Reposting this for folks who missed it.

Same.

Pic related seems like the obvious choice

No one?

It feels like going straight Phantom is kinda shafted compared to the other options, which I guess fits the source material but... I don't know. What do you think?

Would it possible to choose the original draft of Evangelion as the setting via the Favorite's List drawback? It sounds really interesting, what with Gendo being the leader of the SEELE equivalent, human instrumentality being about making humans immortal and perfect, the Angels/Apostles being bio-weapons created by the First Ancestral Race, and the final battle being between the Evas and the last twelve Apostles inside the Ruins of Arka, where Gendo plans to initiate Third Impact and the secrets of the Apostles are finally revealed. That sounds like it would make for an awesome final battle, especially since it comes right after those twelve Apostles descending from the Moon and obliterating America (the continent) and Eva Unit 06, and the UN canceling the Human Instrumentality Plan and rallying to fight, live, and possibly die, as humans.

So I'm going to make a reminder. My to-do list now consists of:

>Familiar of Zero remake
>Code Geass remake
>"I Want To Become An Overlord!" Disgaea DLC

Aside from the research I'll have to do for FoZ, my jump schedule is basically smooth sailing. So what better way to celebrate than to push my luck with the following tentative ideas.

How would yall feel if I said I was interested in claiming the OTHER cursed jump, Metroid or a continuation of the Madoka jump that happens DURING canon instead of before, or Rebellion or the interim period leading up to it.

When They Cry is in there somewhere, but I feel like a straight-up Umineko jump would need a hell of a twist to it.

Thoughts? None of this is official, just want to test the waters.

FINISH YOUR EXISTING SHIT FIRST

Now that I've got the obligatory out of the way, I'd say only do this if you have any motivation and energy left after the remakes.

The only one of those that really interests me is metroid, so plus one for that I guess?

Familiar of zero takes second place, and I don't know much about the others.

I'd say the interim period of Madoka'd be...interesting, maybe majority of it being the new world created by Madoka's wish leading up to Rebellion proper

Huh. I guess I didn't do the math on that one correctly, I was having trouble blancing out everything between the different ways of Phantom stuff
Any suggestions on what'd make going straight Phantom more interesting?

Finish what you have first. Also, work on Code Geass yourself. Don't taint the jump by asking IT for help.

You finish all your other claims?
If so good for you!

A Metroid Jump would be cool. Captain N would get a wee bit more intreasting.

Digger do we have anything coming out of you soon? I've heard rumors...

So is someone actually going to make an election jumpchain or is that just a joke?

But we have a West Wing jump already.

Out of those mentioned, I only really know Metroid. That said, I would be all kinds of excited to see a Jump for it, especially you doing one after that excellent job you did on Disgaea.

Metroid would be cool, but honestly I'm looking forward to the FoZ and Code Geass updates more.

Re-asking: For the Wheel of Time jump, does the dreamworld's complete effects carry over to future jumps like a localised pattern, or does it subsequently become just a way for you to hang out in dreams?

Also how relatively potent is the purchaseable Sa'Angreal, and how far can you customise it?

With Keijo coming out I'm starting my work on a Generic Pornstar jump.

I know it went under the radar during that little shitshow but I figure it's worth repeating.

Pretty sure it's a joke.

Everyone's meming hard for the election. CYOA gen's also blowing up about a possible Trump CYOA.

I need to restore my morale a bit, but I could either finish working on Der Langrisser or start putting time into Endless Frontier, I just took a break cause NH part 2 ate up a few weeks and exams+general bullshit occurred.

Finish what you have first, please. Once that's done, I'd say Madoka, especially if you can use the Wraith arc. I mean, use what has been translated so far.

It went under the radar because people were deliberately ignoring you, bruh.

What would be the backgrounds? I mean, I know it's not actually going to happen, but I'm curious.

No you aren't.

Director/producer, Pornstar, Cameraman, NEET?

Ah awesome. It'll be great to see you in working order again Digger. Hope you do well and all.

