I can't bring myself to plan that well

Repost from last thread. Looking for ways to turn greyfax into a rape cannon with witch fire. Is there any way for imperial armies to consistently lower the leadership of enemy units?
For those who don't know, witch fire is range 18, you roll 3d6 and subtract enemy units ld, they take that many wounds with no saves allowed. They get invulnerable saves tho I believe
Isaac Thompson
Now I know everyone always thinks Cult Mechanicus sucks in Kill Team
BUT HOW ABOUT THIS SPICY TECH CHOICE?
Juan Taylor
Everytime i see chaos marines I picture them describing to slaves how they want their armor to look
>more spikes omg I love spikes >could you put more screaming faces on it? >Did I say I wanted horns on this helmet!!! What am I an iron warrior?
Angel Davis
Asked at the tail end of last thread
Are there any leaks for the new eldar formations that are more clear. Going by the preorder bundles, I own everything needed to make the reborn warhost, soul bound vanguard, and ynneads net. The war host and vanguard, with upgrades, add up to 2000 points. Looks a bit weak without more transports though
Ethan Wilson
Khorne pls go. We only follow the greater good here
Brandon Nelson
Are slaves trusted with their armor? In the case of Word Bearers at least their armor simply changes due to exposure to the Warp. Apparently they hardly (if ever) remove their armor and eventually it fuses to their body and melds with it.

The warhost is just the "units from any eldar faction" detachment, much like the castellans (assumedly) The warhost gives re-rolls on the warlord table, stubborn, no shooting morale tests if you end the phase within 7" of a friendly unit, and 2 units can soulburst from a single death, instead of just
Brandon Rivera
Well, its mainly a matter of finding a theme and sticking to it.
For example, part of my Chaos Warband is really focused on vehicles, machines, and tech heresy, so all of them have meltaguns where the option exists. All the various squads and vehicles stem from the Warp Smith's plans.
Daniel Powell
While it HUGELY depends on the warband in question, Chaos Marines generally adorn their armor with their trophies and gear personally, as letting a slave touch their trophies is absolutely unthinkable. Most also still venerate their armor and wargear to some degree, simply because they basically live in it. Slaves may do basic maintenance, but they don't do any of the "big things".
Again, though, depends hugely on the warband. Some warbands may view their gear as tools and little else, allowing slaves to do pretty much all of the actual work.
Evan Ross
Across all codices, what is the most effective Terminator unit/loadout/tactic?
Jaxson Carter
Spamming single man Deathwatch termites with various special weapons or melta powerfists
Kevin Barnes
Just the unit on it own? I'm partial to say deathwing terminators, fearless can sometimes hurt them but with split fire and twin-linked on deep strike they're quite effective.
Course i'm less familiar with terminators outside them and blood angels.
Michael Ward
Using deathwing knights as a shooty unit.
Grayson Watson
Probably death wing, most cases shooting load outs, and I think they're most effective at creating distractions or supporting fire behind the front line
Joshua Hill
They vary too much between marines, CSM, and deathwatch.
For CSM- MSU with 3 combi-meltas and axes to hopefully pop a tank and earn their points back.
Marines- TH/SS deathstar
Deathwatch- shooty
Connor Adams
Are Daemon Princes allowed to retain whatever position they had in a warband if they wish?
Like if a Chaos Sorcerer turned Daemon Prince wishes to retain his (subordinate) position as his Chaos Lord's adviser, is his Lord going to go for that or is he getting the boot in favor of someone else due to how fickle Daemons are?
Brandon Smith
I'd like to find a theme but It feels like flexibility is too important to commit around.
Parker Cruz
Depends on the position they want, i would not trust a daemon prince to be the head chef.
Austin Young
A lot of princes have trouble maintaining their form in real-space. In the IW omnibus, the chaos lord that ascends starts to fade into the warp.
Leo Long
If the Chaos Lord is the leader of his respective warband and becomes a daemon prince then yes, he can most certainly use the great power he's been given to continue his rule over the army.
But as for the situation you described, I doubt any right minded Chaos Lord is going to want his second in command/adviser/whatever to continue sticking around after he's been given the immense power of daemonhood. That'll just lead to him with a warped claw through his back at some time or another.
When you oversee an army of bloodthirsty killers that are seeking the favor of daemon gods it doesn't do well to have others just as or more powerful than you right below you on the chain of command.
Nicholas Gonzalez
Oh hi.
