so, are there any good adventure modules that are also free?

But Augunas and friends said that if you do that, Catfolk wouldn't be catfolk anymore! Surely he can't be wrong! SURELY NOT! Reminder that Big Cat animal companions have some of the BEST WISDOM OF ALL ANIMAL COMPANIONS

How well do Path of War and Spheres of Might mix?
What would happen if you took a level 9 OD/ZS warder, Destruction zealot, or whatever, and then traded in all of their feats for Spheres of Might stuff?
Would they be UNSTOPPABLE?
Jace Scott
"Overwrought" would be how I'd describe it. Why would you put the two in the same game? I mean one is literally an attempt at the same objective with the secondary goal of AVOIDING everything to do with the other.
Nicholas Reed
Why would you even mix them They are not really compatible
Daniel Campbell
Because I want to be the ULTIMATE martial.

What abilities do YOU, yes YOU user, want a martial to have? What do you think is thematically in line with what a martial is. What abilities should they have that makes them different as essential as a spell caster?
Personally I believe it is not as much of a matter of bringing martials up. Tier 1 spell casters are too high, and should be brought down. The game should meet somewhere in the middle.
I agree with you on the scope of tier 1 casters being too broad though. And there are certain system rules that make what martials get less valuable by default.
Luis Adams
In an actual combative degree, martials are generally competent.
What they need is things to make combat more interesting, but NOT more powerful.
UNLESS it's a combat style that suffers a little, like onehanding. Then it can get a little love.
Jacob Morales
Why are these exotic dancers holding edged weapons? Won't they hurt themselves?
Mason Harris
It's educational.

>The ability to FUCKING MOVE while fighting at peak efficiency >Combat abilities that might focus slightly less on damage but allow one to damage and debuff the enemy instead of having to do one or the other. Attack on Titan might actually be a good example here, Levi fucks a titan up but while he's doing it he blinds it, hamstrings it, breaks its jaw, etc. >More abilities for exploration and interaction; martials are plenty good at killing enemies but I'd rather not have it be "warriors kill the enemy, mages solve problems (enemies being alive is a problem)." Stop hogging all the alternate movement modes, magic.
Generally I put combat styles into these categories with these distinctions: >What you have in hand 2-Handed Ranged Weapon Two 1-Handed Ranged Weapons 1-Handed Ranged Weapon & Shield 1-Handed Ranged Weapon & Free Hand 1-Handed Ranged Weapon & 1-Handed Melee Weapon 1-Handed Melee Weapon & Shield 2-Handed Melee Weapon Two 1-Handed Melee Weapons 1-Handed Melee Weapon & Free Hand
>What the Weapon Does These categories are done by the weapon types already available, trip, sunder, brace, reach, etc.
All of these fighting styles should have some form of support, many have very weak support or no support.
Lucas Wilson
This this this I can already hit someone for a lot of damage with two-handing and bows. I want: a) other styles to be viable ***WITHOUT*** becoming mechanically clone styles. Find ways to give them useful roles instead. b) physical combat to involve more complexity and incentive to do things other than trading attack rolls in place, while also not being replaced with a spells-analog system.
Xavier Lewis
>b) physical combat to involve more complexity and incentive to do things other than trading attack rolls in place, while also not being replaced with a spells-analog system. Now here is the question, how do you suggest to do this?
-Handed Ranged Weapon & Shield Again, crowssbow and gun are the idea here. Crossbow particularly is iconic here for ranged weapon and shield.
Jonathan Lee
>Why would dual pistols be a thing?
Ethan Brooks
Because they're Japanese Scotsmen. You can't be one of those without looking strange, come on.
Nathaniel Russell
>both using western-style swords >Japanese >not having Scottish wildcat-girls in your setting
Connor Collins
Because they're not.
Isaiah Jackson
They mix... okay. Most offensive actions in SoM are attack actions or care about attack actions, so those are all incompatible with strike maneuvers. However, there's still plenty of supporting talents for an initiatior to use. Alternatively you could load up on counters and boosts but that would be dumb.

What about the spheres and talents that are just "existing feat (like Power Attack), only better"?
Benjamin Reed
And more importantly, will we have a "ki" sphere for monk stuff?
Jack Gray
Both.

Good for them! I'm hanging out with my super amazing friends. We're... we're going to do fun stuff! We're gonna... uh... play beer pong and drink all night then flip a car. Yeah.

How do I proper gish with SoM/SoP only?

