Journal Entry # 3645
Wow… I met Arcueid today. Even though the look on her face was so terrifying; it took all my strength not to squee at seeing her. No one likes a fan girl. It’s funny I should have been afraid she was very pissed and likely to murder me if I handled this wrong but I ran because I was afraid I would say something stupid if I didn’t.

Thankfully I had more managed to regain my composure by the time she caught me. Damn she is quick. She was surprised I was more happy than afraid of her. I explained I was happy she was alive. I apologized for killing her. She accepted my apology but then we were attacked by Nero’s beasts and had to run.

(to be continued)

Presumably either migrated from CYOAG, Saw it in the Catalog and thought it looked interesting, or started on another site and came to the source.
Stacking as many iterations and variations of The Mystic Eyes of Death Perception as possible.

Currently working on a way to mass produce an army of Proto-Amazons. I've got the knowledge to make them via the Inca Science item from Kamen Rider Showa Part 1, so right now I'm trying to find a suitable base, so I can start cloning an army of them. I'm currently thinking Reese from Person of Interest, but I'm looking at other possibilities.

At the moment, becoming as immortal as possible.

Cultivating a weapon from a timid yet frightening seed into a mighty tree, spear, thing. Analogy broke down there, but I'm trying to nourish my Sacred Spear from Seven Deadly Sins.

Currently I'm trying to figure out how to stuff a planet-sized self-expanding dungeon into something like a micro-verse battery.

Got the basic perks i need down but i'm expanding the idea as i come across perks or items that would have good synergy.

Journal Entry # 3647

It probably wasn’t the best Idea but I laid all of my cards on the table. It was a bit harder when I didn’t have access to most of my abilities but she saw my warehouse and some of the items I have collected. She seems even more confused. I was able to use some potions of healing to help mend her body though she is still weakened…. Still she was glad to have the help patching herself up.

I introduced her to my companions. She seems cool with Adam and the professor but there seems to be some tension with Akitsu. The nearer Akitsu is to me the unhappier she seemed.

Sadly I think Akitsu actually likes her but is just being protective of me. After all Arcueid did mention she had intended to use me as a meat shield or kill me. Thankfully we got a plan hammered out somehow amidst the chaos.

Journal Entry # 3649
Wow, the plan worked beautifully; Arcueid served as a distraction for Nero while Adam moved in and protected her. Then Akitsu froze him and his animals then Van Hellsing and I unloaded with Holy magic and Weapons of mass destruction respectively until they were smoldering ash. I think we got all of Nero but I can’t be sure with a creature like him. He splits in to many parts and all of them are him.

Sadly there is still tension between Akitsu and Arcuied; mostly on Arcueid’s part. I don’t think she likes Akitsu for some reason.

Journal entry # 3651

I hurt so bad, so I met SHIKI tonight. The bastard got me good. It cost me an arm… sort of. If it hadn’t been for the timely intervention of Ciel and Adam it would have been more than that. Right now Ciel used something to make my body forget the loss of it’s arm so it will stay attached.
This is the angriest I think I have seen Akitsu, She wanted to obliterate the school. Then arcuied found out he was there. then they both almost went off half-cocked. I convinced them both we weren't certain. Now they are bonding over plans to murder SHIKI.
(cont.)

Journal Entry # 3652
So I think I have officially made Arcueid an otaku. She insisted on staying here while I recovered. Akiha is furious but they let her in on some stuff and she reluctantly agreed if she got to join in on the fun when the time came.

I am still under bed rest orders and get yelled at if I even think about getting up so not much to do but watch TV. Apparently Arc never really saw TV she has a fondness for Sailor moon though she apparently found Fate/Zero very interesting. She has been very interested in my dvd collection after that. I am glad I burned my DVD of a certain anime that doesn’t exist. Still I am glad I think we are actually becoming friends.

Journal Entry # 3654
Well… holy shit… umm Roa is dead, half the school is gone… They went a bit overboard with the whole killing him thing. I kind of feel bad now about blackmailing ceil to be a part of this… she is the one who is going to have to clean up this mess.

