Forever waiting for Mega to sort its shit out for the Rules databases. I want Traitor's Hate damnit.

That's because their codex is masturbation from start to finish.

Yes, even the toned down 7th one.

Are you done?

Excellent start so far, guys! This will be a thread for the archives!

What's wrong with Guardsmen, you smug bitch?

They are the Hammer of the Emperor, show some respect.

Think he's pointing out how they trump Orks, hilariously enough.

You need to rename that gif. It's supposed to be Green Arrow, not Hawkeye

>He doesn't do his tank interiors

No, that's Hawkeye, it's just how he looks in comics and cartoons.

>Even in death, I still wear my robes over my armor.

Got any Chimera interiors?

Any of you fine gentlemen got a PDF of Traitor's Hate hosted somewhere that's not Mega for the time being?

bathrobe for the bath house!

>doesn't know what hawkeye looks like

MCU kid, go home.

yes

Lol.

Nope.

Can you post some?

Got to keep the tailors in business somehow.

Who are the best allies for Scions besides IG?

well this one isn't mine but

You're the one that doesn't know shit. He's a member of the Justice League, they don't have a movie in the MCU yet.

Imperial Knights

>Directed Firestorm Sanctioned

>mixing DC and marvel.

Dark Angels

hey guys which army should i play if i suck dick and take lsd on a regular basis also im pretty sure i might have some kind of dick deformity and/or a third nipple

Orks.

Orks

Orks.

Pretty much have to in order to actually play the fucking army, now.

He'll be a great Ork player since he's so used to sucking cock.

Orks

How else can expect to afford it! Plus it gets his ass prepared for getting fucked in the ass for as long as he plays the game.

hey gay dudes, whatya think about my army list? imma try it next wensday, so tell me what ya think

1500 points of Chaos Space Marines

(Chaos CSM Black Crusade Detachment)

1 core
4 x squads of 12 cultist, 2 squads with autoguns and 1 naked dark apostle

1 auxiliary
1 x spawn

(Crimson Slaughter Formation Detachment)

Lords of Slaughter formation:
1 x mary sue Chaos Lord with Aura of dark glory, Blade of the Relentless, Bolt Pistol, Daemonheart, Gift of mutation, Mark of Tzeentch, Spell familiar on a bike

1 x squad of csm on a rhino with havok launcher

1 x suicide squad of 3 terminators, with power fists and combi melta (and a land rider, but i have a question with the land raider)

1 x quad of naked posseseds

Mayhem Pack formation:
3 x deepstriking hellbrutes

i just want to ask if the land rider can go on its own and if i can deepstrike the terminators on their own

That's why orks use third party toys

Does anyone have the newest kill team rule set?

Nice, where's the mini poledancer from?

it's gay

can we anons get an alternate download source for Traitor's Hate since Mega refuses to work?

Dark Eldar Slave IIRC

Hasslefree miniatures

Curious, but could Kranon have gotten away with refusing Abaddon's summon when the Despoiler ordered his presence to discuss the Crimson Slaughter joining the (then yet to be launched) 13th Black Crusade?

For that matter are there any mortal Chaos Lords who can refuse Abaddon with impunity?

Like, if Abaddon called Lugft Huron or Kor Phaeron before him in the Eye of Terror, would there be any consequences if they didn't show up?

its lit

If Abbadon wants them there and they don't show, but they're supposed to be there, the Gods get involved and make them.

Not quite. Huron is pretty much an independant. Not only is he on the other side of the galaxy (the Maelstrom) but he's a rival powerhouse if anything. Abaddon commands the Legions, Huron commands the more recent renegades it seems.

So I'm basically new to the game and just bought the Space Marine start collecting box so I can make an Iron Hands successor chapter that I came up with.

Question, I want to give one of my guys a Plasma gun for his special weapon but I don't know what I don't know what to do for the heavy weapon. What's considered good? I like the heavy bolter because it seems the most Space Marine-ie but I have no idea if that's good idea. Whenever I read this general everyone seems to think that every weapon is either garbage or overpowered or both at the same time so I have no idea what to do.

Cheers

Grav cannon. Get it from the dev box.

The Lord of Iron doesn't answer to anyone but himself.

>Huron commands the more recent renegades it seems

Which are apparently said to be "Legion Sized".

I wonder does, that make the Red Corsairs mightier than the Word Bearers that call the Maelstrom home?

Tactical squads don't make good use of heavy weapons as the marines generally want to move about and shoot at light infantry while heavy weapons want to stay still and shoot at big things.

Plasma cannon and heavy bolter are bad, missles are pretty decent in a casual setting and you can move that guy to a devistator squad later.

So when they get here I just shouldn't give anyone a heavy weapon and get a devastator squad later?

Is anyone on VASSAL? I did more tweaks, and I' think I'm ready to test this list after all.

Free VOTLW is always nice. And free Boon rolls are cute.

Total Points: 1850

The Lord & Sorcerer join the Spawn, the Herald hides with the Horrors unless he's safe from being alpha-striked (in which case I can risk it and run him solo), and the rest operate in two separate cohorts of two. I have "just enough" WC to auto-summon a Horror unit, and have a D6 of WC to play with for my Sorcerer (or vice-versa).

So, how ass is the Haemonculi Covens book?

Grey Knights

Or Sisters of Battle

A missile launcher should be fine for now, just don't run it together with your special weapon.

