Your DM isn't a native English speaker.

That is true. However, is it really that bad?

The answer is crossdressing shota kitsune foxboy maid-princesses (male).

I'm going in completely blind into this riddle, so...

Judging by the riddle AND the filename being "statues" room, you should remove the smile from Orcus' face and put it onto Melora's, and kneel before her.
Also, to turn back on someone is to show him disdain, so it's probably an orientation puzzle.

Basically:
- You should take the smile off Orcus's statue and put it onto Melora's statue.
- You should face Melora's statue and kneel before it.
- You should turn your back to Orcus's statue, meaning Melora's statue is in front of you and Orcus's statue is behind you.
- And you should never turn to Zehir's statue in the process? No clue what this one is about.

Do you have physical props or an accompanying room description?

Because this is garbage.
It's not a riddle but strange instructions.

Do a cow out east 39
Blend chicken cheese corn

Also not a riddle

It means precisely jack and shit without a description of the room.

...

Is it possible to rotate the room or the chest? If yes, then this post () seems like the most reasonable answer.

I think you are mistaking a riddle for a puzzle.

Also, to open the chest one must kneel before it, like "a temple-going man" so, yeah, it's probably a spacial orientation puzzle, where you must rotate the room or the chest.

Keep your back to the snake is pretty much what I get.

It's kind of thematically fucked, lorewise I mean.
The entities depicted really have nothing in common, no direct rivalry or other connection.
That could be fixed by switching Avandra with The Raven Queen.

The enemy of Orcus and the successor to Zehir's consort's former mantle.

>Make Melora smile
>wipe smirk off Orcus' face, show great disdain
So, first, lay both statues down, with Orcus eating Melora out.
Have Zehir facing the other way.

I wrote Avandra when I meant Melora, my subliminal 4e waifu prejudices are strong.

arrange the stautes such that
Melora
V
(you) >Zehir
Λ
Orcus
bow to Melora, show your arse to Orcus, face Zehir away.