Jonathan Cook
>the chaos lord that ascends starts to fade into the warp
I heard that was one reason why Abaddon refused the gift of Ascension over 11 times in the past lore.
Xavier Ortiz
And his hatred of weakness, doesn't get much weaker than relying on divine favour just to exist.
Matthew Wood
Well, part of that is why I segmented my Warband into effectively being three separate ones teaming up. Thus I have a bit of flexibility in theme and can add stuff in in a way that makes sense
Luke Lopez
I'm pretty sure it's just because he doesn't want to lose his free will and become a slave.
Hunter Adams
> he doesn't want to lose his free will and become a slave
So the eventual fate of Horus had he survived the Heresy?
Also, is that a Traitor Knight with the Oblitorator Virus in the background behind Kelbor-Hal in this image?
Jack Powell
Thinking of pic related for a Chaos conversion. Figures I could use her for a pretty nice Slaanesh Prince, though I'm less sure what the beetle would fit well as.
Any suggestions for giant chaos MCs?
Dominic Myers
Reminder that Knight Gerantius has NO STRENGTH as a walker, and must therefore be immediately removed from play the moment the game starts.
>CSM Havoks boxes are the only source of CSM autocannons >fail cast >out of stock >$45 >only comes with one anyway
Guess I should remake my list
Landon Foster
Wasn't Horus already a thrall to Chaos after being mindfucked on Davin? When the Emperor severed his connection he was remorseful.
Asher Anderson
>knight twin missile pods, beetleback carapace, c'mon man
that image pre-dates the redesigned knights a good deal
Samuel Morris
>is that a Traitor Knight with the Oblitorator Virus Might just me a face mounted cannon, it is a machine after all so design is only down the the magos imagination.
Lucas Cooper
And forgot pic, of course.
Cameron Gutierrez
Sell the beetle to a nid player.
James Robinson
can't advise on which, but did you thought about proxy ?
Isaiah Lee
He has no listed Strength stat, which is entirely different from having S0 or S-. Cease this autism.
Worst case, his RAW prevents him from making use of HoW and being unable to strike blows if his sword is disarmed by Eldar faggotry, but that's it. And this only applies at all if you, the opponent, are an absolute douchenozzle.
Sebastian Fisher
Forgeworld has two different models, if that aint' good enough you've chosen it for yourself.
Anthony Butler
I try to keep things as official as possible, and most proxies I've seen are floating around $5-10 for a single weapon. Hell, FW charges $20 for a set before shipping.
Samuel Collins
maulerfiend
Jeremiah Sullivan
They come with FW price tags, which is the main problem.
Nolan Scott
>complaining about FW prices >when it's literally like half as expensive as buying Havocs for one cannons/set You don't deserve autocannons
Logan Miller
Juggernaught of kho- oh wait
Jordan Myers
If you got Guard player in your area, I'm pretty sure they got a few left from their heavy weapons squad.
Just add a few skulls, spike and other greenstuff made ornament and it should do the trick I guess.
Carter Price
Khornate Word Bearers are canon! My Dudes are redeemed!
Justin Young
Don't know any sadly
I thought Maulerfiends were smaller than that?
Brandon Torres
Why does abaddon keep a guy on fire around?
Camden Phillips
>IG >Autocannons left over
Are you smoking the wacky tobaccy?
They've been the go-to heavy weapon for guard for a decade.
Aaron Jenkins
Can't say that there is much you can do with the model chaos-wise. I've got a friend who is using the beetle as one of the nid gargantous creatures, the elf on top is built like a lot of the AoS stuff, so it fits together really well, but it's all curved so unless you are amazing at greenstuffing, it's really hard to do anything to it
Blake Perez
What makes you think he's Khornate?
Evan Allen
$20 is absurd for 5 guns.
Daniel Brooks
It's a Blood Angel. Considering he's next to Ahriman one can assume he's powering that Chaos discoball in the middle, perhaps.
Lincoln Wilson
It's a joke about user getting triple 8's.
But there are Khornate WB in the canon anyways.
$16.21 according to Google when the money is translated(?).
Hudson Gray
>he doesn't remember the old days where heavy weapons were expensive blister packs This hobby isn't for you if you think that's costly.
Jackson Barnes
He's the Red Angel.
The Red Angel is a Daemon of Chaos which during the Horus Heresy possessed the body of Apothecary Meros of the Blood Angels during the Battle of Signus Prime. The daemon was formed from the distilled rage of Brother-Captain Tagas, who had been believed lost on Murder[2a], which formed sentience in the process.
