I transferred some ETH from GDAX to Binance earlier and it was fucking weird. I hadn't looked into how the transaction fees work, but apparently I set a maximum and if my transaction doesnt get processed before that, I just lose spent transaction fee and the transaction doesnt go through? Who the fuck thought that was a good idea? Why would I ever transfer if there was a risk of losing my transaction fee and nothing going through?

At least with BTC I dont lose the satoshi/b until the transaction gets processed.