Also things almost came to a head between Arcueid and Akitsu. Thankfully it turns out sort of worked out. It turns out Arcueid likes me and whatever she was prepared to do was kind of shot down by Akitsu
Being ok with Polygamy and explaining that’s how her race worked. I like Arcueid I won’t deny that. She seems sincere so I am giving it a chance. She even has been given permission to come along with me on my journey.

The upgrading of my companions into truly bullshit level characters.

They'll need it, because I'm planning on helping the Silver Millennium survive in the far future.

Alright. So. Good news and bad news.

Bad news: Jump is incredibly huge and is a point-vampire even by my standards. Might not be bothering with an item section, and giving Holy Swords a mini-section after Gears, which will get a discount for the Heaven faction. Both of these are most of the 'items' in-universe, anyhow.

No, the one with the angels, not me.

Good news: This means the jump's completion isn't far off. Next is companions and then there's drawbacks and fluff. Afterwards it will be jumpable, and more OC options will be added at some point.

Then I'll get back to work on Final Fantasy and TIME TRAINS.

Giant robots. That's pretty much always my project, making giant robots.

People who call their own jumps cp vampires come off as incredibly arrogant.

Sounds awesome, Heavens. I look forward to seeing what you do with companions, should be fun. And you say soon after that we'll get to go on a time tripping ride? You spoil me.

Hey Heavens, what's the drawback cap looking like? Because even now, I'm probably going to end up needing 1600 extra cp, at the least. Probably more like 1900.

Alright lads and ladies, here's the Ben-To jump I've been working on. Please throw constructive criticism at me, as well as questions. It's still a work in progress for now, as I need to iron some things out, but I hope at least some of you like it.

/jc/, have you ever thought about the possibility of your current self being nothing more than background memories waiting to be drowned into the sea of consciousness and identities that is a jumper as they reincarnate?

Even worse: the jumper is your polar opposite, and your personality and morals are only the result of them taking a cheap 100cp drawback.

...you have read that beast right?

If it's a duck, then call it a duck.

Excellent.

Soon I will have another reason why Rin will want to strangle me.

By the way, what happened to the idea of custom-making your SGs? I mean, I could probably help Azazel make Artificial SGs better...actually, you know what? That's exactly what I will do.

MAGIC!/SCIENCE! Bro-time dead ahead!

Well, you're not wrong. But counting Faction and Background, perks are 1/1/1/2/2/2/4/4/4/6/6/6, and when factoring companions, Sacred Gear, and the Races, possible capstone booster...yeah, this ended up pretty expensive.
Glad to be of service!
Tentatively planning for a +1000 CP drawback limit.

I'd honestly be fine with that.

Bro you can always add a cp stipend like what with Red did in warframe

>+1000 CP drawback limit
Oh, this is going to be painful...

Yes. I'm more worried for what would happen to my family based on some of the shit I hear you people suggest.

Currently attempting to displace/replace SHIELD as the main defenders of mankind or at least support network for such people, main plan is to infiltrate and dig my hooks into promising startup programs for things such as space exploration and providing basic designs from Macross and my gravitytech from Gravity Rush

Once that's a thing, start ensuring Hydra's silly asses aren't involved with an extreme prejudice before going to the moon and starting my work there

After that, it's a lot of using the Hammer Drones as pure labor to establish a fleet. Maybe use my and my waifu's veritechs as the basis for construction of effective anti-crazy alien and inhuman/HYDRA weaponry.

Mostly it's just arming humanity in a way that SHIELD failed to do for a multitude of reasons

1. Fire Emblem Holy Grail War

Planning on accomplishing this by somehow using Second Magic to access possible Fire Emblem worlds (Using Fire Emblem video games to help, somehow. hey. it's currently in beta for this moment) + Magic Filtering Crystal Tech from Hero BBS (I do have an established system for how it works, btw, not pulling it out of my ass) for wish granting until I can get the knockoff Silver Crystal from Sailor Moon + Gamer's Barrier to make sure no innocents get harmed + create some form of the Throne of Heroes for Fire Emblem worlds for the souls to return to in case they get killed

I am pretty sure I cocked something up there or it has some flaws. Also I'm not nearly as powerful enough to do this...yet.

Reading now.

Could someone help me establish some context in regards to Servants? EX Rank is supposed to be 500 times the normal human maximum. The supplement also says that Rin is who we should take as an example of the human maximum in regards to Mana. As someone who's never read, played or watched Fate, how much mana does she have?

