Updated version and reposting.

Changelog-
Jumper class now gets personalised class name for free.
Witchcraft has the EX rank in it's box where it should be.
Sader drawback.

You can buy MEoDP for EX with Mystic Eyes. It is not purchaseable as it's own Skill.

You can't do custom Skills, that's the reason the Skill list is here at all.

Sure but it'll only be magic items on the level that Magus use and without an additional family art, probably somewhat generic without assistance from an outside source.

>no custom skills
Well fuck. Not sure why I thought it was an option, but I guess that makes sense to keep things from getting cheesed to hell.
NPs are still custom order right? Also speaking of Noble Phantasms the notes at the end for them don't exist. Did they get cut off?

NPs are custom yes.

As to the notes, apparently I forget to finish the last two. I'll add them in later since it's not too important and there'll probably be other feedback to take into account.

>there is a companion import and this body is available in hose jumps right? What would it be under?
Yes, both The Polity and Eclipse Phase have options for companion imports or may be used to make OC companions.

The body pictured is the Galatea synthmorph in the Eclipse Phase jump. Costs 400cp but all jumpers and companions get a 600cp morph/augmentations allowance. It's a high-end designer morph for social interaction, which synthmorphs usually suffer in, so it's quite an uncommon model, but wouldn't be out of place anywhere civilized.

If I use a servant as the base of my Demi Servant build will their master have to summon someone else due to their canon servant being stuck as a voice who gives me advice?

No, whoever you pick for Demi Servant is entirely separate from any other Servant related thing. If you pick Heracles, Ilya still summons Heracles. They're both just copies of the original, so neither is replaced by the other.

Skills that exist in Fate but aren't on the supplement's skills list don't count as custom, do they?

Also, a few other questions
1) If I get a skill that has a stat rank-up, and already have an EX in that stat, what happens?

2) Are Demon King A and Self Modification A basically free-shapeshifting skills?

3) If I take Hero's Bridesmaid A, will I be able to see the HS's legend without risking falling for them? What about with EX?

Does Born Through Fire affect powers bought in jump or only powers from outside the jump?

>If you pick Heracles, Ilya still summons Heracles.
Damn, well that plan failed.

Time for plan B.
Can Jumper Class be completely free form? As in not be based on anyone or something else to the tune of "has whatever you are willing to pay for"?

I want a build based on just buying my favorite skills and NPs.

If it's not in the supplement, it can't be taken. It's explained in a few places in the supplement the reasons why. The most common reason is "It has no information on it"but a few do have info but I want to wait for more, like with Musashi's eye thing.

If it's already at EX, you'd just get a boost equal to a normal rank up, but it wouldn't actually change the EX ranking.

Demon King no, it's just a limited one. Think of it more as you switching between your real form and the one that's based on stories of you, with higher ranks making that story based one stronger. This is one of the ones that suffers a lot from lack of info yes.. Self Modification is shapeshifting but it takes some time to do. Think of it more like self surgery/experimentation but really good.

I'd imagine so at A rank.

Both.

Any class can be freeform. As the option details, you can either have Demiservant be based on someone and get that person as a sort of Biju to your Jinchuriki, or you can just have a blank, formless spirit that does nothing but contain whatever you've bought and is otherwise nonsentient.

Hi val, just curious-what could Taijitu, Consummated Shape and Signs of a King do at EX rank?

In worm if I use the Thanatos power to kill Manton will the power gain the effects of siberian or would it gain the ability to create another projection that is the siberian? I wanna get Spree and Mantons powers cause it'd make fighting things like the endbringers rather simple.

Two questions, do we get discounts for plus and the boost to EX for a stat we have a discount for (like, for example, a Saber boosting Strength to EX would be 175 or adding a plus to Agility would be 50)? Also, if we were to boost Excalibur (going by the Rin! Arthuria build) to EX, would it be able to match Ea?

Why isn't Knight Tactics on the list yet? It seems to be self-explanatory.

I think that's something you gotta fanwank, unless I missed something Worm said about it. I wouldn't get my hopes up though, if they were that easy to ice Eidolon would've done it ages ago

>Taijitu
Probably give you the effects of both variants at once, maybe allow you to sacrifice physical energy for health or magical energy too.

