It was the base.
I'd replace the green slime with siren's scale, and add an eagle feather so that the panicked masses of gassed victi- subjects flail into each other with no increases to durability.

Do the insect ones have altered lifespans or something? Because you could very well just die of old age before the year is up.

So I've been thinking after the Superhero CYOA is done I'd make a more loose ended fantasy adventure CYOA where you're not railroaded into the story I wrote.

Would people like that? I intend to do a few unique spins on fantasy races while retaining some classic traits.

As long as you don't include video game mechanics or force us into an unhappy marriage.

I think the last few CYOAs I made had fewer or no video game mechanics, and don't worry the only marriages will be ones that you want, such as the Monstergirl Island.

Also what do people think of sexually dimorphic stats? I'm thinking of some races having differing stats depending on whether one is male or female, and even different racial passives based off gender.

I intend to make some races have warrior women and magic using men, and some the other way around. Some races won't be dimorphic at all, like the human races.
