The dungeon has no oxygen

>The dungeon has no oxygen
>The underground complex is self-sealing
>Small portals within suck away all oxygen

wat do

Research ahead of time, hire warforged to do it.

Assuming you know about it in advnce then it depends on the setting, but there should be ways to prepare.
Magic fantasy settings you get magic amulets or spells so you don't need to breath.
Fantasy without access to the above magic you crack the doors open. Either break them so they can't self seal or block them open.
Sci-Fi get spacesuits.

If you don't know about it in advance then you all die. Unless by random chanve you have the above perperations in place or can teleport out before you suffocate.

smack the wizard upside the head, yeah my treasure is safe, so safe even i cant get to it.

Sounds like a good use for that group of bandits we slaughtered and create undead to me.
If nothing else it will get rid of the bodies.

Bottles of Air used to create EVA suits.

Go through the portals!

Do spheres of annihilation kill air?

Technically yes

Send in undead and other things that don't need to breathe.

I roll for a will check.
I hold my breath and run it.

Tell the DM this is fucking retarded and my Barbarian is going to go murderhobo a town instead of dealing with this stupid dungeon.

Open a Gate to the elemental plane of air

> underground complex
decanter of endless water, water breathing

Watertight helmets full of water (wear goggles) + Water breathing. It says as long as you're in water, you can breathe. Nothing about consuming the oxygen in the water.

Wouldn't that be a stamina check of some kind?

Dex check actually. (Lung dexterity)

For cost effectiveness
>Buy cheap amulet of water breathing
>Carry a bucket of water with you
>Jam your face inside to breathe every minute or so.

Do they only suck oxygen? And where does it go?

And my answer is magical plant masks that generate oxygen.

>cost effectiveness
>buy cheap amulet of water breathing

are you literally retarded

If it's a vacuum the water would boil, wouldn't it? Or freeze.

I don't care let the dubs decide.

Why would it freeze?

Actually no temperature exchange will occur if it is a perfect vacuum although there would be other problems.

>Veeky Forums in change of science

What does it mean?

>needing to breathe

The water wouldn't get hotter but it'd still boil if there's no air pressure.
This is assuming the dungeon has no air at all, in which case breathing is the least of your worries anyway. But OP just said no oxygen, so everything should be fine. Just remember this also means no mundane torches.

>>Small portals within suck away all oxygen

Suck harder, OP.

Do the portals simply remove all the air, or do they filter out the oxygen and leave the rest of the air?

The difference is important.

What a bunch of losers

it would
there is heat transfer through radiation or how do you think the sun warms the earth

would that thing run away from itself if it turns undead?

They're small. But if the vacuum isn't too strong then you could put your mouth on the portals and breathe until you think of something better

Why are there not more stories of mighty heroes of justice coming back as skeletons or possessing their old armour etc, all out of sheer will and their desire to defeat the great evil/protect the innocent

Stick bottle of air in mouth
secure with duck tape
assume standard marching order
Use standard handsigns for communication
Prepare for undead/oozes/atomatons/outsiders
kill monsters
collect loot
Dispense not a single fuck

Because YOU haven't made one yet!
Be that guy, user! Write a grand tale!

>duck tape
>duck
really?

The reason why sun is really hot and earth's surface and atmosphere trap that heat, space isn't a perfect vacuum so the heat can move between atoms. You can't have temperature transfer if there is no matter to heat up which in a PERFECT vacuum, which this system is meant to be, there wouldn't be.

Really.

you know nothing john snow.
heat transfers via three pathways.
conduction, as you described.
convection, heated gas imparting thermal energy by colliding with other mater.
radiation, charged particles (photons) carrying heat.

Here's some topics to brush up on so that you don't embarass yourself next time:

>Density of matter in the solar system
>Rate of heat transfer through condition in relation to the medium's density
>Blackbody radiation

*condition -> conduction

>OP only refers to oxygen
>Alchemically crack CO2 within a bag of holding.

Quick and dirty, but it might just work.

>Cast undeath after death.
Do it as sentient undead.

I don't know user, I don't know.

Well, if you wanna fuck with technicalities...
>dungeon sucks away all oxygen
>including that bound within your bodies

Green rings respond to the bearer's willpower, hence the will check. In the comics and the JLU universe they've been able to allow their wearers to breathe in airless environments.