>Consummated Shape
Let you restore your body as long as there's a fair amount of land at all, rather then just magical energy, and you'd need far less magical energy to do it the original way.

>Signs of a King
Probably give a full rank up instead and be able to be used far more often.

Yes, you get discounts to pluses and EX ranks, though not to the undiscounted additional surcharge for additional EX ranks. Please read the section at the start of every chapter that has prices in it that details how prices and discounts work, they're there for a reason.

I'd imagine it should be able to match Ea yes.

Because it's a composite skill, which are banned for obvious reasons. It's effectively just a combination of things like Eye of the Mind (False) and Instinct. If you buy the things that it's made up off you can write it down as that.

Excellent, then I know exactly what I'm doing. Loading up on drawbacks and buying lots of random things I think are cool.

>combination of things like Eye of the Mind (False) and Instinct
Neither of those say they let you cause the opponent to make a mistake.

I think that's up to personal wank at this point.
The description is rather vague on how the power transfer works, and I think that was the point. More freedom, ya dig?
So you could say that your projection has a projection (projectionception!), or you could say your projection now has the Siberian's qualities in some way.
Either way, it's pretty awesome.
Be sure to kill Moord Nag too, she's one of those 'single minion Masters' too, and hers gets stronger through murder, just like Thanatos.
But what said, it'll take more than just the Siberian and Spree's powers combined to kill a single Endbringer, let alone 3 or more.

Indeed, it's better then the sum of it's parts. I guess you can't get it after all.

Might see if I can work out a system to allow for some of the composite skills to have extra prices added onto the composing parts to allow them to be bought, since a few do that.

Huh had to do a rebuild for my Caster Demi-Servant so I guess I'll just leave this here: pastebin.com/miVS74n3

If any of you anons are interested in Muramasa I think this was a great personification.

...wow, I...didn't even see that somehow. Welp, time to commit sudoku.

Some of the drawbacks say they cannot be taken you have certain other options that render them a non issue, could you instead have the relevant options disabled if they would neutralize a drawback?

Would it really take more? I mean have the advantage of knowing their weakness and the siberian can just go through almost all their layers to get to the core. I woulda thought adding in say a hundred siberians would work. But yea there are a few capes I wanna gank for powers. Although I'd probably have to resurrect them after. God Panacea, Bonesaw and Nilbog combo would be fun.

What would Enlightenment of the Sacred Fig A+++ do?

Thank you! One last question: Does taking both Blossoming Journey and Riding at EX Rnak do what I think it does?

Doesn't really work because most of the ones that applies to aren't so much "Your abilities negate this" as it is "It makes no sense that you suffer at all from this".

For example, a DemiServant No Natural Mana Replenishment makes no sense because they don't rely on their Master for energy, they generate their own, so a drawback that makes their Master not give them any energy does nothing. It's not that the option negates the drawback, it's that the drawback never has any effect on you. Like a drawback that makes you lose your wings would have no effect on someone who never had any wings.

The same as at EX, but it only blocks 99% of your current health level.

I have no idea what you're talking about. It's not something lewd is it?

And I just realised I forgot to mark which drawbacks were blocked to who. Which is very important and I totally forgot like an idiot.

Speaking of Riding EX, it says you can't ride anything except for spaceships, is this a typo?
If not, would Toggle work to downgrade it to A++(+), for when I need to ride things other than spaceships?

Sorry, that was just the one usable canon example. EX rank, if it's not limited to spaceships (I'll update it to make that clear) pretty much lets you ride anything, even Dragons, and lets you boost whatever your riding way higher then it normally goes.

Thats kind of broken outside of fighting gods yeah? I mean if someone could kill you twice over in one shot it doesn't really help, but anything less is going to be effectivly the same as having it at EX. Is there a reason that EX level is banned but the rest aren't?

If I took elemental magecraft as my specialization in the jump plus the magic crest, on which level would those spells be? I'd say a fair bit stronger than Rin's because apparently my family would be far older than her's but I'd like your opinion.

I seen to remember talk about a Looking for Group jump a while ago, did anything come of that?

Would Dignity of the Rearguard EX basically make it so every time and no matter how much you're basically fucked metaphorically, you won't be anymore?

