Sexual harassment isn't really the proper term but what you did was definitely unprofessional. Sexual topics, religion, and politics are things you just cannot talk about at work. It's not appropriate. What you did is way beyond inappropriate by those standards and anybody that disagrees with this hasn't worked a day in their life in a corporate setting.

There probably isn't much you can do at this point except wait to see if upper management wants to pursue it. Hopefully they don't and the girl just drops it but if not, you really don't have a leg to stand on especially if you signed some kind of work conduct agreement when you started there.
