>mainstream media reports heavily on this
>fear hits normies and Veeky Forums-like speculators alike
>people start mass exiting their positions on BTC
>Coinbase and several exchanges can't handle all the transactions
>BTC networks hit new, historical levels of congestion
>people can't cash out to dollars, so they move their money into whatever they can
>lots of people going on ETH (it's the only other asset on Normiebase) and Tether
>other alts like Litecoin and Monero also receive tons of attention