>No drop-in

It's really the little things that give someone away away when they're trying to get (you)s.

Also like other folks said: Plate, finish, etc.

So-do the DLC first, I guess. Worry about other stuff later.

I'd like to see your current ""obligations"" cleared first desu.

Although I'd love Madoka and When They Cry.

What jump has the best golems? Something like the golems out of Forgotten Realms

well, D&D in general, not just Forgotten Realms. That's just the relevent jump.

What's up with When They Cry anyway?

Is it a cosmic killzone or someone's daydream?

I am not PoranstarAnon, user.

Though I would like to remind you that drop-in does not explicitly have to be called "drop-in".

Yes.

Depends on who you ask.

I mean this completely seriously. For Umineko, anyway, I'm pretty sure the big stuff from Higurashi isn't as convoluted.

My requests:
>FoZ
>Metroid

Do that, sempai, and I'll make sure to get you that body pillow of Worm_user you've been eyeing.

I know I asked a few days ago, but I just wanted to confirm.

BLADE, would it be acceptable to twist Necromancy slightly so that it uses clockwork toys and constructs instead of dead bodies?

Sorta like only it's: Amateur (Drop-In), Experienced, Camera Crew, Director, and Editor.

Might have a script-writing perk, not sure right now.

Golems? Sure. You might want to consider the spiritual craft item.

Also, the hell is that? it looks like claydol, but way weird.

>1170
How fucking fast do you chumps go through these things?
Last I remember you just broke 100

One or two a day. Sometimes three.

Christ

I was considering the Spiritual Crafts feat, but that note about them tending to eat souls has me wary. I was thinking more along the lines of tin soldiers, model airplanes, and suits of armor with some clockworks inside. Maybe a high end Junk Bot, like the picture, as my "Eliza". Can I make more basic Golems with the perk than the soul eaters?

It's supposed to be a claydol, I think. Or at least inspired by one. I'm not sure why I saved it actually. Kinda creeps me out now that I've seen it running for a few minutes.

So can an Omnitrix scan any sapient biological forms post-jump?

What's too powerful? Martians? Kryptonians?

What about something like Kaguya from Naruto. Would she count?

Last you remember was 2-ish years ago?

Huppermage update to Wakfu when?

Never, the jumpmaker was chased off. Good job, us.

Holy shit, apparently.
I cobbled together the shitstains that were the first proto-Naruto and proto-Type Moon abominations

Too lazy to quote all of these. Looks like the consensus is 'finish your shit first' and 'sure, okay, if you're up to it after' for about everything on the list. With a preference for Metroid.

Good thing that's my favorite.

I'll finish the DLC at some point in the following week or so, then take a short break and actually do some builds again.

For the Netherworld, how would yall feel about something like the NH DLC or LoT-ish when it comes to point-building said Netherworld and tackling the problems it has? Or would you prefer it to be a semi-linear adventure, just a long-ass Scenario?

Out of all of those, my prefference order goes Madoka>Metroid>Code Geass>FoZ

Although I think you'd be happier if you worked on your novel like you said you planned too. Not knocking your jumps, but I think something like that would be more fulfilling and you'd probably be happier when all's said and done.

When you die for continuing to bring this up to get your dick hard.

I already flunked NaNo due to unrelated bullshit. It's my own fault, so this is me attempting to be semi-productive. I haven't exactly given up on writing, though, so that will probably be higher on my priority list as time goes on.

Stop trying to chase off jumpmakers.

I liked all three approaches, so honestly? Go with whatever you come up with idea-wise - part of the appeal was the difference in styles, so making your own variant would be neat. If you were up to it.

>user asks for a jumpmaker to focus on themselves for once and try to be happy
>"stop chasing them off"
/jc/ mentality, everyone.

>Jumpchain as a whole is just Jumpchan's ridiculously specific fetish

You did the follower thing thanks user, now I won't have to leave them behind.

Both sound awesome. Go with your preference, really.

That said, what would we actually be buying for those points in the former case?