Could you bold the categories and perk/item names? It's a lot easier to read that way.

What. How is that even relevant?

The modification table was starting to look more and more like a GURPS book in my head, or a fanfic writer's attempt at emulating Mage. It's not helped by how schizophrenic even the rank-and-file Sacred Gears are in terms of abilities and scope. So I opted for a list of canons with the possibility of later OC options.
Already have. Humans get +300 CP for Gears/Holy Swords to represent the fact they're usually born with Sacred Gears in the first place. This also means they can be Reincarnated Devils or Angels and keep the benefits of both races, though this restricts your choice of Factions.

Knew I forgot something involving that. I'll have a v0.2 here in a bit.

God, I wish. I hate myself, knowing that I'm just a momentary shell designed to give some background to a better being's adventure would be delightful.

Same person made another thread before this one that was missing the "J", quickly deleted it, made one with the right name. We were poking fun.

I believe the Magic Circuits option in the Jump mentions Rin's loadout, 20 High Quality Magic Circuits iirc?

>I believe the Magic Circuits option in the Jump mentions Rin's loadout, 20 High Quality Magic Circuits iirc?
So it does. But that still doesn't give me context. I was more looking for example feats of her spellcasting. What can you do with twenty magic circuits?

2. Project Redemption Evil Village In Vally Eden, or "Project REVIVE" (I needed an acronym for my project somehow, please don't hurt me, I know it's not that good)

Basically, I am going to take the souls of the villains I took and put in the gems and made them sleep forever and then upload them into a virtual simulation of a nice village in a place, probably a tropical island like in SDR2 or a nice calm peaceful forest village using the World Seed from SAO. There, they are going to cooperate with each other to live in the village, until they can behave and calm down. I'm gonna have a few AI buddies infiltrate them and be a part of them, making sure they don't act out or kill anyone.

Now, preventing them from trying to break out, I've got to figure that out.

20 is average for a mage, so you can do everything an average mage can.

Rin has 100, I think?

Okay, what can an average mage do in Fate?

She has 40 main circuits and 30 sub-circuits I'm pretty they don't say what difference that makes with like 30 extra from her Magic Crest.

As for what that actually gets you...

reddit.com/r/respectthreads/comments/2iydmp/respect_rin_tohsaka_fatestay_night/

Forgive me for >reddit but it's the best I can do for you.

Ben-To v0.2 PDF. Hope the general bolding helps.

Hundred circuits actually.

youtube.com/watch?v=E5sqNVgGldE

Rin doesn't do much but here's one of her favourite spammable spells, Gandr, in action. For the most part she charges jewels with magic so it's hard to get a read on what she can do on her own with the rest of her fights.

>...you have read that beast right?
>If it's a duck, then call it a duck.
Everything is relative.

Rin can fire curses that hit like bullets. Besides that, she can reinforce herself to massively superhuman levels, enough to tangle with low-tier Servants. Unfortunately, she specializes in a magic system that requires external foci and reagents, so examples of her own capabilties are limited.

Good because I hate living in this world forever and I'm useless anyways, so being a shell for a jumper is something I can look forward to.

But that's not how it works in my chain, so.

No, it's fine, I was looking for her on r/respectthreads myself, couldn't find her. Thank you.

These are also very helpful, thank you anons as well.

It won't be me that drowns.

They should have checked the wording of that drawback more carefully.

>reverse!Jumper-you just starts turning everyone you knew into flesh abominations
>He only does this because he can't kill anyone in this jump and tes his memories specifically

>Being so dense that you would resist getting assimilated
Is that you, Timmy?

>Jumper is actually a good person that helps others instead of devouring them

I can live with that

91. Franken Fran
Location: Madaraki Mansion
Age: 21, Origin: Doctor
Perks: Commencing Operation (Cosmetics, Transplant, Trauma, Disease, Mental), Make Me A Better Man, Meatgrinder Medicine, I Can Still Save Him, Biology As A Guideline
Items: The Spare Room, Surgical Tools
Drawbacks: Jumpers Gone Wild

I came here because I was the man who had to clean up every time some weird bullshit comes rolling off this mountain and into town. The amount of these things that clearly used to be human and needed to be put down warranted some investigation. I had heard of the Madarakis and their "miracles", but all I ever saw from them were well-made disasters. Fran invited me into her house just before I awoke as a jumper, and I nearly ran out of the place immediately.

