What's wrong with this one? Seems like it'd be a pretty useful magic item to have when travelling in a hostile territory. Although without a corresponding disquise the use would be somewhat limited (appearing to have the banner of the enemy forces doesn't help much if you aren't also wearing their uniform, and if you disquise as their soldiers then you'd stand when observed by another group who'd see a different banner).

Fun game. Go through the hyper badass super kewl monsters/demigods/whatever and count how many you can kill with low level spells. Quite a lot of them are a Ray of Stupidity or Shivering touch away from getting geeked in a round.
