Looking for advice on gimmicky but effective CRB-only (+ traits) builds, specifically arcane casters.
Or I guess paladins if the above isn't possible.

Full review!
Diving into the nitty gritty of Everyman's Unchained Fighter.
Pros + 4+Int Skill points +Weapon training buffed, given to you at level 1 and grants you profiecency in everything in your first weapon group. Including Exotic weapons (Bastard swords are worth it now!) + Every single ability that Fighters already have, they keep. (Bravery, bonus feats, Weapon/Armor Training) + Stamina, Advanced Weapon Training, Advanced Armor Training are given to you for free. +Expanded AWT and AAT option lists. +Expanded uses for Stamina Including two class features (Spend stamina for Temp HP up to a max of damage taken, Spend stamina for Martial Flexibility) +Capstone is no longer one weapon but your chosen weapon group. + Several archetypes are updated to take changes to base class into account +Decent feats with a few ROFLWTF options (Vital strike on a charge!? with added multiplication on ever 5 over target AC!?!? NANI DESU KA!?)
Cons -Several of the new weapon/armor training abilites are flat out stolen from other classes(Precise strike and Resolve to name a couple), and a few options have wording that makes you do a double take. -Needed another editing pass before release, (More than a couple noticible copy pastes in the feats section. ) -The Art in the book isn't too good. -The Racial Weapon group Feats seem a tad redundant what with the weapon group options already in place.
Over all 7-8 out of 10.
Stamina management is very important, Fighters can get very powerful with a savvy builder at the helm.
Isaac Jones
Enjoy your theme park setting.

Post it up.
Hunter Ramirez
user, we're going to accuse you of being a shill if you don't at least dump screen shots
Alexander Jackson
Oh right, yeah gimme a sec
Charles Sullivan
Fuck it here's teh whole thing, Just support the official release. Or download it yourself and host it elsewhere.
Evan, you might be new here, but we don't support Agunas because we like to kinkshame and he very well might be a pedophile.
Luke Sanders
Also because he's a sick fuck that even makes other furries sick with his magical realm
MUH PANTHER RAPING YOU AND TURNING YOU INTO A HAWT CHESTY BABE
Christian Carter
The mechanics seem solid enough. Frankly i don't give a shit if his fetish is using children as a condom to fuck priests.
Charles Wood
thats great but everyone else does, his writing is also lazy and sucks
fuck off no
Jack Green
Agunas internet defense force please leave.
Gabriel Harris
Yesh, yeah, if that's gonna be how shits gonna go down, someone else can upload it.
I have a sinking feeling if i keep it up I'm gonna get my identity stolen.
Jackson Powell
>Not having a throwaway google account solely for interacting with the 4chinz
Total baka desu senpai
Nicholas Morales
Well, the issue is little Evan put his name on the document.
Robert Lewis
Welp so much for wanting to help random people on the internet. Cya when i end up killing myself due to hitting rock bottom.
John Diaz
Which adventure paths should I look at if I want to run for my players something with less of focus on combat and more on intrigue?
James Hughes
...
Brandon Clark
You did good user.
You just had really bad luck with the crowd. Removing it if it had your name on it was probably smart, though.
Gavin Thompson
So in the interest of not being a shill, but also not being a total fuck up by releasing my watermarked copy to the teeming masses of the internet (anymore than it already has been.).
Here's a few screen shots. Was gonna do this originally, but i decided it was gonna take too fucking long.
his advice is much better than his actual written rules which are consistently crappy
Kayden Turner
I haven't read any of his written rules but just saying that mechanics should be evaluated on their own merit. Call the writer a shit after you read over his stuff, not before.
Sebastian Roberts
i've read his stuff before and this shows no signs of being better
dude can't write decent rules, and he can't help but magical realm
Owen Collins
I didn't see any signs of magical realm... except the hilariously bad art maybe.
Jace Rivera
quite literally the magical realm
William Robinson
here's the class by itself in text only format via copy paste in a horrible format.
Grayson Torres
If Augunas isn't a furry than why does his fursona show up in almost every piece of art?
Carson Johnson
thats what i'm saying. The guy can't control himself from showing furries in EVERY PIECE OF ART FOR HIS BOOKS
Anyone got the one with a shrunken furry in a jar of piss?
