This is the first coin since ANS that I've genuinely felt a lot of faith in, the market cap will be completely different come February

Yeh it's crazy. one of the few things out there that will actually solve a problem, and it launches in a few weeks.

Have a nice 15K stack, while trying to do swinging trading with an extra 1000. Might grab another 10k soon.

If every one of those tokens turns from $0.35 current to $1, it would still only be 135th place in coinmarketcap.

Would you sell your genetic data for a dollar?

Considering I'm going to die a sad, lonely virgin death, sure, why not?

The only reason it crashed down from 5000 sats is because of a whale with a 250k sell wall. Once it gets added to more exchanges it's going to explode

Hey OP, any links or info on this?

Really informative research review. Definitely worth a read to see what we're getting so excited about

reddit.com/r/Official_EncrypGen/

Any recommendations?
Just started investing in crypto, so relatively new to most of this.

Encrypgen is gonna moon hard. 5x by february

$DNA has an extremely low market cap, which is important because it means that the price is really low for the amount of circulating coins. So any volume at all flowing into the coin is going to cause it to rocket up. This includes getting added to a different exchange or just the news in a few days. If such happens you can realistically expect $2-5 per coin in the coming months. So if you can get in now at $.34 I say it's worth it

If Patitentory can get on Bittrex, who the fuck knows why Encrypgen couldn't?! ha ha

Ok, thank you.
How can I buy it?
I'm currently using coinbase, which kinda sucks, but is okay for the mean time.

They're going to force companies that want dna sequences to pay in their coin instead of writing a check?

signup on cryptopia.co.nz/ and transfer your BTC to your BTC wallet on that website. Then use the exchange to purchase DNA

Thanks! I appreciate the advice.

Happy to help! I'm trying to get as many bizbros as I can on this coin before it really takes off

No they're creating a platform for people to trade genomic metadata from connected labs around the world.

You could have your data sequenced, then put on their private blockchain and set up a smart contract to allow researchers to pay for access to it.

Researchers will be able to search the data from around the world and download all the ones that they are interested in to conduct research (e.g. specific diseases).

It's going to completely change the level of data available to genomic researchers and bioinformatitians. Pharma companies will be using this as more data gets added.

I'll definitely spread the word.

I want everyone to be prosperous!

Bullshit, Pumped 3x already 4 days ago.

That feel when you filled your bags sub 5m market cap.

I think I will get some more if it dips, though.

This is a very interesting concept!

Find the next thing you can apply this concept to or something similar and you'll be rich.

it was hideously under-valued and unknown before. now it's slightly better, but still has a LOT of room to grow.

Get Litecoin right now if you're trying to make quick money. It was leveled at around 320-330 these past couple of hours and now it's at about 340. I expect it to increase up to 450-500 by tomorrow.

Whats the best trading platform for that? People have been bitching about their accounts not getting verified for months

Jesus christ people are stupid if they can't verify their accounts.
I did it in less than 30 minutes of signing up.
I'm not too sure what is the best platform because a lot of them are relatively new and a majority of them don't trade all cryptos, but coinbase is great for keeping you up to date on prices. You can even set alarms for price drops/increases which is great when you want to buy/sell

Oh look, this shill again.
The problem with this coin is that it tries to present itself as a solution to a problem, the thing is if you knew anything about the topic, it would be a nobrainer that this is retarded and there is no problem in genomics like this to begin with.

That may be true, but if people buy into the bullshit, then there is money to be made. Regardless, some people will find it useful anyway. It only costs 34 cents, so I'm definitely investing at least 50-60 bucks. That's like a pair of jeans.

Do they have a decent mobile app? I can't bring my computer to work

I believe they do

these bags are getting heavy boys

In short, I don't really understand how some tokens get so much attention while others that are working away delivering results. We've got a token that is making huge steps forward, and is going to provide a case study example of how blockchain can change industries.

The token is Encrypgen($DNA), and here's a short summary of their upcoming news

Friday, they announce which genomic sequencing lab they'll be partnering with. Instead of getting testing with 23andMe who sell your data, you can use this company to add your anonymised metadata to a private blockchain, where you can set the smart contract to allow researchers and scientists for a price you set. Instead of someone else commercialising your genetic data, you control access to it.
By Christmas, you'll be able to upload your data if you've already received it from another sequencing company. You'll also be able to buy access so that you can search, buy and download other people's anonymised data for research.
In January, the full network goes live, with laboratories that have ALREADY PAID as customers to add their data will be operational
The full product goes live and will be presented to industry leaders by the CEO at the Festival of Genomics, London.

We've got hundred million cap companies that just have a whitepaper. Here we've got a $20m cap company, thats going to provide a new way of connecting labs around the world to improve research, in a £20billion industry thats going to double and more.

Welp, cant argue with that. Things dont need to be meaningful nor practical, they just need to seem that way so uninformed twats buy into them
I will probably work out as an investment in the short run, but it will die out as the utility fails to show up.

Exactly. Invest now, pull out later when you're content.

>No problem to be solved here
>Company already has paying customers

K.

The use of blockchain to store genomic data is just stupid, they are using the token to ride the hype and cash in funding instead of doing it like a usual startup.

You mean, taking 500k seed funding to start the business. Get some early traction by getting first customers and proof of concept, then taking $6m+ in a series A round to increase the rate of adoption around the world?

Man, yeh. If only they were doing exactly that

they don't store the data ON the blockchain, stupid. at least dyor before spouting next time

only have 4k~ but feels nice anyway

Next two weeks need to come faster.

>can't even align your team photos so they all look similar
>one photo is literally taken in a basement dwelling study

damn this team is LEGIT and this coin is gonna go OFF! WHERE DO I GET ON?!

