What do you think of this spell?

---

Ghost Thief's Trick
School transmutation; Level bard 1, magus 1, occultist 1, sorcerer/wizard 1, witch 1
Casting Time 1 swift action
Components S
Range personal
Target you
Duration 1 round
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance no

When you perform a steal combat maneuver during the spell's duration, you can steal closely worn items, such as articles of clothing, as well as items hidden in a pack or bag. Stealing an item in a pack or bag gives your opponent +5 CMD against your steal maneuver, while stealing a closely worn item gives your opponent +10 CMD against it.

When stealing a closely worn item with this spell, you can only steal items that could be donned or removed with a move action or less, but you can attempt a steal maneuver even against such items that are out of sight, such as a tunic worn underneath a suit of armor. This aspect of the spell turns you partially incorporeal, and so opponents with armor bonuses provided by a force effect add those bonuses to their CMD against your steal maneuver.

Howdy /pfg/,

I'm working on material for a bloodborne campaign. Currently doing a bestiary and ran out of creative juice at F, so I decided to drop off new material for ya'll.

New since my last update: the Tomb Prospector archetype and Feat support.

Feedback is always welcome!

Go check out the finished sheet for Not!Sanji in the Ruse Cruise! Tell me if there's something I should have done different to make it more Sanji-ey.

(and yes I know it's a bamboozle, but it's all for fun, you know?)

Come back when you make a Maria class or PrC

>Legacy of Fire approved Combat Stamina for Fighters/Kineticists for free

FIVE FEATS AT LEVEL 1, FIVE.

Heck I'm not even gonna trade out any of these feats with archetypes. I'm just gonna wallow in them! WALLOW.

At this point, I'm honestly not sure whether it's an actual bamboozle or not.

I assume the GM will decide whether or not to run it based on what would be funnier.

Come to think of it, are Cainhurst blood techniques (a la maria's stuff and the chikage) in there?

You know what we need for it? reviews

Congratulations, you're almost on par with a blasts-only Sorcerer.

New /pfg/ evil game WHEN? I've got a character I want to submit again.

Falafel gets in or we riot.

Actually an Evil game where you're only allowed to submit rejects from other games would be great. You're B lister villains and you run it like necessary evil.

Ruse Cruise has plenty of apps.

What game are you talking about?

Fuck, I'm a retard.
Nevermind, thought you were talking about Legacy of Fire.

Yeah, and your chance at getting in should be directly related to how many evil games the character didn't get in. Two for me.

Taking suggestions on how to improved Gunslinger and Monk VMCs while I think of how to port some other classes over to the VMC system.

Thoughts so far for Gunslinger:
>3rd: Amateur Gunslinger as a bonus feat
>7th: Gain gun training 1
>11th: Gain two 3rd-level gunslinger deeds
>15th: Gain two more gunslinger deeds, of up to 7th level
>19th: Gain two more gunslinger deeds, of up to 11th level

Currently planning a Lovecraftian horror campaign, so these should give a fair number of ideas to snag. Thanks, user.

No/10

Looks decent.

Kind of useless, because you won't have the stuff you need to reliably use guns at all (jam clearing, reload reduction, etc) until high levels.

Why?

Hm, might probably add Gunsmith back in at 3rd or 7th level then.

Misfire clearing is given by Amateur Gunslinger, and reload reduction is given by rapid reload and alchemical cartridges.

The vile blood is just that.

How many weapons is too many weapons /pfg/? I plan on carrying the following:
>pistols x2
>rifle x1
>dueling sword x1
>daggers x2
>warhammer x1
>blackjack x1
>lucerne hammer x1
>sling x1

What am I missing?

Amateur Gunslinger saves you from misfire. Rapid reload is a feat you can just take.

Here's a possible VMC for Monk:
>1st: Gain Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat. Add half your Wisdom bonus to AC (minimum 0) when wearing light or no armor. You lose this benefits and any other monk abilities gained from this VMC when using a shield, carrying a medium or heavy load, or wearing medium or heavy armor.
>3rd: Your unarmed damage improves to that of a monk of your character level – 2.
>7th: Gain the ki pool ability of a monk of your character level – 3, with a number of ki points equal to half your character level. Your strikes are aligned to one alignment of your choice (Chaotic, Evil, Good, or Lawful) which you choose at 7th level, and must remain in order to retain that benefit.
>11th: Gain evasion, or improved evasion if you already have evasion from another source.
>19th: Gain the quivering palm ability with an effective monk level equal to your character level - 2.