Andrew Jenkins
Oh my fucking god that tiger has two right hands.
Noah Thomas
no its actually drawn correctly if its supposed to be a Rakshasa
Leo Young
Been waiting for a while to use this one
Levi Martinez
It's a Rakasha they have backwards hands, that is their telltale sign.
Robert Bailey
To be fair, that's possibly more Blackmon's fault than Augunas. It's not quite clear what the blame ratio is on that.
Luis Rodriguez
Doesn't hold a candle to Nerdy Captain America.
Jose King
It's more severe than that, user.
I'm saying he's not just a furry, he's a furry with a fursona he insists is not his fursona. Don't believe me? Look at how often that red-haired fox shows up all prominent in his stuff.
Jackson Lewis
ORIGINAL CHARACTER DO NOT STEAL
Evan Jenkins
Anyone?
Gabriel Hill
oh i'm more than aware.
Chase Rodriguez
Instructor wizard or exploiter Wizard. But really you need to specify what you want your gimmick to be.
Daniel Turner
Now before i go to work, I'm gonna leave you guys with something that i thought was a tad too much.
Charging Momentum (Weapon Mastery) You use the momentum of your charge to deal devastating damage to your opponents. Prerequisites: Str 13, Vital Strike, fighter level 5th, weapon training with a melee weapon. Benefit: Whenever you charge an opponent and make a single melee attack at the end of your charge, you can attempt to strike with devastating force. You can apply the Vital Strike feat to this attack. You can apply the Improved Vital Strike or Greater Vital Strike feat to your charge instead if you have either of those feats. In addition to those feats usual effects, for every 5 by which your charging attack roll exceeds the target’s Armor Class, increase the number of times that you roll your weapon’s damage dice with the Vital Strike, Improved Vital Strike, or Greater Vital Strike feats by 1, up to a maximum number of additional rolls equal to your weapon training bonus (minimum 1). You cannot benefit from this feat while using any ability that allows you to take multiple attacks at the end of a charge, such as the pounce ability. Combat Trick: Whenever you make a charge attack while using Charging Momentum, you can spend up to 6 stamina points. For every 2 stamina points you spend, your weapon training bonus counts as being 1 higher for the purpose of determining the maximum number of additional weapon damage rolls that you can make with this feat.
Josiah Russell
Woops missed the crb only thing, the answer is still wizard or sorcerer, but you need to figure out what you want your gimmick to be.
Wyatt Martin
Who cares if he's a furry? It's the rape panthers I'm worried about.
Jordan Scott
>CRB only
Jesus.
Levi Jones
I don't know, what's viable? Last thread I mentioned Blaster or Enchantment as my opening post, and was told to play Cleric or Druid instead.
Christopher White
Because he can't hide his magical realm of being a furry
I'm a furry. I don't shove that shit into my games and down people's throats. If I wrote a book I'd certainly not put furshit everywhere because it would be magical realm and cringy as fuck
Augunas can't help himself.
Benjamin Morris
I can't remember what all is in CRB but you can literally play Wizard or Sorc and do whatever you want and be ok
Jonathan Parker
Having furry characters isn't the bad part. I don't care if he has furries in every piece of art I do hate how badly they're drawn, though. Seriously, kitsune, gnolls, ratfolk. Whatever, toss them in. But don't make your embalming fluid look like piss in childhood adventures. Don't even write rules for playing diaper-clad adventurers, especially given your rape and lust fantasies in other books. The work would be just as creepy if they weren't furry.
Josiah Williams
This is on point, but I'm also upset at him for trying to deny he's a furry any chance he gets.
It's a fetish, everyone has fetishes, lying only makes it worse.
Sebastian Bell
So Weapon Training caps out at +6 (+4 plus gloves of dueling), and with Stamina that would be a +9 maximum. Assuming you beat the target's AC by 45 you could get the max damage.
So using a Greatsword (2d6) and Greater Vital Strike (4x dice), your max damage would be 26d6, averaging 78 damage.
Which honestly deals less damage than an appropriate-level Zenith Strike maneuver.
Matthew Carter
Why not get the effective and actual size increases so the base weapon is 4d6?
