Mine are the Fists Exemplar, they long outlasted their progenitor's, the Imperial Fists!

This even a challenge?

My favorite are The Hanged!

Don't they specialise in attrition warfare? I've heard they can take a pounding an still keep comming. Whatever their objective, they always take it in the end.

Are you retarded? The IF still exist.

This nigga gets it.

Knot bad.

>Fists Exemplar
,Are you being a jokester, OP? these guys were thrown to the wind after the war of the beast

only correct answer

It's a MEME you dip. A prank! A goof! A ruse!

They do, but they also aren't too shabby at Lightning Strikes. When they find a vulnerable in the enemy posistion they show no mercy. They strike Hard when the Enemy least expect it, penetrating Deep into the gaping break in the enemy position. Once there, they unload all of their Firepower into the opening, pounding the enemy mercilessly for hours. Only once they have blown through their ammunition, do they return from the opening, leaving the Enemy raw and aching from the pounding they just received.

Open wide, because here comes the spoon!

>Literally who outlasted a founding chapter

If it is (and this is 6e) you would reroll misses in that challenge.

>The IF still exist.
The First Founding chapter died. The """"""Imperial Fists"""""" of M41 are all spawn of second founders.

Except against Tau. They get their asses handed to them in every engagement in fluff where Tau feature.

Otherwise they're pretty operator, but get relegated to random Space Marines that need to get trashed so the Ultramarines can shine through.

Lol, K m8

Cool fan fic

Serious question though, why does this matter? Wasn't their destruction within the timeline that some of the Primarchs were still alive? The Second Founding chapters may have literally been made up of dudes who palled around with Dorn and fought in the Heresy right?
And it's not like wiping out the Traitor Legions would be, by the "present" in the background all of those Imperial Fists would have already been dead anyway.
Honestly, the Fists getting exterminated and rebuilt (by guys who have literally the same geneseed) seems like a cool addition to their fluff, not a bad one. I haven't read the Beast series, but I'm actually perplexed about this.

It doesn't matter. The Fists Exemplar have as much right to be labelled Imperial Fists as the Imperial Fists do themselves, as both derive directly from the original legion.

But people still botch.

What is it with Sons of Corax and them being BTFO by Tau constantly?

You guys realise that this is canon, right?

you mean those guys who turned traitor by joining the Iron Warriors during the Beast series?

I like these guys and the Doom Eagles. Painting my current army up as Doom Eagles because olive drab is a boring paint scheme.

Stealth doesn't work against an enemy with vision hacks that can do stealth better.

...

GW got a huge boner for Tau expansion (and giant walkers). No matter if it means they have to outdo everyone in the process.
Which pisses me off to no end since I picked Tau for the opposite reasons during 3rd edition.

I'm all for Dorn's fags getting killed, but I would love some proof.

Except, every time someone beats on the best sellers, they get their ass handed to them. You have to understand the Tau is saved, time and time again, by the fluff-shield (GW´s sales). And every time the Imperium of man comes knocking on their door, every imperial commander becomes about as talented as a 5 year old kid with learning difficulties.

Of course all weeboo fags and man child playing the fucking Xenos will shout and scream at the slightest hint of this. "because obviously, its the Tau´s superior battle plans, and fire power that wins the day!", fucking idiots, don't even have a warp drive.
Had I been in charge of GW black library, you would have a 4 page comic of a Imperial fleet, just warping in to the central planets, and doing the exterminatus. Picking one planet at a time of, one by one. Without leadership, Tau is nothing but barbarians anyway.

No fucking question. The Red Talons are bad motherfuckers.

I hear they have problems withdrawing their forces after a successful strike.

Bad logistics probably.

>Canon
>Doesn't post said canonical proof

Read I am Slaughter for the Fists dying
The Last Son of Dorn, for the last Imperial Fist dying
and Shadow of Ullanor for the Imperial Fists' death being swept under the rug by their successors repainting their armor yellow.

EZ. Astral Knights. Nothing is more 40kesque than sacrificing your entire chapter to kill a single necron doomsday machine. All while being the baddest motherfuckers ever.

But they released the C'tan who created it to the galaxy in the process. It remains to be seen if it was worth it.

Is that russell brand.

He said CANONICAL proof user.

Black Library is canon when it's conductive to making people mad. No one reads that garbage because it's good.