I probably should've with all the bullshit they put me through and Fran's weird inability to grasp actual empathy. Quality of life was never a consideration for her so much as her own interest in doing weird shit. It took all of a few months of me for me to grow bored of the whole monster-making cycle she was on and go back to my old job fixing her mistakes. I have to actively work on recreating and modifying nanite swarms to do it, take advantage of mind-upload/separation using tech from Generic Virtual World, and at the end of the day I still feel like a child competing in a triathalon against a professional. In the end, I have better tools from my time jumping, so it gets done, but to go back to the triathalon analogy it's like having a motorcycle you have to abandon for the swimming portion.

My companions also tracked down every copy of that porno my origin was in, but a couple of my companions put it up for sale in the Archipelago. So, now I have to live with that forever. Why do I trust these people?

If that were the case, then good. However, knowing my luck I'll be the main personality and have to deal with being a jumper from partway through a chain.

Better lunch than a bologna sandwich at least.

I wish.

user who's working on Spore here.

If it's not too much trouble, could you all please post your sort of 'wishlists' for Spore? I'm trying to plan out the overall structure of everything right now, so it would be most helpful to know:

>The specific gameplay components that you want to be rendered as perks/other options (part gathering, complexity, consequence traits, etc).
>Anything related to meta-customization- that is, if there's anything you'd like to have as an import option, etc.

And also anything else you were thinking about that I might've missed. Those are the big two, though.

Something for guiding species down the same evolutionary line as in the game. So raising something from a cellular level to being capable of forming civilisations, or at least getting that ball rolling.

I'd like an option to have all the creatures on your planet look like they could have come from the same biosphere. You know what I mean, right? How in the game they'd be randomly selected from the database, so nothing looked like it evolved on the same planet. No common features, just a thousand acts of whimsical creation. I'd like to be able to avoid that, optionally. Let people who want that have it, let people who want to play this more as a speculative evolution simulator do their thing.

Staff of life either costing a fuckton or as some kind of special reward for a scenario or big drawback. Terraforming stuff in general. Overall the entire space age is what excites me.

I'd like the option to have your species show up in other jumps, like how the Civilization jump does it. Not a huge thing, just there as a background detail that you can seek out if you want to.

I assume that the jump will take longer than 10 years to complete, right?

Do you specifically want it as a perk, or would something like the Monolith uplifter from Space Stage work for you? I'm sure I could find a way to fit an upgraded version of what the Monolith does in as a perk if need be.

That's actually the default in the plan. It's more or less based more on what Spore was promised to be by Maxis instead of what we ended up getting. Been spending a lot of time going over the cut features page recently.

Sure thing, user.

Perhaps something where they don't appear unless you specifically seek them out? So if you went looking for them, you'd happen upon an island or whatever appropriate environment where a small sample of your original biosphere is living?

>Perhaps something where they don't appear unless you specifically seek them out? So if you went looking for them, you'd happen upon an island or whatever appropriate environment where a small sample of your original biosphere is living?
Yeah, that's along the lines of what I was thinking. Though them being off on another planet rather than an island. Just a single isolated colony that no one in canon has interacted with, that you can go to if you really want.

Ok done some changes and it's still a WIP but here is my Tron System Jump.
Feel free to add suggestions or comments

docs.google.com/document/d/1rg_ebCDDrdFhHW-y5PtYWRCJMXrF3i1fSl9Mmm8FTn0/edit?usp=sharing

>That's actually the default in the plan. It's more or less based more on what Spore was promised to be by Maxis instead of what we ended up getting.
That's awesome, then. Rock on, Spore user.

Something like the Monolith uplifter should be fine, though a perk would be great.

Yeah. My current idea for it is... a bit weird. Have you ever played Dungeon Keeper? I'm thinking of having it work like possession in that. The current thought is to have it play something like regular Spore by default, with you existing as a sort of managing presence/spirit/thing I haven't figured out yet. Individual creatures of your species will do whatever, and you'll have the option to more or less quickly speed up along the timeline.