Bentley Anderson
No archetypes, no specialist wizard school variants, no favored class bonuses, no dazing spell, no intensify spell, no persistent spell, no piercing spell, no elemental spell, no threnodic spell, no spell specialization, no spell perfection, no +Perception or Initiative familiars
Aiden Cox
and you'll still be fine
Nicholas Wright
Because I was just doing basic numbers for scale. Though even if you increase the damage die, it would still deal less damage than an appropriately-leveled maneuver (or even a lower-leveled maneuver).
Lincoln Hall
Blaster is kinda inadvisable, as your damage output will be pretty mediocre with core-only. I'd also advice against too tight focus on offensive enchantment spells, as many enemies will be immune(and with core-only, you won't have ways of bypassing the immunity). So if you focus on enchantments, remember to supplement the offensive spells with buffs and maybe illusions that don't have mind-affecting tag.
Ayden Cox
Well depending on the materials available (ie 3.0 and 3.5 material) you could get a minotaur greathammer which does 1d12 19-20/x4 damage. Make it a gold or platinum so it's 3d6 damage, and then have the caster cast greater mighty wallop, which at CL 16 would increase it 4 size categories to 12d6 damage per hit.
Connor Fisher
Okay, but if you did the same thing with a Zenith strike which would do more damage?
Nathaniel Richardson
Probably the vital strike line eventually. Double and triple would be higher when you got them, but eventually you'd be throwing out 48d6 every round, before counting in the additional damage from going intervals of 5 over their ac.
Benjamin Wood
So overall the UFighter got a couple of little things that were already options and underpowered anyway, none of which really expanded anything aside from more of the stuff they could already do, even the "broken" charging strike feat.
Seems par for the course.
Josiah White
Are there stats for living paintings enemies? Don't really feel like stating up some paintings for a one off room.
Christopher Thomas
What is your metric for underpowered?
Logan Reed
Assuming I don't automatically end up with a 'retarded trap build' by playing an arcane spellcaster was was said in the previous thread, is there anything fun and effective that I can specialize in besides just doing whatever?
Anthony Harris
there is no retarded trap build if you're playing a full caster.
Logan Clark
That's not true, you could easily take way too situational spells and leave yourself worthless, especially if you're spontaneous.
Ryder Clark
I like the second wind class feature. Just say "nah dude, that last hit didn't count" for minute.
James Bell
>Character concept perfectly fits two classes >Feels off picking just one of them >Game isn't Gestalt >>>>>Multiclassing Anyone here have experience with tech classes? Should I play Tinker or Gearhead?
Jace Gray
will Paizo ever give Lizardfolk the love they deserve? Or are Lizardfolk doomed?
Jaxson Gonzalez
Underpowered, as in "neither Stamina nor the Advanced Training stuff really made fighters much better than before". Even with those options, Barbarian still stands out as the better class. Or hell, Vigilante.
The fighter doesn't really need more options for big damage. The charge feat is nice, but I'd rather they got something like Bladed Dash, not to mention needing some degree of utility and movement options.
And the fast healing they get from Second Wind is laughable. Unless you're fighting a normal goblin at level 10 everything will be doing more damage than you can recover with every hit they land, it costs Stamina, can't go over your max and goes away after one minute.
Isaiah Rogers
DOOMED
Cameron Collins
As a monk is AC 32 ok for a 9th level char without magic item enhancements for AC?
Caleb Gomez
The average CR 9 enemy has a +16 to hit bonus on their first attack so it's pretty effective.
Mason Watson
I want to be that elf, holy shit.
One day I'll get to play pathfinder and be the QT elf waifu. One day.,
Jeremiah Stewart
some day we'll all get to play pathfinder
Landon Hill
A character decides to slice a part of a summoned creature (not enough damage to kill the monster), and then proceed to eat that. The summon creature is then killed or dismissed while he's still eating. What happened?
Evan Phillips
summons don't make any sense in the first place
Jonathan Parker
The sliced off bit goes away. Summoning gets you a "not really summoned" creature, at least as we think of summoning. Conjuring gets the creature to actually appear for real. Slices from a conjured creature will remain.