First Chaplain Erebus had planned to have Sanguinius become the daemon's host, with Kyriss the Perverse offering to free the Blood Angels of the Red Thirst forever if Sanguinius took the ragefire into himself, but Meros instead sacrificed himself so that Sanguinius would not.
The act freed the Blood Angels of the rage that had befallen them, but only a fraction of Meros remained alive, enough to tormented by his decision. The Red Angel admitted that the Chaos Gods had underestimated Sanguinius's resolve, but the Great Angel vowed that Meros would be spared one day, for no Blood Angel would die in silence.
Jayden Reyes
>copypasting from the wiki >doesn't even remove citations >endorsing Red Angel memery w e w
Alexander Miller
Fuck you, sell it to me, the AdMech player, and I'll turn that shit into a war machine.
Hunter Martin
I removed citations, just not all, as for memery that's your opinion.
Parker Campbell
Mauler find is on a 120 mm long flying base, that bug is one a round 160.
Isaac Sullivan
I really want this character to show up again to job to dante or the sangunior or something to finally lay Meros to rest. Even if it means another defeat for chaos i feel like He deserves to be freed
John Butler
The fact that you don't is insane.
Seeing as that's the only option, which version is better? Legion or Kalibrax?
Plus shipping, Satan.
Josiah Miller
Legion a coolest Kalibrax a easier to build
Jackson Reed
How does the legion one even work?
Juan Brooks
Speaking of triggering fun, I MS Painted up some new generals.
Lincoln Sullivan
Hmm...that doesn't sound like as big of a difference as I thought. Not sure if I like the idea of it being a vehicle, though I guess there aren't that many options.
Mason Price
Maybe when Angron comes on to the 40k table Let him finally take the Red Angel name for himself, hell maybe Meros can die in a blaze of glory as he turns the Blood Angels wrath on the raging gods formost champion..
Noah Diaz
should be labeled general heresy
Aaron Bailey
Sloppy, stamp should be slightly askew and overlap logo.
Also /40kg/ doesn't need help shitposting.
Blake Edwards
inb4 he actually turns the demon to his will and purifys the power and just becomes a burning beacon of righteousness for the BA. I want a character on fire dammit.
Jeremiah Russell
I DID say *blaze* of glory...
Adrian Bailey
Belt fed, obviously.
Lucas Turner
Probably.
Probably doesn't.
And again, MS Paint. Though Veeky Forums has inspired a desire to start learning photoshop.
Nathan Sanders
so whats the deal with bs 6+? most of the units that have it don't have blast weapons that would benefit from the scatter reduction, and the best you can hit on is 2+ with shooting. why does bs 6 and 7 exist?
Henry Campbell
Are there audio books in the BL mega? If so I cant seem to find them
Lincoln White
>Though Veeky Forums has inspired a desire to start learning photoshop. Paint.net
It's how I do all my shit, slightly more pro but still free is GIMP.
Ethan Brown
Have you read the rulebook section on BS?
Ayden James
I get that, thanks. What the fuck do I do with the box? How is it assembled?
Jose Morales
IU'm a huge fan of the death guard termies.
Put them in the formation and they're t5, 2+/5++ 5+ FnP rerolling 1s. Too tough to be chipped down with small arms fire, over a 50% chance to ignore an ap2 wound and even strength 10 ap2 has 1/3 chance to be ignored.
Give them power axes (maybe a hidden chain fist) and combi-plasmas/meltas and go to town.
Oh, and fearless and leadership 10 for free.
Brayden Jenkins
There is a surprisingly low amount of DEldar porn.
You gently heat the belts with warm water and attach them to the ports. The box goes on the back of the backpack, iirc.
Blake Allen
...
Adrian Taylor
>Tau btfo edition
Adam Hill
dont own one, thats why im asking here
Lincoln Cooper
A culexus deployed against tau? Uhm...
Connor Fisher
That sounds clunky
That looks clunky. It doesn't even look like it sits well compared to pic related, but I suppose the backpack could be more limiting to armor MKs
Elijah Scott
if you miss you get to roll again ->BS 6 reroll on a 6 is a hit, 7 on a 5 or 6 etc its basically irrelevant due to only very few units getting that anyway
Nicholas Robinson
I'll check those out.
Using official art is taboo. Although the fanart pool is getting pretty low.
Lincoln Martin
oh ok, thats cool ty
Gabriel Wilson
this was extremely retarded, the tau should have had no problem dispatching a colexus. Who wrote this crap?
