I don't know because I don't have a group, but that looks more like a Viper from Xcom

>furfags

...

Ever play echidna wars dx? Like those lamias.
They also eat people in the same way.

Spell merchants and mind-altering drug peddlers. Their skin can be used to delve into prophecy and divination spells so spellcasters sometimes hunt them. They take fledgling renegade spellcasters under their wing in the hopes of toppling the current regime of evil magi.

Snaketits are canon, you know

In what fashion?

Cold blooded slavers and religious fanatics who want to kill all other non snakes species

And I'd flip the Pureblood and Abomination names around because they never really made sense with what's been said about them

It makes more sense that the more human yuan-ti would be called an Abomination

Not pronographic.

These guys. And they eat people. And they reanimate corpses by hollowing them out and filling them with snakes.

Snayyykes are a best.

Decadent scholars of the abyss (the dark souls kind, not the D&D kind) lurking in the hidden places of the world, infiltrating society and turning them towards Dark. They legitimately think it's for the best for other races to become snake people hybrids under the control of the coils of the Elders, and don't really give a shit about the civil wars, social upheaval, and abyssal corruption that comes along with it

>tfw made a full on gfur setting
>tfw it triggers so much autism on both antifurfags and monstertards

It has male herms :^)

I LOVE IT!

How much for a castle full of them?

They are horrifying monsters with nothing human about them.
No, you can't fuck them, you disgusting deviant.

Can you turn into a snake? It's very important that you have the ability to turn into a snake.

Irrelevant, I won't be in the castle.

How good are they with acme decorations, they can walk around them and on tight slopes right?

Remnants of a long dead empire who will do anything to rise to power again, even if they have to kidnap, forcefully convert, and sacrifice everything that they come across.

They use a combination of mind control and alchemical curses to convert and turn humans into Yuan-ti Purebloods, then over time they gradually turn into snake-bodied serpents. Every other race is sacrificed to their various gods in exchange for power.

My players recently ran across a group of them while they were heading back to base after a field trip. They successfully managed to invade their temple, trash the place, rescue the captives crew and a few other initiates that hadn't completely turned yet.

Of course, this was the youngest and the least successful of the Yuan-ti cults, so I wonder how they'll handle seeing some pop up closer to home.

Were recently in a genocidal war aggainst the catfolk because of a green dragon's scheme to "make the sun & moon do battle" the party got fucked over due to a series of bad diplomacy rolls and were not able to prevent the Yuan-ti from going to war. Many poor little kitties and sneks died until the party got around to toaking down the dragon who was behind it.

Yuan-ti live in the "not south american rainforest" and had recently been sending colonists over to "not-africa deserts" on the other side of an ocean. Yuan-ti ti have this sweet aztec/mayan inspiration for all their stuff. Their cities are centred around pyramid temples that they use as magic solar collectors and they concentrate the collected sunlight into "amber" which they use to keep themselves warm if the sun doesn't show, to give light their candles & power a great deal of their magi-tech.

At the base of their temples will ideally be a zigzag of tiny rivers for use as a public bathing area. ((sneks love their baths))

And I'd probably put them at war with the lizardmen

With their jungles or swamps being deadly places no one in their right mind would want to go but filled with magic items and gold

You know basic adventurer bait

Drow without the chronic backstabbing disorder

I dont even care what you are talking about OP but you posted Snektits so I´m sold.

Heavily influenced by the serpent-men from Conan and Lovecraft. Extremely old race that used to rule the world in distant past. Their great empire has long since fallen and most people only know them as jungle- and swamp-dwelling savages. However, some of them still have a complex civilization, hidden in the deepest jungles of a mostly unexplored southern continent. Their natural form are humanoid snakes (pic related but without legs), but like standard yan-ti (and serpent-men) they also have humanoid forms they use to infiltrate and manipulate other races.

Wouldn't they be tainted one?

Forgot to say turning other races to tainted ones

Wouldnt she be an Abomination by Yuan Ti Standards and thus be rather low-ranked?

Yes to the first, no to the second. Abominations are the highest ranked.

Please tell us more about it.
When were you in a position to "trigger" people besides your players?

I really wanted XCOM2 to play with the morality of being a guerilla force, and offer up more radical options and tactics. Stuff like:
>Recovering Alien breeding pods, which gives you access to Xcom: EU Sectoid's, and later Chryssalids
>Using terror tactics against the cities and executing captured alien sympathisers
>Throwing massive waves of troopers into battle, hoping to break the enemy under sheer numbers
>Genetically modifying or adding on extensive cyber modifications to enhance your soldiers, with dark implications

It was a good game, but not as dark as I was hoping. Plus, the Enviroments felt really samey, and dumb after a while, and I hated all the bullshit that involved TEH COMMANDERP.

It could have some sort of Morale level, where if you use too many Dark options, or loose too many fights, you start getting penalties to certain missions. It could also have some different endings, depending on what shit you do, and how much you use the Alien tech.

If these were traditional Yuan-ti, then yes, but really they're actually a contingency plan genetically engineered by the last great empire that collapsed. These Yuan-ti's history and gods are all just made up, and they've been programmed to believe everything with such zeal and fervor that not a single one even thinks of looking deeper into it. I would say more, but I know my players read this board, so I don't wanna give too much away.

Well they are kind of, user

Their not matriarchal as far as I know

Their all about scheming but only against other races and not each other

But both races believe other races are only good for sacrifice or slaves or in the case of the yuan-ti turning others into tainted ones and being used as slaves or to infiltrate places they can't get into

But yeah pretty close for the most part

Sounds cool user

...

So is she a princess or something?

You can fuck anything with enough imagination and determination.