It reduces as your health does. Meaning at the start, yes it'd take an extremely strong hit to hurt you. It is EX rank and they're meant to be strong. After that, it gets weaker and weaker and a certain class of beings can break through without even paying attention to it.

Quite a fair bit better, both because her gems are more general then just elemental stuff and because your families been around for a bit longer.

Not unless the Skill wants an EX/NO it won't. It'll give you a massive boos, much higher then lower ranks, but it will still cap out.

Anyway, this should be the last update for tonight. Anything else can wait for tomorrow.

Makes it clear that Riding can be general or specialised on one thing.
It's noting that No Natural Mana Replenishment and Personality Clash can't be taken as part of Demi Servant Builds.

Well if you're sure about keeping it that's fine.
I'm just wondering why EX is banned when the difference between A+++ and it is just 1%.
Is there no overflow above total health or something that would make EX invulnerability?

I mean it doesn't really matter since getting the last 1% probably isn't worth the sp, but it seems like kind of an odd cut off.

Either way. Gnight Val. See you tomorrow.

Oh damn, I just realized that EX clairvoyance is banned. There goes my "I see everything" build.

See ya, later.

Question for when you come back:
Could I summon Fem!EMIYA? Stupid I know but it seems like it could be funny.

Because that 1% is the difference between non divine opponents being able to hurt you and maybe beat you and you being completely invincible to anything that is not divine. It's very small but makes a world of difference.

I'm not going to bed, just saying that that's the last update of the Supplement for a while as I don't want to spam.

It still is? Shit, sorry, it's not meant to be. Think that was me thinking Solomon had it at EX and it was really broken but I was thinking of something else when I checked.

You can take it at EX, no worries. I'll change it back tomorrow morning, my bad.

EMIYA can only be summoned in FSN and GO but yes, you can summon FEMIYA

So damage does effectivly cap at your max HP for Divine fig purposes? Because otherwise at EX level if someone hit you for more health than you had you'd still get hurt.
If it does then I totally get why the ban is there.

>only be summoned in FSN and GO
Damn, was hoping to use that to gank the archer class in the Zero war. Fucking Gilgamesh grumble, complete bullshit grumble grumble.

IIRC Endbringers aren't even supposed to be beatable, with just in-setting stuff.
The only time one was killed canonically, was by Scion, whose beam attack can disintegrate pretty much anything.

Endbringers have a sort of built in resistance to powers, just to prevent that sort of thing from happening, I think.

Sort of a 'rocks fall, everyone dies' level dick move on Wildbow's part, but it does make a bit of sense.

You wouldn't want your lab rats circumventing your experiment parameters, would you?
Same thing.

Not sure. You should probably ask again, about 12 hours from now.
Burgerland will be out of school and back online by then.

I do wanna kick it with Richard, tho.

....you know, I think I've completely misunderstood this Skill for years now and only you pointing this out has fixed that. Holy shit my mind is boggling.

Okay so uh, I'll take of the EX/NO on Sacred Fig since it apparently works differently then I thought all this time.

Quick question before you head off, could the boosted Sakura Viewings affect something like fear? Like, if you frighten someone, it evolves into a sort of primal terror where you showing up causes them to freeze like a deer caught in the headlights, someone they would see as The Dreaded.

Like I said, not heading off, just not updating the thing again till tomorrow.

And yeah, fear seems a okay. Also very fun.

Is there are reason EMIYA can only be summoned in S/N and GO?

He's not normally a Heroic Spirit. He only gets into FSN because of an outside force interfering and GO is a unique situation that doesn't really stick to any of the grail rules. Oh, and you can get him in Fate Extra, my bad for not mentioning that.

Hey, why is Summoning skill in banned list?

Would something similar to Illya's familiars work for Family Art?

Even if you do beat an Endbringer with OOC powers another Endbringer will take their place to challenge you in new ways.

It's only banned at EX level. Please read the entire page. The info's not there just to extend the page count, it's important. It's banned at that level because that's the level Solomon used to do a lot of bullshit in GO. It'll be available at a later time.

As for why it's not on the Skill list, that's me being dumb and forgetting even after Worm kindly reminded me, so I'll add that.

That's just under Alchemy, though they're really high level stuff so if you want to be doing that right off the bat, you'd need Artificial Lifeform too. Otherwise you might not be able to make too many.

