You need to do research. Bitcoin will always have fees. Lightning network will lower it significantly that's all. Fees are how miners make money.

Iota/xrb uses Tangle. Their transactions have ZERO fees. Perfect for micro transaction like dollar coffee which is perfect for 3rd world countries.

IOTA needs a working network.

It still has an in house developed untested algorithm that MIT found holes in within hours allowing anyone to steal anyone elses money. MIT then told the bugs to IOTA, and waited for them to fix the bugs before releasing a paper. MIT was hoping IOTA would change their algorithm to a crypto standard like SHA-256. They didn't. They just patched that one hole and released a statement saying that the bug was intentional so that they could sabotage anyone else who steals their code. Their project is open source...

IOTAs feeless transactions rely on everyone being a miner. They rely on every micro transaction to validate 2 previous transactions. This isn't cheap to do, it's actually quite computationally expensive and needs a specialised chip to do. IOTA is relying on every IoT device to build their hardware with IOTA in mind including this specialised chip into the hardware of every device. I don't think this is a great solution. Do you?
