Boss fight time

>boss fight time
>sexy female villain transforms herself into a huge monster

Does anyone else hate this trope? Is this some misguided "oh you can't hit a girl" thing that's survived for decades? Do they really think murderhobos will hesitate to kill an enemy because they're hot?

I'm tired of this, Veeky Forums

It's so the fans will have another character to make weird porn of.
Duh.

No, it's the opposite. You see, your average murderhobo will just draw their sword, step towards the villain, and lop their head off. By transforming into a huge monster, you turn the situation from a single-stroke victory into an actual battle for your party of murderhobos.

Not really. I love killing big, mean monsters with oversized swords and big explosions.

>>boss fight time
>>huge monster villain transforms itself into a sexy female

Murderhobos would do something to a hot female enemy, and it might end in their death, but it /probably/ won't start that way.

>Pic
Wasn't that show all about transforming into weird monsters? I never watched it.

And the obvious answer is that a huge monster is supposed to be more intimidating. Hell, a dragon is generally more intimidating than a hulking man, so it's not even sexist.

So Final Fantasy, basically. Or Dragonball Z. Just that it's actually a guy.

You and me both, user. You and me both.

Personally I like it when it's permanent and horrifying, like a witch becoming a horrific spider hybrid.

If someone wanted to redeem them, it reduces the chance of them dicking the bad guy and makes it more of a moralfag decision.

>Villian turns into something, that can fight the squad of murderhobos.
>Does anyone else hate this trope?

No, it's way better than turning it into a generic "oh shit, she's fast!"-anime bullshit. If she isn't a mage, then there is no chance she'll be able to kill the team of paladins/wizards/blackguars alone in a melee fight.

>Huge monstrous transformations are not sexy or feminine

I'm tired of you.

It's because a giant dragon is normally more of a threat than a human. Fighting a big monster is more of a big final fight setpiece than fighting a regular person.

Shouldn't really need to spell this out for you OP but please keep thinking the primary reason is we can't hit girls and not because its cooler to hit giant monsters.

I'd rather do the dragon than the girl

.I prefer it when the girl "part" is actually just growing out of the monster like some kind of vestigial lure. Body horror goes a long way to make a fight and monster memorable

no that's gay

Because it's a trap?

>woman that turns into a monster with a dick

I'll take three!

Only if there's no option for the PCs to also turn into huge monsters. If it ends in kaiju battles then it's all good.

it's because one single woman is never threatening no matter how many levels they may have. Even if it's a one-on-one, there's no real "threat" factor involved.

I thought Freiza was a woman through most of Namek and that was really cool to 11 year old me.

I'm just now realizing that's where my love of using superpowered chicks as bad guys probably comes from.

>Does anyone else hate this trope?

I don't think even you do, I just think you wanted to discuss it.

more likely the BBEG was always a male dragon using a female human as an alt form

basically using the whole seductress thing to fuck around with mortals and his real form to throw weight around

so yes she always was a trap

But it's the same with male characters

This. Even Disney does it, because it's one of the easiest way you can make the villain look more badass and less human.

Yeah, that's a pretty good aesthetic.

>boss fight time
>huge monster villain transforms herself into a sexy female
Would this be better?

>boss fight time
>sexy female villain transforms herself into a huge sexy female monster

how about
>ugly witch transforms herself into sexy female monster

I'll take it

Are you high, OP? Are you alright?

You get to have a big badass fight where you vanquish a huge goddamn monster, against all odds, and then you get to gloat over the dying girl that could've avoided all this by just using her magic bullshit not being a dick.

youtube.com/watch?v=UqipZjeUCVs

>this thread

>by just getting the dick
FTFY.

Honestly, fights against much larger opponents are overrated. They tend to feel pretty unheroic, honestly.

>Boss battle time

>sexy female villain transforms into a swarm of BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES

>Bust into the villains chambers
>Boss fight time
>Can't find the boss in the chamber
>Go to leave
>The door is gone
>The windows are gone
>Your skin starts to burn
>Boss was the chamber
>You charged into the belly of a mimic

>boss fight time
>sexy female villain transforms herself into a huge sexy female villain
that's the best

I think you mean

>wizened old crone villain transforms herself into sexy youthful villainess

user

No i meant something like echoes of aetheria final boss

Clearly our tastes differ. I respect your giantess fetish though.

thanks. And i respect yours

Naw, it's primarily because the party is primed for an assault on a humanoid, medium sized target.