So, what is summoning like at A to A+++ ?
Also what is Familiars skill at A to A+++ ?

>That's just under Alchemy, though they're really high level stuff so if you want to be doing that right off the bat
Would Family Art (Alchemy) and Magic Crest (Alchemy) together let me replicate them? I have plenty of mana.

We've got nothing but EX rank so it's a bit hard to guess and subject to changing in the future. I'd imagine it'd be related to summoning various monsters and servitors, with higher ranks letting you summon more and stronger types though they'd take energy from you to maintain. At A+++ you'd probably be able to summon a small handful of Servant level creatures, though they'd take quite a cost. You'd likely be able to make a small army of much less creatures though. Lower ranks give less so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

Familiars just gives the ability to control much more numbers of your chosen animal over a much larger area. Sorry but I don't really have any exact measurements and it'll take me a bit to try and find something to base off of.

>not just abusing Anima psychics for your see every thing needs
First get some kind of unlimited multitasking. Overlord or Legacy of the Aldenta should have that.
Pick up some serious mental and physical fortitude through various means. You'll need it to not die so it's very important. Stack fucking everything you can be it will, smarts, some kind of perfect memory, toughness, grit, fuck it grab them all.

Then get at least a little dabbling in psychic power in Anima. You don't need any more than the perk that gives you access, but the unlimited mental energy will make this a lot easier to maintain.

You're going to want to grind up level three in the teleportation discipline found in Arcana Exxet to get access to Aleph.
This lets you view an area from all angles at once. At maximum potential that area is the entire universe so with perfect and unlimited multitasking you can actually focus on every possible facet of the universe at once.
The strain of this will be absolutly immense and potentially crippling/fatal, but hey it's the next best step to omnicience so it's got to be worth something.

Hey Epicureanon did you make your Kubo jump more readable? It does look pretty but it hurts my eyes. I wanna jump it but I can't decipher the text.

So, what rank of summoning would Gilles' Cthulhu and company be equivalent to??

I'd imagine you might be able to summon the same giant thing at A+++. The little guys wouldn't take more then say...D or C? They're pretty foddery for Servants.

What does the inside of the Gate of Babylon look like?

What would Gilles' Cthulhu stats be like in servant terms?

>Dragon Witch EX
>Go to MtG
>Get Nicol Bolas as maid

Is that one NP that reduces all damage by 90% a valid NP?

Problably high strength (due to size), but a shitty Endurance.

I have no clue.

Tops out at Fafnir, from Nasuverse.

Like the last time, yes, Kavacha and Kundala is a valid NP.

I like Jumpchain but I can't get myself to enjoy anime. Wat do?

Don't do anime jumps.

Read the mangos instead.
If you use this board then you must like reading and images so it should be a perfect match.

Then don't jump anime settings. Or read the source material. Most anime are based on manga or light novels.

Any particular reason you don't like anime?

Try reading the manga or the LNs?

Sure but that leaves only like a dozen jumps.
I've tried but it doesn't appeal to me either.
Not sure why I don't like it. It's just weird and too slow? I liked DBZ as a kid (the manga, hated the anime.) But since then I've only enjoyed a few of the Ghibli movies.

>Only a dozen
So you're just trolling then.

Yo people, ignore the guy. He's just looking to shitpost or something.

Yeah, I think to only have a dozen Jumps left you'd have to remove the ones from American+Japanese franchises.

We have a lot of Jumps.

Well, everybody's got different taste.
If you really want something from a setting you can always just read some plot synopses and ask any questions here.

>and ask any questions here
Or look at the wikia. Everything has a dedicated wiki these days.

I'm too lazy to check but I'd say more that half the jumps could be described as weaaboo shit or cartoon shit
Not that I have a problem with that

Looking through the list, you'd need to cull the British ones too.

What about jumps based on video games?
Books?
TV Shows/Movies?
Any of those interesting?
Because there are plenty of them.

