Which of the Five Deadly Venoms (Centipede, Snake, Scorpion, Lizard, & Toad) best corresponds to which of the five Chinese elements (Air, Earth, Metal, Water, & Wood)?
I'm building a villain team to pit against my players.
I'm also interested in re-writing the story of the Five Chinese Brothers to star the Venoms, as a sort of origin story, and any help in that regard would also be appreciated.

All i know is that toad style is immensely strong and immune to nearly any weapon. When it's properly used, it's almost invincible.
Centipede- Fire
Snake- Water
Toad- Earth
Lizard- Wood
Scorpion- Metal

Just seemed like the best elements for those animals.
Lizard, ground dwellers, earth.
Toad, similar to frog, frog is amphibious, water.
Scorpion, lives in desert, fire.
Snake, some can fly, air.
Centipede, fucking weird, metal

A lot of good context in this scene. I'd say centipede is definitely fire, toad is earth, lizard is wood, scorpion is metal, and snake is water.