This Netherworld, would it be our own or would it be one that we conquered from someone else? I remember you said we would fight another Overlord as the final boss for that DLC, so I was curious if they were the aggressor or the defender.

The plot (none of this is spoilers) is that a Netherworld is lacking an Overlord and you've been given a hastily-scribbled writ saying it's yours for the taking if you can make it acknowledge you.

That said, the Netherworld is of varying degrees of trainwreck (the more points you start out with for this DLC specifically, the worst it is) and you'll run into plenty of problems. And answering , those points can be redeemed to add features from aesthetics to JRPG industry to your Netherworld.

You also get increasingly colorful enemies to defeat for extra points, if you choose. Some are harder than others.

The final boss, Overlord Priere, will show up regardless to basically defeat you since you're the newest bigshot around her. Her personality, whether her original self from La Pucelle and the fighting being done as an almost cordial affair, or her power-hungry and bloodthirsty portrayal will depend on how ruthless you were up to that point. If you were somewhere inbetween, flip a coin.

That bit is tentative, mind.

Oh, okay-
>JRPG industry
...JRPGs made by demons? That sounds...interesting.

An important thing I need to address is that a Netherworld is about the size of planet Earth, or at least a 'flat' version if we take Makai Kingdom into account, and has an amazingly schizophrenic geography.

Thus, having it available for access at all times is a bit of a mind-numbing prospect, even for a jump that's already of an insane scale.

So, here's what I was going to do. The Overlord's Castle and a lot of its basic functions can be accessed via Warehouse freely, but little else. You can't access things beyond that...until a jump is over. Then you get a six month period you can freely explore or store things in your Netherworld (moving them in and out of the Warehouse where available) before the next jump.

For civilization imports, the castle and the landmass around it would be valid. Unless there's a 'planet import', I don't see the whole thing seeing use.

Obviously, post-chain, this restriction is gone regardless of whether you Spark or not.

Inactive companions can also hang out in the castle.

How's this sounding?

Sounds overly restrictive and dedicated to making the Netherworld useless.

>or at least a 'flat' version
Is it possible to walk off the edge and fall into oblivion? Do I need to put up a fence for my slower companions?

Then suggest an alternative so you don't sound like you're just bitching for bitching's sake, if you actually care about the jump and aren't being contrary on a matter of principle.

Not sure. On one hand, that does sound fair. On the other hand, I was planning on playing the role of the extra-dimensional evil overlord plotting to invade the setting, and that becomes less impressive/believable if I only have the castle available in the jump itself. Eh, do what you think is right, Heavens.

What are the limits to FMA Alchemy?
Can it just transmute any substance into any other substance?
How far can a transmutation perpetuate through just clapchemy?
Would it be possible to shapeshift multiple alchemy circles on your hands for different effects?

No idea

Mundane i.e. baseline Earthly ones, certainly. Dunno about the rest.

Something like across a room? The real trick with formulas is needing more complex ones for more complex chemical reactions I think

And yeah

As long as it's strictly clockwork.

>An important thing I need to address is that a Netherworld is about the size of planet Earth, or at least a 'flat' version if we take Makai Kingdom into account, and has an amazingly schizophrenic geography.
Great tracks of land.

>Thus, having it available for access at all times is a bit of a mind-numbing prospect, even for a jump that's already of an insane scale.
Yeah I'm hearing you.

>So, here's what I was going to do. The Overlord's Castle and a lot of its basic functions can be accessed via Warehouse freely, but little else. Sounds cool.

>For civilization imports, the castle and the landmass around it would be valid. Unless there's a 'planet import', I don't see the whole thing seeing use.
How big is the landmass around the castle? Small country or like one of the smaller states in the U.S.A.?

>Obviously, post-chain, this restriction is gone regardless of whether you Spark or not.
Cool cool.

>Inactive companions can also hang out in the castle.
Always a plus in my book.

>How's this sounding?
All around a decent reward.
Quick question does Disgaea regenerating world carry over. Cause that shits awesome if so.
Please tell me if you can take Overlord Priere with you.