I hope you have like 20 strength and a masterwork backpack.

Blowdarts, for starters.

The 1st level power is crazy good.

I'd give TWF, but only when using unarmed strikes.

What's the point of a ki pool when there's nothing to spend ki points on?

A VMC for Brawler would probably be more useful (and easier to balance) for most characters, if it includes some version of Close Weapon Mastery and the benefits in light armor.

18 strength and a masterwork backpack. Some of the stuff is with the horse though.

Ki points, assumingly, get spent the same way that a monk's can--to get an extra attack, to boost speed, or to boost AC.

Good point, though slight possibility that I'd rule it would apply to monk weapons as well.

>no machinegun
>no beamcannon
>no force
>no greandes
>no culverin
>no bits
>no hotchkiss
>no minotaur double-crossbow
>no funnels
>no rockets

user are you even trying

Is a Reviewanon gonna rate the Puella characters?

I'll wager 50gp that you're a swashbuckler. Are you using encumbrance rules?

I'm a fighter, and I assume we are?

Said he wasn't at the end of the last thread.

I doubt he is. I'd like him to review the Ruse Cruise apps for shits and giggles.

Guns are shit unless slinger, for the most part.

I heard it has changed and taken out much of the monster rape.

You heard wrong.

As pointed out, I will not be looking at Puella characters.

My critiques are designed to help anons be better writers, and create PCs with more depth; they're not going to help anyone design the best cocksleeve, so it's a waste of my time.

Will you be reviewing the LoBaF apps?

Hey /pfg/ I got a stupid idea for a game. Got some feedback last time, changed it up a bit.

>world is slowly flooding
>players are all members of the crew of a submarine using psuedo 1880s technology
>party can elect to be enlistees or officers, but they're not the commanding officer or the XO
>map out the entire submarine, make it realistically sized for a submarine basing the design and lay out on modern submarines probably increase it a little to make it more liveable
>party are part of an military expedition to a great underwater world
>basically a flooded underdark
>the party, along with the rest of the crew, are supposed to explore, plunder, and make contact with natives for the glory of the homeland
>as well you are supposed to bring something back, you don't know what, but it's supposed to reverse the flooding
>along the way they go to a variety of strange underwater locales, meet natives, find great undersea air filled caverns, vibrant reefs, small nations and empires beneath the waves
>part of your mission is seeking out previous failed expeditions
>game would be semi-episodic, based on shit like Space Battleship Yamato 2199 for inspiration into 'episodes'

Would you play it?

Double long-arms make excellent backup weapons for melee primaries however. It's far more accurate even with the penalties than a crossbow by mid levels, and can pack a decent enough punch if double-fired.

Certainly you shouldn't play switch-hitter with the htings, but you'd be a damn fool not to carry ANYTHING that can hit further than 5' away.

Can you put in an honest review towards the Hell's Rebels and Legacy of Blood and Flame applicants?

...

Sounds like underwater star trek. I dig, homie.

But user, I am applying in Puella and my objective isn't to be a cocksleeve! It's just a part of the game. GM himself said he wouldn't recruit based on Lewd only.

>But user, I am applying in Puella and my objective isn't to be a cocksleeve!

Join the club.

sounds fun

Inb4 GM throws a shitfit again about how people don't want to get raped.

He literally said he won't accept apps who don't want to be cock sleeves.

No, see, I don't mind about getting raped. But it's not the focus of my character all.

I'm in it for the hunt, but a monstergirl every now and then ain't so bad.

Planning on it. Waiting until we get 10-ish before diving it.

Also planning on digging into HR once we get more non-meme apps. Someone was reviewing the existing apps in Discord, and I found myself agreeing with them more often than not, so I'll wait a bit to give the applicants time to make changes.

The GM also said that PCs should expect to be raped. That tells me enough about their mindset to know my services aren't going to be particularly valuable.

>Wanting to be a cock sleeve implies I can't have a functional character with a solid story

Really makes you think...

Pistol misfire is pretty spooky without being Gunslinger. Granted, you have two, but if you plan on dual wielding you risk a 25% to misfire on a broken gun without training. I've always preferred a blunderbuss with salt shot as a sidearm on my Lore Warden.

On a side note, lucerne hammer is turbo based.

...

The rifle is pretty safe, however. I won't knock the rifle if you are playing Guns Everywhere.

Except given the nature of the setting and game, you are essentially signing up to have your PC end the game as a mind-broken hentai character.

I wouldn't begrudge you that if you were making an F-List profile. But for a Pathfinder campaign? Nah, your "solid backstory" is just so much hot air.

