I've been playing around for awhile with a couple of lists from games I've watched online and I've fallen inlove with the decimator/defender combo, as it uses both of my absolute favorite ships.

I understand that this is more or less the standard layout for the list:

But I ran this at our local tourney and won quite handedly:

However this experience really taught me how much I wanted his crits to go through. I could push the damage, but the critical were just too unreliable. I could have run Rexler Brath (which was my original intent on the change), but couldn't fit the points well enough.

So I looked around and found this, using one of the new cards from the quad jumper as its core for damage and control, while leaving me points for Brath

I could potentially reduce expertise to juke to push damage, but I'm losing out on more focus results, and I NEED to keep the focus to flip more crits. If I drop it to juke, I can boost thermal detonators to proton bombs as well for even more shenanigans.

Bo'Shek and Intel agent with Oicunn is spectacular. The control and damage output it offers can easily turn battles in my favor, disengage troublesome ships, put them in range of Brath without an arc, or even fly them off the board.

Then Daredevil/dauntless combo with aspiring recruit allows Oicunn to ram twice a turn, every turn if he can.

Does the Empire still use Neb-Bs and CR90s in nucanon? If not, what are their nearest nucanon equivalents?

I'm willing to bet the Raider fills the corvette niche in NuCanon because it ticks the TRIANGLES box.

Same here, honestly I'd like to see /swg/ try to collaboratively write a series of short stories set in the oldcanon.

You know, I think that was actually a really great design choice. Rosh, though your friend, was constantly trying to be better than you. His hubris and ambition led to him being easily corrupted; he wasn't really evil, just a stupid young man easily influenced by someone who actually knew what they were doing. He realized his wrongdoing and came to you for help, despite constantly dicking you over throughout your Jedi career.

Killing Rosh feels good, that's the whole point: it's seducing you to do something because it's easy and satisfying, but not right. Saving him is forgiveness, which is the Jedi way.

Everyone knows about it, but a man can still dream, goddammit.

I've had great luck with expertise on rey, but she has built-in dice mods. I'm considering putting fleet officer on captain Oicunn to pass focus And the defender can take a lock for mods. Unless you need the focus for defense, every hp gone is a crit. Juke pushes hits through better, but expertise gets you more straight up.

Nope. I might reconsider him though. I thought I get to choose the maneuver, but the opponent chooses instead I believe.

It's possible, but I will be missing out on the 2nd Bump from the ship. And since captain oicunn is a lower ps than most of his targets, there's no guarantee they will stay connected long enough to matter. It would be great combining it with Brath, though.

storm troopers seem to have a very wide range of skill, ranging from slightly better than the black helmet guys to kills twice their number in rebels, the only consistent thing about them is that they are sent to deal with the rebellion directly, and often fight on a variety of planets

The Thrawn book is set before his appearances on Rebels.

Stormtroopers are not at all regulars. They're not even part of the main Imperial Army, they're an independent entity
