CHA is always a dump stat for Wizards. Are there no attractive wizards?

CHA is always a dump stat for Wizards. Are there no attractive wizards?

What games have you been playing? I've always seen Str be their dump stat.

Just because you've got low charisma doesn't mean that you're ugly, user.

In my opinion, it mostly means your people skills are lacking. You have trouble being picked out in a room because you can't get people to notice you.

When I DM, my players are fully welcome to describe their characters as looking like whatever they want.

STRENGTH WIZARD

They spend thirty years alone in the library figuring out how to hack the universe, jealous of the sorcerer Chads who don't even have to try.

I had one as a pc once. She married the ranger PC and had twins.

You don't need CHA when you have Charm spells.

CHA is not a requirement for attractiveness. Attractiveness doesn't automatically give you great social skills.

Best description of the difference between a Sorceror and a Wizard I have ever heard.

>Attractiveness doesn't automatically give you great social skills.
No, putting ranks into Diplomacy and Bluff does.

Char is for how well you deal with people, not for how attarctive you are
You can be a total stud of a wizard but still be an autist if you don't have high char
Also, why char and not strength?

Which use CHA as modifier.

Cha isn't about what you look like ya weeb. It's about your force of personality on people, animals and the world around you.

>Sorcerer Chads are so handsome, the universe bends over backwards to favor them

It's realistic. I have never seen any attractive scientists.

Yes, they just tend to be shy qt3.14s.

Why not both? Throw in WIS to.

14 CON and everything else into INT. There's a spell for everything, and appraise is an INT skill, so hirelings are cheap.

THIS sexy son of a bitch was banging broads between bopping bongos and basically you are fucking stupid

All wizards that care about being attractive are attractive as soon as they learn illusion spells. They get more attractive when they learn how to make wondrous +30 CHA rings.

BRB rolling a Sorceror with 6 INT and the Rich Parents and Bully background traits.

Hahahaha

>Are there no attractive wizards?
Do you consider low CHA high CON wizard attractive or butterface?

They probably look like Zyzz

why doesnt everyone just dump into luck all the time?
>just find spells
>just find women for yourself
>just pray to the correct gods.
nothing can go wrong; everything will go correctly.
t. fairy sourcerer

Source, please.

Wisdom is not his wizard dump stats. What is wrong with you?

>[if you dump everything into luck] nothing can go wrong

What does a Wizard need wisdom for?

High will saves? Got them.
Prereq for feats? Name one.
Skill bonus? Spells are better in most cases and high INT means more skill points anyway.

Considering three party members keep hitting on me, I don't think so

charisma shouldnt be physical appearance REEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Or at least it shouldn't be purely physical appearance.
Good way IMO would be to have your general Charisma be subdivided into Looks and Talks
High Looks, low Talks would mean that you are pretty hot as long as you don't speak.
High Talks, low Looks would make you not that pretty but give you good confidence and a way to manipulate people
Dunno how to use the categories, though.

Autistic Wizard.(20 point buy)

STR 7
DEX 8
CON 18
INT 20 (18 buy +2 Human)
WIS 7
CHA 7

At level 1 that is the best possible wizard.

>CHA
>Attractive
Here we go again...

Tsugumomo
As we get further in, it seems more and more like the author is just seeing how close to porn he can make it before he gets partyv&.

Necromancers use Cha for many spells and dominationg undead, especially if they wanna become liches or something.

Become the charismatic necromancer you always wanted to be!

> always
That's some dangerous wording you've got there, 3.pfag
Back in OSR, charisma is the GOAT stat
Not that you can even "dump" anything, 3d6 *in order*

Like many mangaka he started out with porn
Japan doesn't put 2D in the partyvan

They do usually censor their porn and not print it in the larger publications though.

3d6 in order is what we refer to as a "dump game"

>dragons almost literally get to have it all
>only thing they usually end up having dumped, is dex

IT'S NOT FAIR

The fundamental issue is how much value you've put on attributes.
The difference between 5 strength and 16 strength is a 5% to-hit chance, 1 extra damage on hit, and 20% chance to force open stuck doors.
The difference between 5 intelligence and 16 intelligence is 4 extra language and some MU spells known limits (but you need at least 9 INT to be an MU, so those don't matter to the 5 INT char).

What I'm getting at here, is that 3d6 in order is very palatable when attributes are more a role guide than a roll guide.

spell in final panel is Bigby's Dropping Elbow btw

Fair enough, it does matter less in older systems.

4e illusion wizards are Charisma secondary.

5e enchantment wizards are Charisma secondary.

Pathfinder wizards drop Charisma into the dumpster because there are soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo many ways to replace Charisma for social skills in Pathfinder.

Comeliness. Average of Constitution and Charisma plus or minus 1d3

Not at low levels.

Forever mirin. Based muscle wizard.

CON turned out to be his dump stat in the end.

That's why he had all those flu jabs... poor zyzz.

I only dump charisma when I play warriors. I try to have at least a 12 in charisma when I'm a caster because what else are you going to do once Int and Con are sufficient?

>dumping CHA as a warrior

You're doing it wrong

3.5/PF. The standard Wizard stat pecking order is Int>Dex>Con>Wis>Str>Cha

YES. GREENTEXT YOUR EXPERIENCE.

>CHA
>attractive