Inquisition, GK and DW.

Gotcha, thanks! Any advice on what to put on the Venerable Dread? I was thinking the Lascanon because the formation that comes with the box would let me fire it twice a turn.

If you can fire twice, you'll probably want to get the Assault Cannon. 8 shots would be fairly scary, plus you're already BS 5 (meaning you hit on 2+ anyway), and chances are you can grab some bonus later on that lets you reroll 1s.

...or just magnetize the weapon option for later on. One thing you can do with regular Dreads is run them with dual TL Autocannons. The "Rifleman" is nowhere as glorious as it was back in 5e, but it's still fairly formidable, plus you're Iron Hands.

>Need 4 weapons for Scourges
>box comes with one of each

Why is GW such shit? Where am I supposed to get the rest of my weapons? I also need more for shit like Trueborn.

Has anyone here actually ran this formation before? I'm interested in how it fares

I love Sentinels so much.

>Not just playing Covens
Come on user, It'll hurt less for you. I wish running vanilla was at least semi-viable anymore.

I saw a dude run it last night...it really didn't do a whole lot. You might as well run them Armored for what it's worth and avoid any further bells & whistles.

Me too, I have a token Sentinel sitting on my shelf and I want an excuse to put it back on the table. Maybe I'll eventually get more off ebay to run the formation beside my scions

It's too late. I'm already like $320 deep.

They're great if you want mobile lascannons, they do have their use. Get shot off the board pretty easily though.

I'm so sorry. You can still play them By spending more. 1 Scalpel Squadron, 1 Dark Artisian, and 1 Corpseclaw makes for one mean fucking 1250.

So GW does not make Kasrkin anymore?

FW sells an upgrade pack.

I got them so I could play cocaine space elves, not Frankenstein. I get they're part of it, but not my intention.

Nah, I feel you user, I just like my frankenstiens, and I can pray that we both get a nice update that might help out soon.

Commissar Cain, HERO OF THE IMPERIUM, is not wearing a Commisariat standard regulation Black w/ Red trim uniform!

Longtime IH player here
You don't need a heavy weapon. Just because you have the option to take something, doesn't mean you should. You can give your Sargent the veteran upgrade, melta bombs, a combi melta, a power fist and a few other pieces of wargear. Should you? Hell no.

Give your guys the tools they need for the job. Plasma gun in squad. What are they going to do? Plasma stuffs? Consider combi plasma on sarge and that's it for now.

Right now, grav anything is straight OP and will be nerfed next edition. Do yourself a favor and just take the guns you feel are right for the job. Melta is great vs tanks, plasma vs monsters and elite stuffs, flamers are cheap and useful vs hordes but even a lucky flamer hit can kill terminators.

Does anyone know where I can get a Leman Russ Conqueror turret? Or, rather, three?
Ebay almost never has 'em.

Venerable dreads have a ballistic score of 5, meaning anything that's twin linked is wasted on them. Only real option is assault cannon or plasma cannon, both will serve you well. Consider changing the fist arm to have a heavy flamer instead of storm bolter and always give him extra armor.

Admittedly, I like them, too, but I want to grab a Razorwing or something. More Venoms, idk

Ok, we all know 40k's expensive, which kit in your opinion is the best bang for it's buck? This includes bit variety, customization variety, how "cool" the minis look, etc. The "cool factor" is subjective.

Buy a Dark Artisan. 2 Talos/Chronos, 1 Haemonculus. I just swapped out the tail-guns ends from those kits to my scourges, so they're WYSIWYG.

It took a long time to find this pic.

The thing about sentinels is they fill a special role in the IG Arsenal: Too weak to kill, too strong to ignore.

This is specifically for armies that rely on dedicated anti-tank or dedicated anti-infantry. So when they come across a balanced IG army they run into a conundrum:

Focus their dedicated anti-armor on the Leman Russes, which is probably what they brought the Grav/Lance/D Weapons/Melta for to begin with, and ignore what are basically relentless heavy weapons teams bouncing around the midfield killing their troops, taking objectives, and hounding their vehicles.
Or
Target the 40 point AV12 walkers with lance weapons, D, melta, or grav while the Leman Russes sit unmolested in the back launching strength 8 large blasts into your heavy infantry.
Or
Target both and risk killing neither.

Also remember these are vehicles that can fight in melee using their front armor. Use them to intercept attacks against other vehicles or command squads or HWS. They don't have to win, just stop the enemy for a couple turns while you reorient.

Grey Knight strike squad and terminator boxes are pretty nice. 4 of each of the special weapons in the strike squad box. 2 of each in the terminator one. Enough to make them all halberds, swords, or falchions, and lots of little bits. Basically enough stuff to make any combo you want, plus almost enough weapons afterwords to convert up a tactical squad box as grey knights. Considering GK are low model count, this is really nice. A good two boxes for my army.

Thanks

anyone have the lore on the changeling in the wulfen book?

Where can I get a deathwatch Codex pdf?

mega doesn't have anything.

Sorry but the scourge box is one of the best bang for your buck you can get.
5 unique legs and wing sets. 8+ heads. Basic weapons for all 5, 4 different heavy weapon, 2 special weapons, 2 pistols, 2 melee weapons, 3 additional off hand options, plus extra bits.
For $25 or less.
And the models are fucking great looking.
