man, i had such a thriving ebay business, like 5 years ago. now its almost been reduced to nothing. no one is buying anymore. buyers are dickheads. fees are outrageously high. the days of ebay being profitable are fucking over. very sad about it.

yeah, i've been selling classical english literature to koreans. a bit older issues from like early and mid 20th century score you up to $1000 a piece. 400 is minimum. they're obsessed with european culture. i even sold an old Nietzsche in German for $2500. books i get on flee markets for like 10-20 bucks. they're also super into old clothing, traditional Bavarian or Victorian style clothing produced in England could sell for thousands. they don't understand English at all and are limited to Korean market

Everything is relavant. Millions around the world do work that is practically requiring them just to show up. For $5000. Some do backbreaking work for $2000. Some sell shit on ebay and earn enough to cover their basic needs but not much more. Some kid plays LoL and earns millions. Someone is pretty and makes a porn video, ending up having a lucrative career. Just do anything to make your money, who you are as a person isn't defined by that, you need to go beyond your livelihood to find meaning

all I did to start was incorporate and start emailing wholesalers i found on google. most of the work was researching products that will have steady sales.
Selling on ebay is like having a store in a major city. ebay already has people's attention. ebay results show up in google. very little promotion is necessary.

I have one room of my house as a home-office. all the inventory is in there in these bins i got at walmart. actually at any given time there's probably a third or a half of total inventory with fedex or USPS on its way here. order new inventory every couple days or so
