If there's any native speakers, I've got a question: Would something like this be better said with du or Sie? I used du because it seemed more insulting, like you're stating a simple fact to a friend, but I don't know the language enough to know if that would carry through.

"Du" is the better choice here, yes, but the whole sentence sounds a bit too factual. Unless that was intentional.
I would leave out the second "du" in any case. It's not wrong, but it's also not necessary and in fact lessens the connection between the two statements.

Among our people it is a great dishonor to invoke the battle-cry in vain. It is generally to be used in moments of triumph or defiance, or as a taunt toward our enemies.

It is supposed to be sort of factual, glad I got that to carry over.

2e DS Psion with Psychokinetic focus, does most of his fighting by controlling mass and weight. He love to smugly inform his opponents that they simply can't affect him.