Withholding judgment but why are some of your companions so slow that they might walk off an edge into oblivion?

Idea! Having to buy the Dimensional Gate to get access to Islands of your Netherworld, therefore having your turf be something like the ones made by that one Perk in Terraia. Just an idea but how about that Heavens-user?

Hi
Thanks to tablusarosa for getting in touch with me, I have an updated WIP for Legend of Galactic Heroes. I'm soliciting (careful, calm down) for comments.
Here's a link: docs.google.com/document/d/1Q0kJB2SCf4wJzifuvxQD5nliFc1mKVML3B1llNX-Xy8/edit?usp=sharing

Absolutely.

In other news, I have apparently build myself up as a Shaman channeling the spirit of Santa Claus. I thought you might find this amusing.

Basically it can turn something (or a combination of things) into something of the same material and mass. So you could turn a fallen tree into a fence or a bucket of sodium and a bucket of chlorine into a bigger bucket of salt.

The one thing that cannot be done without shit going south is creating a living thing.

>why are some of your companions so slow that they might walk off an edge into oblivion?
They're the only ones who put up with me...

...

GIVE. I want to see this.

>That pic
Is it possible to raid a museum for bones and use a t-rex oversoul? Or does it have to be a human spirit?

Steven Universe possible flipflop #1

Gem 300

Cat Fingers 1000

The other day (or possibly yesterday, who remembers?) I made a build for Steven Universe using the Qixoni Crystal from KotOR as a gem for extra dark side.

After watching more of the show and thinking more about it I figured it was a shame to pass up Gem Power as it's arguably one of the most powerful elemental perks about (given Lapis raises the sea into space using hydrokinesis).

The only way not to go into painful/potentially risky drawback territory is to go Noble instead who get the perk free but lose some physical oomph.

The physical stuff isn't really as important as the odder powers and I figure that if the upper abilities of an experiment option were much better than the Gem Power perk it wouldn't be cheaper than it (or reference being similar to the more physical Quartz).

Shame that I wouldn't be able to refer to myself as Don Qixoni anymore. Well I suppose I still could, just not here.

It can in theory transmute any substance to any other substance. However, atomic transmutation is a lot more energy-intensive (and therefore, difficult) than molecular transmutation, so a good knowledge of the chemical compositions of everyday substances can be useful. Clapchemy can seemingly extend pretty far, not hugely but at least a couple hundred meters. Far farther, if you have alkahestry, transmutation at a distance is one of its big tricks. And yeah, you could just draw transmutation circles on the fly if you knew enough about them, effectively render clapchemy unnecessary.

If you can find a dinosaur ghost, you can use it. Might have a bit of trouble with that.

Thanks

Ravenloft

You can Oversoul anything, provided you can find its spirit. One of the minor supporting characters has a grey alien for her spirit ally, even. He's actually why the Patch have their advanced technology, they've got alien ghosts teaching them.

Santa Claus - Urban Legend Spirit (200 CP)
Base Reiyoku = 20,000
+ Hitodama Mode (Free)
+ Old Fashioned Fighting Spirit (Free) - Dual Whips
+ Elemental Aspect (200) - Ice
+ Conceptual Authority (300) - Metal
+ Memory-Dependent Image (100) - Air of Kindness
+ Haunting Place (100) - Workshop of the Warehouse
+ Mid-Tier Medium (100, Using Free item discount) - High Quality Whip

This is my write-up for him. This is in addition to myself buying the Spiritual Crafts perk (At full price, OUCH!).

The full write up for everyone will come a bit later.

Your enthusiasm to know makes me glad I accidentally a Santa.

...question. We can collect the spirits of those we defeat with that perk from Samurai Jack, the one based on Demongo. Could we use those spirits? Because now I really want to Oversoul Remiel or Zeruel.

Okay then, does anyone know of any jumps that would help with finding a t-rex ghost?

Also, if I decided to just buy one with the Above Average Ghost option, which tier best represents a t-rex? I'm guessing 300 CP because that seems where "dinosaur" would fit.

