How have brothers, sisters, and other siblings been in your games? Have you ever duo-apped as a sibling pair?

While I only rarely play in games with actual apps (usually being in existing gaming groups), there's an adopted sibling pair in a game I'm in at the moment. (One's actually a several hundred year old murder kitsune badly regretting his choice in disguises.) I played a Pactmaker back when they were called Occultists and had less panther rape who was the younger sister of another character (both princesses).

I'm not as prone to this as I thought, weirdly.

Once played in a game where the DM was trying "something weird" with each player. My thing was that I had to be several characters at once; I gained levels as normal, but I had to split those levels among multiple characters. There was some weird mathy rule, like, I had to have at least one other level 1 before I could have a level 2, I had to have a level 1 and a level 2 before I'd be allowed a level 3 (so I had to have at least one of each level, basically)

Instead of that, I just played an ever-increasing number of 1st-level Wizards. We started at second level, as a brother-and-sister twin pair (pretty androgynous, you couldn't easily tell them apart), and every level up we added another sibling and claimed s/he'd always been there, what're you talking about, you're crazy. It was actually kind of fun; spell prep time was a mess of passing spellbooks around for everyone to pick their favourites.

Help me make my kitsune the lewdest nymphomaniac!

First off, she's a huli jing, so she has max Charisma. She can have sex with people to make herself more attractive and drain their life force.

She's also a level 10 pactmaker, so she can bind Anajira, Fey Baraddu, AND Swan Elashni all at once!
>Personality Influence: You pursue all male authority figures with romantic intent. You must never acknowledge female authority figures.
>Personality Influence: Your sexual urges are intensified to nigh unbearable levels. You must sexually pursue any whom you find even remotely attractive
>Personality Influence: You speak constantly of true love. You must try to inspire love in those around you.

She's also got Extra Social Talent (Companion to the Lonely). She can have sex to get herself Charisma and Will rerolls!

She ALSO has Celestial Obedience (Arshea)!
>Obedience: Achieve sexual release by yourself or with one or more partners. Praise the most beautiful aspects of yourself and any partners aloud, and offer a prayer to Arshea while still naked. Gain a +4 sacred bonus on Charisma checks and Charisma-based skill checks when interacting with an intelligent creature who could be sexually attracted to you.

Got any other lewd stuff? 1pp or 3pp, I'll take it!

every day we drift further from gods light.

I don't think 'lewd' is an appropriate word anymore. That's just...
god, i hate the pactmaker so much.

I wish I could be sad. There's nothing left to feel. I don't know why I still browse these threads.

we're all trapped here i think.

this is a punishment for misdeeds in a past life

I'm feeling productive and I've got a stretch of free time. Anyone here need anything done? I've very few skills in life and knowing too much about various D&D editions and statting things with them is chief among them. Please give me something to do.
Want me to build something?
Stat you?
Want an encounter?
Maybe a whole ass dungeon?
Want a monster created?
Shit I'll homebrew you something.
Whatever goes man, this is all I have

Homebrew a Dex/Cha Small fennec kitsune subrace!

goddamnit fennecposter

Statting up Apsu might be cool.

>look through books for Skinwalker Lore/Picture

Ah

i see i have chosen a race that Paizo doesn't really give a shit about

What is the best mage class and why is it magus?

well its Arcanist so

>What is Blood of the Moon?

That's not how you spell Pact Wizard with Foresight or Teleportation.

Arcanists took that Consume Spells nerf.

>literally one book with awful art
>never referenced outside of it

Lathander's avatar.

>only one session left in my holy man game

ok I walked into this one. But o.k sure. I gotta go research the topic now.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abzu ???
I'm not so well versed in forgotten realms settings so this'll take some time to research too. I'll get to it if I can but this is probably the one that will require the most work

I wanna jump real high and kill things.

I only look to see how far pathfinder has fallen. So I don't make the same mistakes

So I want to play an Inquisitor of Erastus as a monster hunter that slays foul things to protect communities. Is it permissible for an Erastilite to travel around and go on adventures?

Yes, but you might have one community that you place above all others. You might be a specialist that someone else's community does not have. If that's the case, you would have to stay around afterwards long enough to train an Inquisitor for that community.

>paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/advancedPlayersGuide/baseClasses/inquisitor.html
>Grim and determined, the inquisitor roots out enemies of the faith, using trickery and guile when righteousness and purity is not enough. Although inquisitors are dedicated to a deity, they are above many of the normal rules and conventions of the church. They answer to their deity and their own sense of justice alone, and are willing to take extreme measures to meet their goals.

Role: Inquisitors tend to move from place to place, chasing down enemies and researching emerging threats. As a result, they often travel with others, if for no other reason than to mask their presence. Inquisitors work with members of their faith whenever possible, but even such allies are not above suspicion.

Are there rules for avatars in Pathfinder yet?

Only because the god you're thinking of is Pelor, the Burning Hate.

Makes sense. What skills are needed to teach others?

>My group finishes Reign of Winter in january
>DM is tired of being a DM, wants to play something
>A player steps up and we begin a Chtulhu campaign
>We did a "short one" (10 months), but planning a 2+ years one
>We had Skull&Shackles planned for april
>"Not gonna happen, user"
>Always wanted to be a pirate

I just wanted to cast spells without killing myself.

>d20pfsrd.com/alignment-description/description
According to the starting ages table, Inquisitor is one of the classes that takes the longest. You might have to take along a village youth as an apprentice for a long time. I think there was a handbook that gave examples of classes with archetypes for masters with apprentices. There might be more information in that.

For an Inquisitor, you would have to have to be trained Knowledge (Religion), Perception, Sense Motive, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Stealth, and Spellcraft to teach others. Depending on what your religion focuses on, there would be a few changes.

For someone who worships Erastil, your taking a worker away from his community for years while he apprentices. That family just lost a set of hands. You would have to make sure the community can support his absence long enough for training.

Strange Aeons suarks.

Lemme give you the lore that I was somehow able to find by playing with Skinwalkers; they are the children of natural lycanthropes and a humanoid (your dad or Mom could be an Elf) who are especially prevalent in areas where lycanthropy is common. Since you've chosen Witchwolf, this means Land of the Linnorm Kings and Andoran.

Witchwolves are exceptionally group-oriented, they lack the natural desire for kinship like ragebred but they're certainly lonely when they don't have a pack, and will do anything to get a "family."

First transformation often occurs the first full moon after puberty, non evil Witch-wolves often feel like they have a duty to portray their kind as capable of good.

>Lemme give you my shitty headcanons
No thanks, keep them

Maybe find a youth that isn't part of a community, like a sole survivor, banished outcast, or some such.

It's what they have on the Skinwalker page about Witchwolves, dude.

Literally the only headcanon I added was the Linnorm Kingdoms and Andoran because those places are known for their lycanthropes.

Fennec kitsune should be Con/Cha! They can survive at the desert and are cute.

They should be Dex/Cha because they're really agile.

Con/Cha wouldn't fit because it means they can take a hit, which they can't.

Just give them a permanent (Ex) Endure Elements.

And a natural sonic attack.

This actually made me laugh a bit.

Ugh... i'm not sure what race to go for

I'm thinking Ratfolk or Human for Investigator.

I was thinking of going finesse rapier build.

I have 16 dex and 17 int.

I kind of want to go Human for the bonus feat and the extra skillpoint. But ratfolk boosts my dex to 18 and it has those neat racials for stealth, alchemy, and sleight of hand

whats the nerf anyway? I play in a group that still has the good version of crane wing

>Speed (Slow): Ratfolk have a base speed of 20 ft.

Garbage.

then why did you pick all dragoon? to jump the highest you need at least jump the spell at full caster level, and at least two ninja trick talents. If you can commit 10 levels to ninja, you can jump a foot for every point of acrobatics you have. without that, its just 1 for two points, but thats still better than 1 for 4.

Cha times per day.

I JUST WANT TO HAVE A GROUP IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR.

FUCK WHY DO THEY ALWAYS CANCEL.

How would you explain alignments in terms of kitsune?

please come back... I'm so very hungry

Lawful Good and Lawful Neutral are messengers of Inari and often golden/white furred, Chaotic Good and Neutral Good are also aspects of Inari but not messengers. True Neutral and Chaotic Neutral are yokel bumfuck Kitsune.

Lawful Evil is Kumiho, Chaotic Evil is Nogitsune and Neutral Evil is Tamamo-no-Mae (worst girl and probably a slut.)

... couldn't she just have begged "please no, not inside, not today" instead?

what a bitch.