Now they've got a huge beast with god knows what kinds of attacks and abilities. It's more a way to add unpredictability than anything.

It's also to help keep the bard from trying to seduce it. It doesn't work though.

Is it a sexy monster?

So would half of Veeky Forums

Best version of this

Correction, her turning into a sexy giantess or a dragoness is the best version of this

>Does anyone else hate this trope?

No. It's just you, because fun is your anathema, your antithesis.

>Do they really think murderhobos will hesitate to kill an enemy because they're hot?
Yes, because some of them will, because they think with their dick.
I don't see how it's connected to
>sexy female villain transforms herself into a huge monster
though.

>>boss fight time
>>sexy female villain transforms herself into a huge monster
I've literally never seen this
>Is this some misguided "oh you can't hit a girl" thing that's survived for decades?
I don't know how you came to that retarded conclusion, but the more obvious one is that giant monsters make for better boss fights. This isn't up for discussion, they just do.

One more item to my list of "I only heard about this on the web".

>cheetos guy
>scottish dwarfs
>standard fantasy setting
>realistic setting based on actual research
>sexy female villain transforms herself into a huge monster

Who else wants to make a "Caviars of Veeky Forums" thread?

Never run into it. We fought a slinky sexy get sorceress and beat the shit out of her.

I think my wizard finished her by telekineticly throwing her out of the window through the leaded glass.

It was brutal but she blew the dwarf into candy chunks. I was miffed.

Veeky Forums talks about redeeming female enemies a lot, but can you redeem a female giant monster?

Why would you want to?

Yeah, sure, why not?

>Why would you want to?

What sort of question is that? Do you know where you are?

>Does anyone else hate this trope?
I don't think I've ever encountered this trope, in games or in media.

I'm not convinced you didn't just make this up.

Either for lewd reasons or to gain a powerful big ally to cuddle with

Depends. Can you trap her in monster form or not? If not, it's useless.

>Final Fantasy

Final Fantasy plays the cliche straight. The first form is normally the humanoid form, and then they become more ridiculous as they go on.

Or at least, that's how it was for 7-10. Also 12, IIRC

>All these people ITT who never watched Sleeping Beauty or played Kingdom Hearts

Damn neo-millenials.

I suppose that's because big monsters are generally treated as slow, so you take apart this helpless chump one bit at a time rather than locking blades with a worthy foe

I have done it once. Cunning but seemingly harmless halfling female villlain turns into black dragon for boss fight. Great fun was had both during the proper fight and during the investigation that led to identify her as the villain.

Personally I like it when you fight the sexy youthful villainess and she turns into a wizened old crone and the party bard starts barfing

Sure, if you have a horndog in the party. Pancake tits always skeeve roleplayers out.

It's much more entertaining if they've attempted to seduce said character and even better if they succeeded

Definitely.

I roll to seduce the dragoness

Why do you hate when sexy things happen, OP?

FUCK

YES.

>Do they really think murderhobos will hesitate to kill an enemy because they're hot?
Happens all the time.

Even though he was consistently addressed as LORD Frieza?

Meanwhile in Rance 03, Gele takes the form of a loli.

Justified though, since she's only at a fraction of her power and cannot take her full adult form. She's still one of the strongest opponents Rance (and mankind in general) has ever fought.

Our temp DM loved to do the oposite. Having an horrible and masculine monster transform into a beautiful female as their ultimate form for more power.

Then the main DM came back and most voted to just go back to the classical monsters.

It's hip to fuck bees

It's a common trope for villains in general to turn into monsters as their final form

Why aren't you complaining when a man does it?

Because they turn into badass monsters that are recognizable as them.

The OP pic's monster is pretty recognizable. The color scheme is identical, and the dragon's horns and body markings reference the girl's hair and coat, respectively, pretty thoroughly.