>That feel when you realise some people in Crypto make their investment decisions based on team photos

>That feel when you realise people don't understand having a globally distributed team doesn't make having corporate photos easy or more important than building a product

>That feel when people who say they do their own research actually mean they look at spacing on a webpage rather than the tech thats built or the value proposition to customers vs. current pricing.

Then why did they need to make their own token instead using an existing one huh? It is nothing but a shady way to get funding.

Because they're trading genomic metadata on a specific private blockchain, called multichain, thats far more suitable to private data. Having this metadata indexed there allows for a machine learning supercomputer to run through the increasing datasets for research purposes

I think user was being sarcastic.

aesthetics are an indication of a secure and resolved mindset in your product
this is why people trust coinbase
design is an aspect of of a product's functionality, if the design reflects lack of care or attention to detail, then it is indicative of similar qualities in the end-product, and impact buyer and developer confidence

I skipped XRB and BitGrail for this very reason
aesthetics can indicate clarity of vision and resolve in the mind of the developer

user i read the whitepaper, and it was literally just words. if you got sold the pajeet bags, not my problem, that's yours. unlike yourself, gets it. have you ever wondered why Apple are able to successfully overcharge for their tech year after year after year? it's because Apple knows how to make shit look nice. these guys are LACKING compared to even the most pajeet of coins, such as ChainLink.

shill harder bro, nobody gives a flying fk about whatever Encrypgen is trying to achieve. consider that most Doctors or Scientists that would use such a product are 80year old fossils who need their to be taught how to use FB Messenger still.

if you're considering investing in Encrypgen, slap yourself in the dick and stop. go invest in something worthwhile + with good tech, like HST. their website looks good and so do their team photos.

go fuck yourself OP and his minions, I already got justed by HST. Not going to fall for this shill

Please post a picture of your body, so I can guess how good your argument is based on your aesthetics

>Thinks Encrypgen won't work because some of the target market includes doctors who are slow to adopt new tech

>Shills HST because it's got nice photos and a website, and their key target customer is the notoriously fast to adopt technology, government bodies.

good job user.

Are any of you nuf nufs aware they are doing another token burn one the 15th?

How did XRB work out after you skipped it because you didn't like the design?

I am a chad-faced mesomorph, however even quasimodo could design a functional interface, beautiful logo, etc. I would not judge a human being's mind, capabilities, or competency by circumstances outside of their control, such as physical appearance.

ask your girlfriend to show you my pics, they're on her phone bro.

I may be wrong, but I'm not bullish on it. I admit I was interested, but see it as ultimately a fly-over crypto on the way to superior technologies, the way dash/etc are.

btw are you feeling nervous?

So having a fit body and being a fat slob is outside of someones control?

Kek, spoken like a true burger

>Muh genetics

Boring

OK, i'll shit on you properly.

how many Genomics and Pharma companies are currently signing on to this tech, praising the coin and highlighting the use cases? give me 3 examples and I'll stop posting.

I dont shill this project - Im just making fun of they way he judges a project based on aestethics

DNA has delivered a 1.75x better return that Bitcoin over the same period of time. (total return to date, 13.4x)

I'm feeling nervous for sure, if this continues to get more attention and deliver on all the announcements they've got coming up, the amount of tax I'm going to have to pay will be insane

but he's right. are you blind or something? like literally blind? why do you think MonaCoin mooned so hard? hint: cause it has an anime girl on the coin. it's really that simple. if it looks good people will buy it. if it doesn't, they wont.

>anime girl on the coin

Full autismo

Then tell me why projects like OPUS Foundation didnt?

opus-foundation.org/

Go on...

>Codigo46 already signed up as a customer
>Partner sequencing lab being announced Friday
>SOPHiA Genetics signing on to use system

If you want to wait to see if GSK, Roche, and AstraZeneca get interested, that's cool. But if you're interested in early stage risk capital (practically every blockchain investment). Then having a small position in anything that has potential makes sense.

I'm not a burger.

I was going to elaborate on my point; that hygiene, style choices, diet, etc (if not cost/choice-restricted) obviously are aspects of physical appearance within someone's control. I assumed this was implied and I wouldn't have to tediously spoonfeed you all of the nuances of this obvious detail.

The level of aesthetics I'm describing is somewhat subtler, but enough to gauge the difference between something like pre-release No Man's Sky and Star Citizen. One released quickly, was uncomplicated, and is loathed. The other has a long-term investment and developmental roadmap, is very complicated and difficult to design, much care is taken for aesthetic and functional clarification of assets and gameplay, and serves as an overall long-term highly rewarding output of a clear vision and motivation of the lead developers, with an inspired and motivated community involved (if somewhat impatient, because unaware of the level of complexity involved in building it correctly). All in all, the latter will result in a highly engaging and immersive game, with an appreciative and confident player base immune to the flip-floppy trends of the market.

If you just want to flip quick bucks and pink wojack twice a month on every coin with a listing, feel free. There's enough stable funding in ICO's because devs can fork out of mistakes or into new opportunities, that you will probably earn on most early investments. This is a separate issue than patient thinking, vision and an intuitive grasp of these developing technologies and their implications and long-term utility function. It's a thin line between investing and gambling., and I find casinos repulsive.

good for you, i was more talking in generalities though
the encrypgen site/etc aren't all that bad
I was interested in it too, but FUDed on the lack of a real genetic market or need in the west at the current moment (past normie lust for identity-clarifying infographs), among other reasons.

I will probably buy the chinese version of this when it releases as the genetic technological domain is far less restricted there, has a cultural and governmental interest in the space and is unhampered by largely uninnovative pharmaceutical monopolies/tyrants in burgerland

I do believe ownership here means that you can sell your own data for whatever amount of $DNA you feel comfortable with.
Of course the price will be determined by market forces if you intend to actually sell.