>only like a dozen jumps.
Overlord, Vidya
Warhammer(all of them in one slot, just to make it easier on you)
Lord of the Rings
Harry Potter
Star Wars(See Warhammer)
Harry Dresdon
Pretty sure we have a Discworld jump
Twilight
Van Helsing
Marvel Comics(see Warhammer)
DC Comics(see Warhammer)
Doom
Total War Franchise
Song of Ice and Fire
Paradox Games(see Warhammer)
Eragon
Avernum
Farcry

Fallout(see Warhammer)
Civilization(see Warhammer)
Saints Row
Supernatural
Buffy
Firefly(as a note I'm surprised no one tried to make Dr.Horrible)
Ben 10 is either done or in the works, I'm not sure
Dwarf Fortress

I could go on if you like, this is all off the top of my head

I exaggerated for comedic effect.
Yeah I kinda do that.
Sure and I do those.
I made a mundane chain which consisted of
>Breaking Bad
>Comedy
Musician
>Nine to Five
>Slice of Life
>Sitcoms
>The Fast and the Furious
>Youtube
>Generic Children's Television Show
>Generic Medical Drama
>Generic Video Game Developer
>Gonzo Journalism
>GTA
>Mad Men
>Mob
>Modern Action Movie
>Investigation
>Heist
>Career Model
>007
>Sports
>West Wing

(Not in that order)
But once I did those it became a lot harder to find stuff I know and like. Also I don't play videogames much. Which I get makes me a crazy hermit. I don't blame Jumpchain for my problem btw I know it's me who's got weird taste.

Not sure if you know this but non anime and mundane are very different things.

Why did you give Casters a discount on Luck instead of a Personal Skil discount?
The skill discount made more sense for Casters.

I know, I moved on to supernatural/superpowered/scifi jumps after the mundane ones. But I was limited by my not sharing the taste of most jumpmakers. Which is okay. I just wanted suggestions for how to enjoy jumpchain regardless.

How'd you end up on Veeky Forums?

Every Class gets two discounts on stats and two Class Skills. Caster had one discount on stats and three class skills with the chosen one not making much sense. So they got changed to be in line with the others.

Berserker and Assassin get a choice on their Skill because they each only have one fitting Class Skill assigned. Berserker only needs you to have gone mad before and you could have qualified for other classes easily, hence they get a choice on their second skill. Most assassins are meant to be of the Hasashin, each one having a different focus, so I thought it was fitting there too in addition to them not having a second fitting class skill already. Casters already had two Class Skills that fit them well, so I saw no need for them to have a third free choice one nor do make them better then the other classes for that matter.

I used to download scans of comics off of /co/. I like roleplaying games but I can't find a steady group so I'm on Veeky Forums a lot.

I forget, is there an option in GDC to crawl your own dungeon from GDB?

Except that Caster is a skill focused class as opposed to all others, who rely more on stats to beat/shank/shoot each other to death.
It's my opinion only, but i think that for Casters, who rely on their skills in whatever magic they use to win it's more fitting to have discounts for Mana and a Skill than in Mana and Luck.
You could have ruled that the discount had to apply to a magic system (Magecraft, HSDW, Runes, Summoning) and it would have been more fitting I think.

Hey Val, out of curiosity why is EX Clairvoyance banned? Reading the little blurb, the only difference from the next highest rank seems to be seeing the past. Which doesn't seem to warrant a ban. Am I missing something?

It's like Rider's Noble Phantasm discount.

What would an EX stat in Luck do?

...

It isn't. Stand by for future update.

Mmm. Casters are not necessarily magic users however, we have multiple examples of those who are not, and the common skill is more Item Construction. It's already granting two very useful skills with broad ranges of effects. If there wasn't a good proportion of Casters who were authors, inventors, crafters and so on, I might be convinced but with them, I'm going to go with a no on a third skill discount for casters, as it's not critical for the Class as a whole.

Rider's on the other hand, are universally meant to have a big focus on their NPs. A Rider and their mount. This differs from Casters who sometimes do and sometimes do not have a magic system skill. Again, if Casters were all mages, sure. But they're not all, so I'm going to side on a no.

It was a mistake. It's mentioned earlier in thread.

What Luck normally does but better.

But Luck is worthless. It's the least important stat. You're effectively making them WORSE than the other classes, let alone it being non-canon.

I'm happy to change it to Agility if it really bothers you but they are not getting a third skill discount.

Why not? How does Agility even make sense for casters? None of them are known for being fast either.

Casters already have the worst balance of the classes, I'm not sure why they need to be made weaker.