It's a domination thing, silly.

>"please no, not inside, not today"

Inside what? The arch of her foot?

Don't you know she has to go shoe shopping right after this?

Imagine the embarrassment!

WELL TAMAMO IS NEUTRAL EVIL TOO YOU HUSSY!

I made an NPC Brutal Slayer Bushi (Stalker) 7 with Broken Blade, Elemental Flux, and Mithral Current for use against PCs.

Where is that sidebar that says a character can do subdual damage with strikes if the weapon can normally do subdual damage?

>I made an NPC Brutal Slayer Bushi (Stalker) 7 with Broken Blade, Elemental Flux, and Mithral Current for use against PCs.
You are a bad person.

Does a blinkling or a zenko kitsune make a cuter high Wisdom cohort?

Zenko Kitsune, I can't not associate dogs with loyal oafs so the thought of a lil dog boy or girl spouting wisdom just doesn't rub me the right way.

Wisdom gives you high Perception and a lotta loyalty (Will save) for a hired gun.

Both fit dogs.

This thread needs to be gassed

...

Which should be reflected by a racial bonus to perception, though Wisdom working with Sense Motive and Profession (two things dogs are good at) does mean the whole dog thing's growing on me.

Don't defend this bullshit. This is how furries become encroached in the hobby.

Malaque isn't nearly as bad as some of the other CR 6 creatures out there, like the dinosaurs or dragons.

>d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/bestiary-hub/monsters-by-cr#TOC-CR6-

I used to run games for powergamers and people who memorized the Bestiary.

I can be a better person once someone finds the passage that says he can do subdual damage with strikes.

...

You're aiming pretty wide with your insults, user.

...

Are seriously still using furry scare as an excuse for being a dick? What's next, HERESY posting?

...

Are you still using lewd games as an excuse for kitsune-posting? What's next, ERP posting?

ERP posting never hurt anyone.

And by that logic neither did the HERESY posting you mentioned.

They're both out of the scope of a Pathfinder General though, and shouldn't be allowed.

Like it or not, talking about kitsune or characters for lewd (lewd, not pornographic) games is still on topic. Vaguely so, but still. Whining about meta stuff isn't.

Paladins get "called," so Inquisitors might also.

Imagine an unfortunate "accident" that is abandoned out in the woods. Through luck or divine favor, she makes her way to a community that will at provide a roof and meal for her. She's an extra mouth for some family to feed, but she learns to work soon enough.

An Inquisitor of Erastil comes to town on an adventure. The community sees this as an opportunity to get rid of a girl of questionable parentage who was never really one of them. The girl wants the feeling of community she's been drawn to but never found.

The girl becomes an apprentice, and everyone sort of wins.

This sounds too generic.

Sounds like the Erastilian and the Lymnieris Paladin duo like we talked about before.

>make a joke about my half elf Oracle taking his fullblooded elf sister as a cohort
>say that she'd be a warlock vigilante with a magical girl theme
>GM loves it, and thinks it's an amazing idea, wants to go through with it
>The Oracle's face when he inevitably has to pretend that his sister was definitely not his sister when telling his nephew about his adventures

Dual identity may be a meme feature, but damn if it isn't a fun one. Seriously can't wait to poach the stuff from BotB.

Why does Ezren hang around with nubile young Wizard boys?

Alrighty so how does this sounds? All trifling half siblings seeking out retribution for their birth against the creature who took each of their mother's virtue.

I like it. I'll keep an eye out for an opportunity to score an apprentice like that for my character. His uncle died in The War. Maybe he's got an illegitimate cousin somewhere he could teach

You know better than to ask that question.

Generally people start apprenticing when they're young.

*tiefling

Tieflings aren't made that way.

They would be half-fiends, and it kind of sounds like Baldur's Gate.

Nah I'm just DMing for the first time forever.
First I was thinking an Arabian Adventure...
Then some Political Intrigue game in a City state in the sky... with elements from escaflowne (because fantasy power armor seemed awesome.)

New GM here, running Skulls and Shackles for my friends. It's a two man party, level 4, and tier one mythic. I'm giving them the trust rule when it comes to 3rd party books and like.

Any advice anyone would care to give? Right now I'm thinking about starting gold for them

>starting gold

There are wealth by level rules for this kind of thing.

Yeah, I just remembered that a few seconds after hitting submit.