Once you're at the Creature Stage, however, you'll have the option to take control (maybe choosing to incarnate for a creature's lifetime?) of a individual to interact with the jump like normal. That way, people can have the full experience without having several million years of NOTHING happen.

Bashing my head against a major update to my jump. Slow going, but I'm getting there. Here's a WIP of the changes.

Hey Val, does time traveling with the Second Magic have the same consequences as the Fifth?

>It's more or less based more on what Spore was promised to be by Maxis instead of what we ended up getting.
How about adding a +100-200 drawback that makes it into how the game was?

Is it wrong that I kind of want to extend the Creature Stage as long as possible? I love SpecEvo stuff, I want to play around guiding evolution for millions of years.

Oh, that actually gives me an idea for something that could be cool: One of my favorite SpecEvo projects is Serina, a series about a world that was seeded with a very limited selection of Earth life and left to speciate and evolve into all sorts of weird things to fill the emptiness. The name comes from the taxonomic name of the common canary, which is the only terrestrial vertebrate included in the terraforming package. Could we have something like that? An option to skip the Cell Stage and start the Creature Stage with an ecosystem based on a set of imported mundane plants and animals of our choosing. Then we could play around evolving them into exotic life forms that bear only a dim resemblance to their ancestors.

Change list?

Bottom of the doc.

Ah, see- that's actually what the Cell Stage /is/. What is there to put in the Cell Stage, reasonably speaking? It's going to serve as an introduction to the jump mechanics, and also helping you build the world you start out in at the Creature Stage.

You build the planet - you can have it farther or closer to the sun, even change the type of star you're orbiting and also choose the foundations of your ecosystem. You can get points for lowering the T-score of the planet, which limits the amount of options you can choose to customize the ecosystem in addition to making life generally harder on the planet.

And if you want to slow down the management time acceleration to 0, you can. Creature Stage doesn't end until you say so, just like in the games.

>drawback that makes it into how the game was
Dear god, user. I'm not cruel. We'll see.

>all these awesome ecosystem customization options
Fuck yes, Spore user, you are the BEST. Oh, this is going to be a fun jump.

Aquatic section to represent the options and gameplay cut from the watered-down release version.

Will we meet Sora here?

>Our own ship for Space Stage.
>The Gravity Wave superweapon.
>Cell alt.form.
>The ability to have the civilization and space stages play out in real time.
>Flora and fauna import?
>Mineral/resource import?

Gimme all the spice colors (mint especially) plus terraforming tech plus a perk that involves singing and dancing when befriending people (from the beast/tribe stages for social playthroughs) and I'll be a happy moth :3

The terraforming stuff, including drawing with them and leaving shapes all over the place. Also that thing you get for getting the center but with a recharge mechanic.

>Flora and fauna import?
>Mineral/resource import?
Both are gonna be in the creature stage import section since that's when you actually see them.

>Cell alt form
...Um. I guess that could be a thing?

>Real time
See >Gravity Wave superweapon
All superweapons are gonna be in there, don't worry.

My thought was to allow it by basically not disallowing it. The options I'm gonna offer are going to be all neutral in terms of land/water, so if you want to stay in the water... then you can just choose to, and it'll change nothing.

Unless people want specific advantages/disadvantages to being in water?

>singing and dancing when befriending people
Perhaps with spontaneous confetti at random, even.

The Staff of Life? Would people prefer it to be a reward for reaching the core in jump, or would it be better to purchase it?

>Staff of Life
I think the canon version should just be there as usual, you don't need to say anything about it, but a purchasable one for those who want a recharging one, or one that they don't need to fight the Gek to reach could be cool.

On the perk front, things to do the sort of things you can in the game could be cool, for instance a cheap perk could let you set large trends in fashion, not necessarily specific pieces of clothing like in the game, but saying 'it's cool to wear leaves' or scarves or that sort of broad spectrum fashion influence.

I second with all the spice, and perhaps selling a spice geyser, or the ability to find them in other settings could be cool too.

Something involving the giants wouldn't go astray. They were always one of my favorite parts of the game and I was sad they were so irrelevant.

Your ideas sound really cool. I look forward to seeing the end result!