Jacob Walker
Imo since you can't "kill" summoned creatures (for the most part) I'd say that any pieces you chop off just vanish
Blake Brown
Think of summoning as creating a magical echo of the creature and it makes a lot more sense Ergo the chopped off piece just disappears in a puff of magic. Unless the chopped off piece can still do stuff.
Robert Hernandez
Generally speaking which is more useful: A severely weakened version of Leadership (minions don't have class levels, you get way less of them) Or A severely weakened Wizard (less spells, small list, lower DCs, gimped crafting)
Grayson Davis
The latter, assuming it doesn't include a cohort.
NPCs without class levels are literally just unseen servants with names; they're useless for anything that would require a decent skill/attack/etc. roll.
A gimped wizard can at least be used for spells that don't require strong DCs.
If the crippled leadership option DOES have the cohort, it wins.
Ian Gutierrez
I want you to be that elf too, user.
You're already a cutie waifu though, I just want to see you happy!

>jade regent >you spend literally half of the fucking books in not in Tian Xia What fucking genius thought this up?
Blake Gray
>smuglings
Matthew Sullivan
You gotta build it up, user. The familiarity of Avistan goes away in an arctic gale and, when the storm relents, you're somewhere *different.*
The first half of Book 4 is absolutely fantastic for just that reason.
Michael Edwards
Would anyone mind if I rant about my last session in here?
Jacob Robinson
>You gotta build it up, user Do you seriously need 3 books of it though. A book, maybe a book and a half seems sufficient.
Brody Jackson
As long as it doesn't involve kitsune posting or lewds.
Christopher Gomez
That's what this general is for.
Luke Wright
Is it guardina mythic parth as bad as people make it to be?
Juan Moore
i mean no mystic path is bad its just that the others are way better
Mason Hall
Most of Brinewall Legacy and Book 3 are important, however if you trimmed off the fat and condensed Book 2 I can totally see it being done in at least two books.
Liam Wilson
Do you really mean that, user?
I just want to be the cute, helpful waifu to a party and help tend their ills and mend their wounds, to keep them together and on-task in the face of stress and adversity.
Luis Sullivan
Is there any way to swap cha for wis on sense motive checks?
Jason Jackson
user, I am speaking to you from my heart of hearts when I said what I did.
And now you're only reinforcing what I said by wanting to be the party mom! It's so rare to find people truly passionate about being in that role, and if I ever saw you apply for a campaign as one I'd certainly give it serious thought to join in.
You have a smile worth protecting, user.
Levi Mitchell
It's kind of a long story, but the short version is, my character has severe social anxiety, and the party teases him a lot to get a rise out of him. He's the only guy on the team, so he's an easy target, especially since he has no experience with women.
In the last session, they teased him by discussing putting him in a maid uniform, then wiping his memory of it. He made the bard (the only party member who didn't tease him) promise to tell him if that ever happened, and she did.
At the time, the party was working with a mad alchemist to blow up the drug trade, but Claw didn't trust her because of her compulsive lying, and her love of slipping potions to people.
The group, along with he alchemist, went out drinking, and the alchemist (the DM's NPC, by the way, I'll call her J) slipped something into the drinks. My character utterly failed his Fort saves, and started drunkenly calling her out on her hypocrisy. Her response was to charm him with an enchanted ring. The group then took him upstairs and dressed him up as a maid. When he finally snapped out of it, the bard, his only friend, used a Suggestion song on him, to make him have fun. It didn't work because he was exhausted from being forced to dance for them, and he blew up on them. The DM tried to bulls hit his way out of me using Hold Person on J by saying I was too tired to use it, but some of the players talked him out of it. My character tried to cast Fireball on her, but was stopped by the party leader, who realized they had gone way too far. They shared one hell of a nice moment, pure character development gold. But then the DM had J pull out some incense that wiped everyone's memory, just so his precious NPC wouldn't get in trouble, at the cost of the first character development I've ever had with this party.
And that's what I'm pissed about. My character was finally going to get some respect, and things were going to change big time, but the DM erased through powergaming.
Angel Butler
>mfw this exchange
Can confirm that having an elf party mom a best. Protecting that smile is always worth it, no matter how many monsters and creepy stalkers I have to fight off.