Archives of Nethys wasn't updated for some time. What happened? And where to get an alternative? PFSRD misses some stuff occasionally.
William Russell
Reposting this if only because I didn't get a reply in the last thread. I'm gonna be building a Noble Soul Vigilante using the Crusader specialization. Is it worth trying to pursue a sword and board type character using Shield of Fury and Furious Flurry? Should I just stick to a two handed weapon and Power Attack? From the looks of it I probably don't have enough Vigilante talents to get much done regarding a build, since some of the ones that give Paladin features feel a bit mandatory.
Julian Reed

proper way to use a shield is to two-hand and pull the shield out when you think you need a bit more AC
improper way to use a shield is to tie up a ton of marginally useful feats into your shield so you can hit stuff with it for small amounts of damage
Justin Hill
Anything that improves sword and board is just a bandaid on a gaping wound.
Just go with a two-hander and call it a day.
Christopher Adams
>fashion designer >who buffs everyone with clothes
Is there a class/archetype that lets me do this?
Other than DDS's artisan.
Evan Fisher
You gestalt, or you wait for the gish book to come out in December. You can alternatively use a combat/iron mage Hedgemage or a mageknight and spend most of your feats on Extra Combat Talent.
Asher Williams

Spheres of Power, Enhancement/Protection specialist, take the Skilled Casting drawback.
Make Profession: Tailor part of your casting, fluff what you're doing as magically making outfits that protect and buff?
Xavier Reed
SoM's Blacksmith class is able to buff the party through tinkering with their equipment, so you could fluff that as strength through fashion.

It's a corset, not Victoria's Secret stuff. Perfectly normal wear for both genders back in the day, worn outside your clothes half the time, and they can be armored to boot.
If you want to send a message sure, go refluff some bracers of armor into pasties of armor, but that was not my intention.
Jace Cook

Is there a class and discipline in Path of War that can make unarmed fighting work?
Silksworn Occultist, AKA Blingomancer, because you can hand people your implements (which are now articles of fancy or pricy clothing) to give them passive buffs and active abilities that are similar to, but often better than, spells.
Gabriel Davis
Being a half-elf or elf.
Julian Lee
Be a human and take the ART that trades away your bonus feat for two separate EWPs. Wield a Katana in one hand, a Falcata in the other!

Nothing stopping you from choosing "Unarmed Strikes" as your Rogue's Finesse ability to get DEX-to-Damage, which now gets to benefit from both initiating to get bonus damage or rider effects, as well as Sneak Attack.
Adrian Evans
You mean, like a Warlord (Steelfist Commando?) Broken Blade discipline?
Cooper Turner
>What hidden details are you seeing, user?
Besides the fact she's got a huge bust even though those types of outfits are supposed to keep 'em nice and flat?
Puffy vulva, the Pantsu have a bit of detail to them.
Lincoln Parker
Yeah, man! Maybe there is new class or archetype dedicated to it - didn't check in awhile.
Dominic Martin
>no two-handed shield
Can't have totally historical battles without men armed with two-handed shields.
>Maybe there is new class or archetype dedicated to it - didn't check in awhile.
Sadly not, in fact DSP wants to nerf Broken Blade because too many people used Unarmed Strikes with weapons.
Jason King
She might not NECESSARILY be wearing a sarashi!
Cooper Brooks
Pugilist Stance and Steel Flurry Strike need only a discipline weapon.
Go wield a sansetsukon.
Or a WMH custom monk weapon if your GM allows that.
Lucas Morris
Occultists handing over their implements is completely shit-tier and useless.
Jack Davis
user, let me be clear how this campaign is going to go down.
There will be an intro session, it will be fairly uneventful as intro sessions go with maybe one or two oh-so whacky moments perpetuated by the group clowns.
The second session will be canceled because someone can't make it.
The third session will be canceled early because the DM isn't feeling good and he's kinda busy.
The DM will never show up for the fourth session.
Easton Diaz
How do you figure? Especially when you have the power to replicate them later in your career for mental focus purposes (but not for spells)?
Samuel Brooks
Someone actually drew that girl from One Punch Man?
Carson Martinez
But why wouldn't she be wearing a sarashi? Those things are very useful for a chesty girl in her type of activity!
Hunter Gutierrez
Maybe she wants to trick people like you into thinking her medium-sized bust is much larger than it really is.
Dominic Barnes
>medium-sized bust
Nah, those are big - not anime big sure, but she'd be considered "chesty" if you saw her walking down the street.
Samuel Cruz
Can we list the /pfg/ games that haven't ended up as bamboozles?
