Out of all the Seven Sins, which is the worst of them for a leader to commit?

Out of all the Seven Sins, which is the worst of them for a leader to commit?

Pride.
Arrogance in a leader will always put his followers in more danger than anything else.

I'm trying to understand the symbolism of envy and it doesn't make much sense, what do the untied shows represent?

Sloth, obviously.

The point of the Seven Deadly Sins is they don't exist independently of each other. The idea was they were basically a packaged deal and committing one implicitly fed the others.

>>Out of all the Seven Sins, which is the worst of them for a leader to commit?

>the Seven Sins only apply to those who are capable of going to Purgatory
>having a leader that is mortal
Why?

Jelousy towards one's own team members can be pretty toxic.

Sloth

Sloth.

But only because Idiot isn't classed as a sin.

Constant distraction by other people's things

I think it's supposed to symbolize the idea of being so caught up in what others have, that you completely ignore what you actually need.

Gluttony or Sloth.

Wrath can be fine in moderation, indeed in times of crises the people will applaud wrath.

Greed and Envy often are not meaningfully indistinguishable from how a feudal lord operated anyway, and can lead the lord to expanding his wealth and territory, which in turn makes the kingdom strong.

Lust has to get pretty damn out of hand for it to meaningfully impact the leader, because being the top of the food chain they are normally free of the consequences of indulging their lust anyway.

Pride is only deadly in combination with stupidity, so it can be moderated by a good leader. Indeed, a man who has no pride can't act as a leader in the first place, because he does not put himself above others.

But Gluttony and Sloth are pure detriment to a leader. A slothful lord is not doing his duties as a lord, and a gluttonous lord is nothing but a parasite to his people. The other sins have second faces that are eeither not so bad or occasionally even useful, but Sloth and Gluttony each make for a terrible lord.

Pride.
Pride is good until it is bad then it's the worst.
The others will generally be called out before it endangers anything but pride is more insidious.

Sloth can be beneficial in ist own way if he delagates tasks. Also a lazy but capable person will find ways to make a traditionally ardous task simpler.

Acedia because this is an illustration of that, now defunct, sin.

And seriously, if a leader starts committing pic related we're all fucked.

Lustia.

Envy. It's easily the most destructive of the sins in generally any context.

>Pride/Greed
I'd call these more requirements to get the job.
>Lust/Gluttony
Fun scandal fodder, but ultimately par for the course.
>Wrath/Envy
Thanks for starting another war, asshole.
>Sloth
Why are you even running a country if you're not doing anything? Shit or get off the chair.

Envy or Pride are the easiest to become damaging to a leader. Theyre all bad in excess but pride and envy are probably the worst in a leader

You do realize that it's only a sin when it's excessive, right? Otherwise it's just normal human emotion, which is acceptable.

This. Sloth is by far the worst sin for a leader.

Pride. Just look at Trump. He's totally incapable of admitting that he has no idea what he is doing.

But ill be damned if I dont love it

Is this bosch or bruegel?

>You do realize that it's only a sin when it's excessive, right?

Depends on the denomination
