Would they be heretical even though they worship the human form? What if the Imperium started using them?

Would they be heretical even though they worship the human form? What if the Imperium started using them?

They didn't evolve on Terra, so simple answer is purge.

The Inquisition definitely did not save a sample batch for their own use.

Xenos can be tolerated as long as they know their place.

So exactly like the worms?

I don't think even the imperium would give a shit about the religion of some worms. They'd probably have things to say about xeno parasites in general however

Yeah but look at those, they eat waste and maintain their host at peak effectiveness.

The worms are symbiotic though.

Don't forget healing the host if they get injured.

If the inquisition can devise a way to interrogate them, they'll probably decide it's okay eventually. Might take a while though.

More likely they would have no way of even contacting them since as far as I know shrink rays and/or very tiny atoms are too expensive/nonexistent in 40k.

That said if they don't know they're sentient I see them being used, and if they are sentient... Chaos Worms However to be fair it's very likely their psychic imprint is too small for Chaos to notice. Just better hope Tyranids don't get hold of their genetics.

But they are sentient and psykers exist.

I'm more worried if a a Ork gets worms. Little bastards tend to make people smarter by a large margin.
To put in perspective how well they do it, Fry, a idiot, managed to play a instrument that only a handful in the universe knew how to play.
And he played it excellently.

How do they compare to the Imperium in terms of technology?

The Worms do not really have technology of their own, their existence is to multiply a person's intelligence and physical ability to their absolute limit.

Fry was impaled by a pipe while he had worms.
He was able to move and even sit up in a chair, only feelinga little pain in his stomach before the worms sawed out the pipe and quickly repaired the hole via string stuff.
They also repaired a busted ear drum moments after the mini planet express drove through it.

>mfw the Necrons get a hold of them

And do what exactly? Worms can only help organics and Kids already minmax themselves.

>implying that's not what necrodermis basically is

Basically that, except programmable matter made out of nanobots.

Don't we already have shit for all that though? Maybe this is infinitely cheaper but it could also be susceptible to Chaos, Tyranids, Ork spores, or Emperor knows what else

Infinitely cheaper and faster, judging by Fry.
How would they be vunerable to spores? Would Orks even know about them?

What would happen if you have the worms to the Emperor then? Would they heal him?

One, is his brain organically alive or is it more of a warp problem?
Worms can't psykers for shit but MIGHT heal the physical problems.

They could use a very sensitive microphone.

Even off the worms fry has shown great skill in composing it, its the dexterity that he cant do.

Fry's main skill is his complete immunity to mind effecting abbilities.

They know how to build tanks at least.

Those could just as easily have been swallowed by Fry.

Early seasons Fry isn't that dumb.

If released into the general population the average man quickly becomes built like a Catachan and capable of surviving horrendous injuries and recovering super fast.

Also smarter and faster.

If the Imperium had this shit it would be mandatory for the Imperial Guard.

They sound more like things given to people in power, not regular guardsmen. Their durability and regen. Abilities are just too good.

But on the worms he sure as hell had a boost in IQ at the very least.