Sorry about not answering user, I was sleeping.

Here's the current version of the EVE Online jump. I was thinking about replacing/complementing the item section with a ship and gear table.
And yes, a Titan for 1000 CP is already tentatively planned.

And here's the actual PDF because Captcha is being a dick.

as a jumpmaker PDF related.
i've gotten started on drawbacks, once I get a couple more of those. I just have to convert the ideas into actual descriptions

as the jumper
recent projects include

1.A miniaturized ACU so that I can build on smaller scales

2.A speaker that can match the hellstar guitar in volume. So that it doesn't drown out my singing

3.seeing what the Mutualist Omnium can churn out .

4. Adapting the eight trigrams hexagon staff tyle for use with Dual wielding

5.expanding my Golden Apple of immortality. Orchard into the black Arcology i.e. My disgaia netherworld so that My rapidly expanding population can Enjoy the benefits of Magical maximized life extension.

6

Oh goody I have quite a lust for space operas and have already bent infinity and mass effect over my knee ala the emperor.

also, maybe make the titan or indeed any and all ships cheaper but come with nothing on it, or offer various packages with different loadouts from nothing to fully loaded

oh also, all ships are not made equal. The missile titan is generally considered the weakest and the charon has the biggest cargo hold out of all its contemporaries to name two examples.

don't worry so much about the items list being bloated, It's EVE bloated is the name of the game.

Hmm, that's not a bad idea, making all ships come empty and offer equipment packages.

I'm mostly going to offer tiers of ships with a slight surcharge if you take a ship that isn't from your faction.

Also for the items, it's more the fact that I'm having trouble imagining much stuff that couldn't be stuffed inside a ship/equipment table.

Now that I thing about it, making a general item table with no discounts and making a ship customization table with discounts depending on factions/background is how I'm most likely going to do it.

then go with the table, tables are neat and orderly and don't make my brain cry.

Yeah, at least I'm going to try.

I would personally hugely appreciate a cheaper unloaded option for titans. I don't need the weapons, weapons and the ability to produce weapons is something I have in spades. I cannot however establish a shipyard. and then theres the whole thing of 'would a non purchased ship even accompany through jumps' and it just feels more honest to say no. I can field millions of hands and plenty of materials to outfit a basic chassis, and the bigger the better.

It's about time I got a middle ground between the shard and the light of terra anyway.

Since we are talking space ships what is so amazing about the sajuuk from homeworld that it is priced so high?

Pic unrelated. Mostly.

The unloaded, stripped-bare-of-anything version is going to be the default state (even for Titans though they will have a slight surcharge for their equipment like the Doomsday weapon), with equipment packages being able to be bought for certain amounts of CP.
Also only purchased ships will accompany you through jumps, though they will still keep their loadout, modifications and interior equipment (so if you manage to reasonably stuff a non-CP-purchased ship inside a CP-purchased ship, it will still come with you).

you mean the plans for the city-sized ship massively more advanced than anything else in the setting that comes with a free ship and unlocks the secrets of forerunner technology? Yeah, it's fairly priced.

can't wait

Bancho of all people you should not be sarcastic, I am seriously asking about what makes it so impressive. I dont know the setting and I dont know what this sajuuk can do, and the fact that you are buying plans and not a ship is something that frankly I see as more labor intensive than the other options and I dont know what it has or can do hence why I am asking.

>Bancho of all people you should not be sarcastic, I am seriously asking about what makes it so impressive. A.i thought you were being sarcastic since it says so right in the description

B.I wasn't trying to be sarcastic. The Internet does not carry tone here are the reasons

1.plans for Forerunner technology power cores that are not normally able to be reproduced in the setting

2. if I'm reading it right It comes with a dreadnought class to help you build it

3.forerunner weaponry plans which again cannot be reproduced in setting

4.seriously, it unlocksan entirely new tech tree better than anything else in the setting get a LoT ACU before hand and curb stomp everyone

Looking good.

I would say though, that with including the mythic artefacts, that adding a basic un-armoured exoskeleton you can throw over a suit might be warranted - and it gives something for the tech-perk guy to trick out.

Some of the non-augmenting artefacts could be neat - like an Empty (or even... a Full Empty).
