I have only one game where I incorporate brutalist architecture a lot, Berlin XVIII. It suits perfectly this noir, low-tech/low-life, sci-fi game set in a polluted megalopolis full of vice and crime.

I love the style of Tadao Ando. It's a subtle mix between traditional brutalism and zen that looks really good and modern - lighter and brighter than brutalism, but still keeps a lot of raw reinforced concrete.

It's the national architectural style of the duergars.

Theres a school near me called Umass Dartmouth. It has loads of brutalism in just about all the major buildings. First time i went there i thought it was a dystopian prison.

I have studied in places like this my entire life. They were fairly prestigious, too.

They claimed to design buildings for the common man, but ignored the fact that the common man loves decorations and embellishments. Who lives in huge grey boxes?