It's nice and solid. Loveing what I see.

Taken to it's greatest extreme you could, possibly, shift something around at the Atomic level so as to make something else but that's freaking dangerous as fuck. BBEG in FFMA Brotherhood did make a nuke/'small sun' at one point.

Ah, you just need better friends.

HA!

Isn't Gaunlet working on German Hollow Quest Jump still? If so I wanna canon companion Marr and then do just this!

Wow that's bullshit. Also aliens? Really!?

Nice build. Personally would have gone for sabers, do we have a Rise of the Guardians Jump?

>How big is the landmass around the castle? Small country or like one of the smaller states in the U.S.A.?

It probably varies. I think something like 1984 would be the size of a small country, while smaller things would be downsized to be world-appropriate. It's, at minimum, enough landmass to comfortably hold a castle.

>Spoiler
Yes. In either personality, even.

>Dimensional Gate

Will consider, but so far it looks like the 'bottleneck' idea will work for Jumpchain purposes. I'm not jumping the gun on this, though. I'm gonna give this several days and see what other suggestions I get before settling on it.

In the meantime, I kinda want to actually build and take a break for a bit.

Saber probably would have been a little bit cooler, but I was thinking of Santa and his sleigh and that's why the whips.

I'm going more for a Toymaker approach to the jolly elf than the Russian badass from Guardians. Admittedly, he is one of the cooler Santa images.

I can't help but wonder what Odin is going to think when I get to Dresden eventually.

Awesome.

Yes, but that's a bad plan. Hope you have lots of charisma perks.

300 seems about right.

That does take some (well, all. The vague possibility of more companions is what I'm in for now.) of the wind out of the metaphorical sails in running your own Netherworld for me, even if it's understandable.

While having an entire planet Earth following you around is ridiculous, maybe you could gate in-jump access to it a little bit less? Like, you can communicate with the rest of the place to actually do your job and maybe use a gate with a convenient context-sensitive menu that lets you go do things you actually need to do (such as putting uppity vassals in their place) but doesn't let you just faff around all day. Or you can try to conquer in-jump land and (assuming you actually succeed) start calling in demons to staff your colony.

>tfw this is the perfect early jump
>tfw you want to wait until you've got a full set of companions to jump it
UUuuuuuuugh.

Maybe you could have the Netherworld space expand with land conquered in material realm? Or slowly expand Netherworld's available space by each year in jump? Like Generic Dungeon Builder to a lesser extent?

Jurassic Park or Carnivores.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the Reconstructed Driver + Missing Piece + Never Gonna Say Goodbye allows you to freely access all of the Jumper Switches without purchasing them, and use them in any kind of combination you want, as long as you are using the Reconstructed Driver?

Also, if I purchase the package from the Neo-Heisei Part 1 that gives you most of Fourze's Astroswitches, can I apply this ability to freely combine and use Switches on those as well?

Also also, I absolutely love all of the work you put into these Jumps. You convinced me to start watching Kamen Rider a couple weeks ago, and I am already a fourth of the way through Fourze. Thank you all of the work you put into them.

If we're supposed to be the Overlord of this Netherworld, I think restricting our access to it goes against the spirit of what the title and position in-jump even means.

What sorts of things does magic in Shadowrun do? How does it stack up to places like Harry Potter, Dresden Files, Anima Beyond Fantasy, and Dungeons and Dragons?

That is exactly how it works, and yes! I'm glad you enjoyed them, they were fun to make.

On a scale of one to ten, how bad of an idea would it be to make Dio a "companion" with the Drop-In 600cp perk? For reference, said perk says that you have formed such a strong friendship with the character that a version of them will be in every future jump. I mean...that doesn't sound so bad?

Asking again
How far does the Goblin Made Sword from Harry Potter's 'imbibe that which makes it stronger' go?
Would exposing it to adamantanium make it more durable? Could it get the anti-whitewalker properties from valyrian steel or be able to hurt Beldr from mistletoe?

Fireball.