She didn't transform into that form though.

I guess the logical comparison would be Noce and Kamilla.
Both Dragons turned Demons.

Kamilla stays in her normal form while Noce first turns this and then goes full Dragon

>Sexy female villain in the middle of reciting an enchantment in a magical ring
>Archer decides to fire a shot to stop her
>It grazes her leg, but is enough to make her trip over and fall halfway out of the ring
>It's too late, and her transformation into a dragon has begun
>An explosion of magic temporarily blinds the party
>As the dust settles, the large body of a dragon can be seen
>The players look up to where the dragon's head should be
>In its place is the bbeg in her human form from the waist up, the half of her that was outside of the ring.
>The bard asks what kind of dragon she's half of
>He says "A *coughmale* red dragon"
>"A what red dragon?"
>The DM starts to blush
>"Uh.. a-a male... male dragon."
>"But is the human half male?"
>"No."
>"I roll to seduce."

You say that but look at the OP pic. The dragon version of Charm Caster still has her color scheme and even retains her heart motif and the curling stripes on the jacket, while still l having her charms on her chest and around her neck. That isn't just a generic dragon design, but one that evokes the human Charm Master's design. It is recognizabley Charm Chaster, just obviously a monster form.

And it's done the same way in what that's clearly referencing, Maleficent's dragon form in Sleeping Beauty. Her hat is the same as the horns of the dragon form, and the purple and black cloak evokes the shape of the dragon. And both forms have the same colors.

I think you're blind, user.

...

I prefer it when the party learns she's actually a giant monster in disguise, before the point of fighting her. Like the happen upon her in private without her noticing, and she assumes her monster form because it's more comfortable.

Or like, she changes back to monster form if she loses concentration, like while sleeping, or if she experiences too much stress or gets caught off guard/frightened. Or... is she experiences too much pleasure and loses control.

>Or... is she experiences too much pleasure and loses control.

Not that user but I thought the same thing. Didn't realize until later on that Lady was the female equivalent of Lord, just thought that Lord was a generic ruler title.

>"oh you can't hit a girl" thing
It's more of a, "they aren't human anymore, so its okay to murder them" thing.

>I don't think I've ever encountered this trope, in games or in media.
>Or in Media
How about Sleeping fucking Beauty?
You know, the Sorceress turns herself into a fucking Dragon.

The monster is harder to kill (It's assumed in a lot of media most 'hot' female enemies are squishy and mostly rely on magic), so I think it's more for pragmatic reasons.
Plus if they're a dragon it's much less likely the PCs will attempt to seduce- at least in a public game.

>after facing the heroes, the monster attempts to learn Justice, thinking that it must be a secret fighting technique

I'll take things that never happened for 1000.

>Our temp DM loved to do the oposite. Having an horrible and masculine monster transform into a beautiful female as their ultimate form for more power.

Storytime user. You can't just leave us hanging

Yeah you cuntfaced ponce. Storytime your bullshit fapfic.

>It's hip to fuck bees
You could say it's the bee's knees.

Plus he wore lipstick and sounded like my grandma.

What if instead of slaying the villainess-turned-beast you enslave her and use her as a mount?

Actually that spider girl from that monster girl doujin is really well designed. The one with the centaur and shit.

It makes her hips and legs the mandibles of the spider so where her snatch would be would be the literal hole of the mouth. And it flows really well.

It's a surprisingly good design for a spider woman for a lewd comic. I'm not even interested in the sexy, just impressed by the amount of thought that went into it.

Kind of acted like my grandma too. The imperious bitch.

We did this once with our BBEG, except she wasn't a monster and didn't transform or anything, she was just a normal (still dangerous though, obviously) orc.

Don't see why not. SOP in my current party is that you can redeem anyone that is willing to be redeemed. Redemption isn't easy, but the path is there for everyone. What kind of creature they are or how big doesn't matter.

Maleficent is the archetype for "would rather fuck the monster than the woman" characters.

>So would half of Veeky Forums
Only half? I take it summer dilutes the number then?

That's some pretty good taste there, user.

>Crippled, blind old woman transforms herself into moderately large monster
