Our IOTA network is totally vulnerable to script kiddie hackers

>We have no double spend protection and no devices to actually run the network on

I said "Turn on the coordinator and we'll call it a TANGLE!!"

MILLIONS OF TRANSACTIONS PER SECOND (as long as the one server keeps running, but we'll turn it off one day, ps we're not releasing the source code, oh and we invented our own hash function it's pretty cool hey what the fuck is differential cryptanalysis that sounds hard)

>basically a giant excel spreadsheet maintained on their dell pc by one central (((coordinator))).

>that's how my pa did it
>and that's how my grandpa did it
never change a winning horse, and free hipster points too! It's a win-win.

I will definitely never buy this shit.
its very centralized.

Wait is IOTA not open source?

Imagine being this mad that you missed not one but now two moon missions.

I rode the fomo and got 10x out of it.

IOTA is a shitcoin, but it was predictable that their marketing and hype would lead to this mooning. Crypto "investors" are extremely uninformed. It's worse than the electorate in US elections.

IOTA is a big exit scam and people don't realize this yet. The more and more security holes and false promises are just being ignored by the people that hold and hope for a stupid pipe dream of a "moon" when it is less realistic of a coin than fucking musiccoin

Nope.

IOTA best exit scam 2017. Sorry Linkies.

Some of it is, their central coordinator that's apparently fucking necessary to run the network without it shitting itself is not

I can't believe people don't see this is Confido 2.0, it is following the EXACT same pattern as Confido

> exit scam
> partners with Microsoft

Oh ok

For us who didn't follow confido tl;dr version of the events leading up to their exit scam?

>"""""partners""""""
Microsoft's only affiliation with IOTA is that one of their interns has let them rent out a room at their campus for a tiny interview

How don't you retards know this, Microsoft and IOTA do NOT HAVE A PARTNERSHIP. IT'S ALL MISINFORMATION SPREAD BY THEIR DUMBASS OWNERS, THE EVIDENCE CAN BE SEEN BY JUST A GOOGLE SEARCH.

...

The partnership is bullshit. I have a feeling you already know this. How much do you get paid to shill Iota?

>shitcoin pops up out of nowhere
>makes up a lot of bullshit about "innovative implementation" ahead of ICO
>the owners secretly buy fuckloads of coins and stashes them
>dumps ALL of their stashed coins while locking up the owner's wallets to absolve themselves of potential guilt
>hours later they end the project stating that they are in a legal battle that means that they can't run the project any longer, and promptly deleted everything that pertained to the existence of Confido and their owners.

They ran off with almost 400k with a simple ICO scam and the real owners were never found meaning that they got away with all the money. IOTA is following the exact same road with false promises (no wallet, no partnership with Microsoft), overhype and many coins ready to be dumped when the owner feels that he is ready to. Don't say I didn't warn you, the signs are all there.

I have $4-5k in IOTA, should I sell it all and move to REQ? I rode the IOTA wave hard.

I mean to be fair the people who run IOTA are very public figures so they couldn't just drop and run. There are issues with IOTA, but that's not one

yeah, this FUD just doesnt work. Please insert coin and try again.

Ty for the summary and warning. IOTA definitely seems like one to avoid.

it's a very organized fud campaign.
Doesn't matter, they won't stop fudding this untill it's unfuddable. They probably are organized by a P&D that wants to buy cheaply into fear, and gain. Welcome to crypto. This board has become so shitty nowadays.

I mean you can google cisco and bosch and put the fucking pieces together or you can be emotional and miss a giant opportunity

yeah, but doesn't change the fact that their god damn hipsters. JUST.
But so be it...

I bought in with more money than I should have but am still hopeful. Wish the team wasn't so full of autists though. PR nightmares left and right :(

>Wish the team wasn't so full of autists though.
They're(!) hipsters, not autists. And that's kind of worse. Because they're idealists, living in theory dreamland where socialisms work and everyone has enough to eat and shit like that... sooner or later that kind of shit clashes with reality (see that implementing their own hash idiocity)

>cisco

A reporter literally emailed Cisco about if they had an official partnership with IOTA and their official response was no

>not open source

HAHAHAHABABABbabahahahahahhaha

Holy shit biztards actually buy this?
Cryptos have really fallen since I left the game...

IOTA is, the coordinator that also runs on it isn't

you mean the coordinator that ultimately does everything, and controls whether a transaction is written into the tangle or not?

you mean that they don't actually have a decentralized system at all and refuse to release code that would indicate how their system is actually running right now?

seems like a pretty big red flag to me user, i'm out

He gets paid in IOTA, so technically $0 in 2018 :^)

Oh look, another fud iota thread.

that's hardly a rebuttal

tell us about how the tangle works

I have made a fuck ton of money this year doing exactly what the trolls on /biz insult people for. The important thing is /biz is talking about it...
>4 post on /biz about your coin - strong buy.
No post with your coins logo on it... sell.

Stay poor Mother FUDers

Internet IOTA Defense Force reporting for duty within 5 minutes from each other post!

Trips of truth

Fess up

>tell us about how the tangle works

It doesn't

I bet you shill for bitcoin and eth despite them only being alive thanks to chinese miner farms.
If the gooks decide to fuck it your coin is literally dead.

Try making sense next time, k thanks

They wouldn't be the first small business to work like that - a dodgy xl spreadsheet propping up the back of multi-million dollar businesses.

The problem is a lot of the trading platforms and exchanges, who have good reputations (regulated) are now listing IOTA. This makes IOTA look like an extremely safe bet.
