDREN ABORTIONS?!!!

What about Qanon? I hunger for books.

I am fucking tired of this constant bullshit from James Jacobs.
In the beginning Geb was a necrommancer magocracy in which the living were the middle class since mindless undead did the blue collar jobs and the undead elite had access to cloned meat and blood. Then some religious nut in investors complained and said "change that or I'll take muh money".
Now Geb is a fucking stereotypical Mordor instead of a land of greys.
For fuck sake this is worse when subscriptos unsubscribe en masse when Iron Gods happened because "muh pseudomiddle ages!" "ugetspacecrapinmuhswordsorceryderp!" and had to halt Strange Aeons and other interesting APs for bring in a hurry the vanilla crap that was Giantslayer and Hell's Rebels.
In fact the James Sutter "embargo" happened because many complained about Distant Worlds and City of Strangers being too progressive.
What's is fucking wrong with sword and sorcery fags?!

>What's is fucking wrong with sword and sorcery fags?!
They're loud, and their threads aren't closed by mods, unlike everyone else's opinions.

>blaming the Iron Gods bullshit on sword and sorcery

Man, that's bullshit.

Lone Wolf kicked ass across a jungle moon fighting dudes with laser spears, weird sci-fi shit showing up in sword and sorcery fiction is a classic.

Fucking entry-tier plebs.

BARRIER PEAKS EXISTS.

No, is not bullshit.
Go check the official forums (but I doubt those threads are still around), when Iron Gods was announced lots of "I am going to unsubscribe from AP!" threads start to pop out.

That's hilarious. I subscribed BECAUSE of Iron Gods, and cancelled with the pleb-tier trash that followed.

>aaronwiki.us/index.php?title=Dungeon_Crasher

>Here you go, fully compatible with all fighters.

Would prefer there was actual thought put into its implementation and not just a direct copy and paste.
Thanks though.

Oh, I believe it.

I'm just saying, like... D&D has had spaceships and crashed aliens and all sorts of sci-fi wackiness since its inception, and swords and sorcery books frequently use the idea of other worlds to justify magic and strange artifacts of advanced technology. The idea that robots are out of place in 'muh swords and sorcery' directly contradicts a lot of the classic works in that genre.

Rate my wizard pls. Real world Pathfinder when?

Disappointing your thread didn't generate as many WE WUZ memes friend?

6/10
just your average Magaambyan, will fall prey to Golarion's Useless Magical Negro Disorder and be unable to use any of her power to actually affect the setting
I hate Paizo. Jatembe would be crying right now

I know!
I did play the Dave Arneson modules that were heavy into crossing genres a part of Expedition to Barrier Peaks.
Temple of the Frogs and City of the Gods were great because the villains felt like a blow of fresh air even if they were just based into the "Lest fuck the Prime Directive!".

Wat, I'm just attracted to beautiful ladies you nong.

She's probably part of that other Garundi tribe written about in Heart of the Jungle or some shit, where the inhabitants look less Magaambyan and more exotic.

Why are you waiting around for that slow fuck to put out shit, just use DepressedHomebrewer's Unchained Fighter.

>unarmored idiots everywhere
And these guys are supposed to be threatening to the chelish hellknights.

>Dress on a battlefield
>About three strides from a wardrobe malfunction
>Long hair that isn't even tied back
What the fuck does she think she's doing?

Japanese kitsune are tricksters and sometimes servants of the Rice god.
Korean kitsune eat your liver.

STRONG
INDEPENDANT
WOMAN

They're all Edgelord harbingers.

I'd bet 10-to-1 odds she worships Milani, so the answer is probably that she wasn't thinking. HER GODDESS A SHIT.

Well wouldn't healing magic grow them a new arm?

>he doesn't recognize a Liberty Leading The People homage when he sees it

Uncultured plebeian.

I would like Andoran a lot more if they had a secret trade deal with Alkenstar for guns.

He didn't prepare restoration today.

But every picture with Eagle knights is like that! Unarmed asshats moments away from getting their shit kicked in!

Why is Andoran so awesome? It's quite simply the greatest nation in the Inner Sea.

It's awesome because Paizo hasn't ruined it.

Yet.

Doesn't matter if a "new book" says it. They don't understand the source material, thus are always wrong.

...

I thought Eagle Knight outfits were actually some sort of magical armor on-par with full plate.

I don't think they can ruin it, Galt is right next to it. They can just throw in another bloody and pointless revolution there and nothing will change.

iirc they all use Glamored armor made to look like the standard uniform.
Can't remember where I heard that from though

pfsdb.com/magicitems/eagle-knight-dress-uniform

A single uniform is 10,800 gp.

>Useless Magical Negro Disorder
Don't half the nations suffer from this? I mean like they have the Tian nations and despite there being a lot of interesting things going on there we will never see it.

Same with Vudra, the PF version of Egypt, Greece and so on.

>the PF version of Egypt

Osirion got an AP and a companion book, they've got some thorough loving.

>I mean like they have the Tian nations and despite there being a lot of interesting things going on there we will never see it.

I just want an epic campaign set in Tian Xia set to the tune of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms as the party fights to unite the Successor States under one Empire.

Didn't they get 2? Legacy of Fire is in that area too isn't it?

>I just want an epic campaign set in Tian Xia set to the tune of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms as the party fights to unite the Successor States under one Empire.
I hope you enjoy escorting the spunky genderfluid DMPC as they get all the attention and and fame while you are still managing a small army at lvl 20

Legacy of Fire was Katapesh, which is basically a representation of everything that was wrong with Arabia during the Middle Ages.

>I hope you enjoy escorting the spunky genderfluid DMPC as they get all the attention and and fame

When does this happen?

Like, the closest you get to an NPC stealing the spotlight is Jade Regent with Ameiko, and you're encouraged to FUCK her.

Are you talking about Wrath of the Righteous? Because last I checked the lesbian half-orc stops being a celebrity by the end of Book 1, and the party turns into FOOKIN LEGENDS by Book 3, the type of stuff milk-maids schlick to and minstrels dream of meeting.

Yeah, for all that people complain about Paizo's writing, I've never seen anything in the APs that's offensively bad, just a lot of mediocre. Am I missing something?

>Are you talking about Wrath of the Righteous? Because last I checked the lesbian half-orc stops being a celebrity by the end of Book 1, and the party turns into FOOKIN LEGENDS by Book 3, the type of stuff milk-maids schlick to and minstrels dream of meeting.

This.

You go from nobodies to *Hero of the Crusade* by the end of Book 1. Do you know what happens by the end of Book 1 for Rise of the Runelords? You go from a nobody to a minor celebrity in a dinky Varisian town.

When you buy it and scan it.

At least it's fully fucking clothed this time.

I'm in the same boat as you; there's a few shoehorned things, but the only thing I've seen that I can point to and say "This is stupid" is Bazzy Thrune's motivation and the Trumpets.

How do you know he didn't?

Sure, if you think you can beat Gaslighter Hillary.