But what if I want that mind-broken hentai character to be like one of those super-detailed NTR doujins with amazing art?

Then you're better off starting a Patreon and writing erotic fiction than wasting your time on some idiot's magical realm.

Sometimes the plot is the best part of the porn.

What art do you use for wyvarans?

>tfw I was offered money before for ERP
>tfw I said yes because I was in a really bad financial situation

I guess I am a slut.

...

No user, if you did it for free you would be a slut. You're a whore.

So what are some good ranged options for an eldritch Archer magus that is not a longbow, short bow, or firearm.
My gm decided that if I wanted a bonded firearm I need to buy it for the crafting cost because it is too valuable to get for free. And longbow feels boring even though it will out damage the gun by a lot and have less feat tax.

No user
You are a courtesan

giant fucking crossbow?

Wait

Now that I think of it, it was pretty much prostitution

Don't know how to feel.

The term is "companion", thank you very much.

Did you ever review the reapps for HV?

So I'm building a two-handed fighter as per the archetype and focusing on sundering. I'll be using a Lucerne Hammer for the additional bonus to armor sunder. My question is regarding the rules around the Shield Brace feat. While I realize it seems redundant to ask, I take it I'm still two-handing the weapon when attacking with this feat, and will keep all the damage benefits that accompany it?

It just seems odd that I can take this feat, use a buckler (and eventually strap a decent AC bonus enchantment to it) and the fact that it is masterwork means there will be NO attack penalty involved.

sling

How could I do this? I was thinking about crossbow, but I did not see the point in needing rapid reload for a small bump in damage, I liked the firearms for theme, but needing to spend an extra 650 gold for an inferior weapon just rubs me all the wrong way. Is there any way with first party to make the crossbow better?

It is the oldest profession

Yes, you're still two-handing it for damage bonuses/power attack/whatever. Also, you're better off with a light shield. It also doesn't have an ACP penalty when masterworked and you can bop people in the face with it when they're in close range.

Shield Brace costs two feats and AC is generally a sucker's game long-term anyway; it's one of those things that seems overpowered but in practice isn't much more effective than just strapping a cestus to your hand and using two feats on other stuff.

Fuck yeah, I would! I've been trying to run a Cerulean Seas game for years; this would be the next best thing.

>Nnnngh! Ug want yunyuns!
>Ug can rub Nnnngh's yunyuns for piece of meat.
>Only have mammoth, is good?
>Well... okay, but don't tell ugg, he have tiny hyoizaburo so he have to give sabertooth instead

Oh hey, I remember that hentai too from back in the day. It was funny.

No, I'm pretty sure it's either hunter or gatherer.

Go full idiot. Dip a level into the Battle Host Occultist to get an indestructible crystal chakram.

Pros:
18-20/x2 crit range
Ammunition for the purpose of magic item creation, so it costs fucking nothing to enchant

Cons:
You need Martial Focus and Ricochet Toss
If your GM doesn't like the idea of you saving a bit of gold on a firearm, he probably won't like you saving upwards of 98,000 gold on enchanting.

Granted, but I'm the closest thing we'll have to a tank and our buff/debuff capacity isn't great (one of the reasons I'm going sunder). Plus I figure I've feats to burn being a fighter. Are there any other feat chains you'd recommend?

Hmm that might work, I would need to change my archetype due to throwing your bonded item without an easy way to get it back is a bad idea. I will look into that.

... those names.

Any suggestions on changes to make it better?

One of the biggest pitfalls of any 'big ship' game - underwater or space alike - is the "not much you can do" issue. This is where things fail the hardest.

For example, if one partymember's handling torpedo solutions, that's all he's got. that's all he does. Meanwhile the helm is bored out of his mind, but not as much as the sonar guy or the engineer will be until something new actually fucking happens for them to even need existing.

I did the burned guy in armor, the wanna-be vampire, and Cancer Elf.

I only review what's requested.

Do Hell's Rebel's!

Forgot to mention: I can also retrain if I feel it's lost any tangible bonuses. So I'm open to other chains regardless.

Someone is running Rebels?

What classes and archetypes will give you a cleric domain?
Specifically the first level ability for one.

Friend,

The Hierophant type on living legends grants it, plus you can change for a new one every day.

What do you preffer?
Female spellcasters being the sole tiddy monsters or tiddy monsterism extended to other character classes?

Hidden tiddy under large armor is best tiddy.

Flat is justice. I hate pfg's obsession with big tits.

C cups at largest across all females.
