So what is the rate of mining in terms of BWK tokens? Is it realistic for me to get in and try to mine this? (No coding experience and only a gaming PC)

Fug do you set up a node through the wallet? I’m just mining off a pool atm

Masternodes validate transactions and get part of the block rewards. Once you get enough of a coin you basically lock it as collateral in a cold wallet and host a node via a VPS (the VPS node doesn't hold the coins, just checks the cold wallet to make sure they're locked).

BWK requires 5000 coins to host a node though there are some community / grouped nodes operating where people have a share of the node. I'm 90 days masternodes will get 50% of block rewards to split between themselves. Currently it's at 20% to incentivize miners.

My favorite part of this coin is that there are no shitskins on the team

I need to do more reading into mining possible specifically about mining BWK. Seems really promising but I am new to crypto and so far all I am experienced with is pushing money around on exchanges.

I am mining on a gaming PC. Nothing to write home about. But if you go to their website and go to the Blog, there is a guide to get you setup with mining.

I'm not going to lie the name could be better, but really though anything moons and can have the worst name ever so does that matter? It's a good privacy coin that you get for cheap right now.

I use cc-miner, which seems like the accepted Windows miner. Pretty easy to setup, just download that and the wallet first. After that just update the info in the batch file for your wallet address, pool info, etc. Seems confusing at first, but I followed those steps in a forum I found and it’s been working just fine atm

I'm averaging 350mh/s on my GPUs and about the same on my CPUs. I think this is GPU only? How much are you getting and what on average are you mining a day? I might just buy some desu instead of mining if the rate isn't more than 0.2 BWK a day or something.

I have mined bitcoin litecoin dogue feathercoin monacoin and a lot of other coins with no problem with my trusty amd 6700 series double gpu. In with this new coin and other niche coin (biblepay) that can only be mined by cpu. There is no problem to install the miners and wallet. Get the miners from trusted links on bitcointalk. Their board (bwk) has them there. Be sure to have the ni5 file in the miner folder

It's nothing special, about 3 years old now and even then it wasn't top end or anything. I am getting 250-350mh/s on Minergate with my GPU and all 6 CPU cores get about 200-275 ish? I just put in 300 for the calculator but I guess even if it only gets the 250 it'll be decent. Better than the 0.005monero every 2 days I am getting and 20 BCN a day!

Yea probably not. I have a second one I can put in but I am not really that fussed for now. I have been tempted to load up 4 in a rig using my old motherboard but I have just not found the time. Ill see how this goes anyway. If I can get 1 a day its better than what I would be getting on anything else.
