Good point. During the AMA they mentioned that gambling would have to be legal according to your local laws or else shut down. But I doubt that even 1% of the 5000 Vegas City parcels are capable or well funded enough to jump through the many hoops of that.

If you buy a district parcel it’s yours. But if you want to get into genesis city which is the main place you have to bid on land parcels.

Because it's an open standard it really is the worlds first virtual real estate. The meme value of that alone is worth a lot.