Ye of little faith.
this user is right

More like someone holy user

Like a high ranking cleric

The most holy of the Yuan-ti are the Anathema and they are basically Divine to Yuan-ti

She wants nothing more then for you to die user or if your useful, a mind controlled slave to do her will til all use is gone and then she would kill you

You would disgust her on every level

>Abominations are the highest ranked
Huh? Are you sure? I thought Purebloods were the highest Rank? I remember something about the less you look like either Snake or Human the better..?

An sapient people from a distant land. There have only been 2 in my game ever. One was a spy used by a Dragon kingdom. The other is the world's greatest chef. He's a recurring NPC that I rather enjoy.

His kitchen is in a long out building that looks sort of like a stable. There are several stoves and speciality ovens lining either side and through the center of the long, narrow building there's a table that acts as the prep surface. Vascule, the chef, cooks from up in the rafters. Using his tail, he swings from cross beam to cross beam down the room and then hangs from them, head and arms down and holding on with the tail, using this to move quickly from prep station to prep station and oversee every aspect of the giant feasts he and his crew prepare.

He also hosts small, private dinners for the elites of the city using exceedingly rare or even illegal ingredients. Our party helped him out of a jam once and now have a standing invite to his dinners and have used them in their political machinations. He's like Artie Bucco to the Soprano family.

Evil, selfish, sexy seducers. That goes for both males and females.
Abominations are the highest under most circumstances. Anathemas are even higher, but very rare.

The less human you look, the better.

>snek in the imperial guard

Nope!

The more snake the better user

Purebloods are only about Tainted Ones and Brood Guards in the hierarchy of Yuan-ti

They serve as diplomats and infiltrators by pretending to be human and starting shit

Above not about damn it

I like that in the reflection of his visor it seems like the people around him are smiling.

Don't sweat it bro, these are abhumans not mutants.

No

Their xeno at best

That's not really how it works but ok.

>playing a NE paladin of falazure
>run across a snake temple
>too many to fight them all
>plan is to kill the abominations and hope that scares off the rest
>get """captured""", brought before the leaders
>hot abomination like the one in the OP is their highest-ranked one
>start hitting on her
>DM has me roll persuasion to see if she's perceptive
>mfw d20+9+d10 (from the bard)
>mfw final score is 31

Heresey. That is all they are. Fire, Bolter, Chainsword and a good purging, that is all they need.

...

Well go on user, how did it turn out?

>high priestess invites me to her quarters
>fade to black
>come back out in an hour with the priestess announcing that the rest of the party is being released, and that she's leaving the temple as my consort
>spend the rest of the campaign with my snek waifu

You'd think the rest of the church might be a little upset about you running off with the high priestess.

I'm a paladin of Falazure and she's a cleric of Sseth. Our two gods are reasonably friendly towards each other.

Who's Falazure? I feel like I've heard the name before...

I just read the Tale of Solaron (suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive.html?tags=Solaron), it's pretty cool. I like the naive and accidentally seductive snek.

>male herms
How does that even work? Aren't herms by definition both? It's like saying "this is a tiger liger, and this is a lion liger."

>hollowing them out and filling them with snakes
Now I'm picturing a bunch of snakes doing that "three kids in a trenchcoat" thing. "No, we- I ssswear! I am of courssse a very normal human perssson! Pleassse let usss- me into the sssity!"

Lion/tiger (liger) and tiger/lion (tigon) hybrids are actually different from each other. The difference is which animal is the father and which the mother (but I can't remember which is which). They do look different from each other, and due to the way the genes regulating the growth of the animal match up, one (liger, IIRC) grow fucking huge while the other is usually smaller than the average lion or tiger.

Solaron is a classic. Wasn't there one about a lesbian yuan ti librarian?

>What are yuan-ti like in your game?
non-existant

I know, that's why I specified "liger" for both of them.

The one's we've met so far have been rather secretive, using disguises and illusion magic to hide their appearance, communicating mostly through dead drops in sewers. They're apparently more common in the jungles to the south, and share that territory with the Serpent Men, who are a distinct and far older race. It's unclear if the two races cooperate, but it's more than likely considering both are known to venerate the Great Old One Yig. Their exact origins are still unclear, whether it's due to the rituals described in the core rules, humans interbreeding with the serpent men, or a more direct intervention by Yig remains to be seen. In the case of my character, it's most likely the last one.

Why

Falazure is a Undead Dragon all about Dragons choosing unlife and Sseth is all about reptiles and poison as far as I can see

Both NE gods of reptilian races. In my campaign, Sseth's clergy has been moving into undeath lately (as they're perfectly loyal minions).

>lesbian yuan ti librarian
I don't think that was in Solaron, and despite having this perfect image, I can't find any mention of a librarian snek in suptg. Though I did find Frazzles the shadowrun snake quest. I'd forgotten about it; it was quite fun!

Isn't Sseth CE normally?

He was in 3.5 when yuan-ti were CE too. I can't find any information on his alignment in 5e, and the DM seemed to imply that we were in alignment-harmony.

Is this the """stealth""" snake girl thread?

Not really

Mostly we've said their kill or enslave you

...

A stand in for Howard's Serpent Men of Lemuria, like they were originally designed to be.

>Lamia are considered waifubait monstergirl bullshit
>Yuan-ti are perfectly fine
What?

Somewhat, but please try to continue discussing sneks in settings rather than just posting snek pictures.

Speaking of Paris and the Eiffel Tower, what sort of monuments if any would yuan-ti make? I'd imagine there'd be the usual statues of gods, but aside from that?

That is almost certainly cropped porn.

Probably because Yuan-ti are so OBVIOUSLY DISGUSTING that nobody would want to fap to them. Meanwhile, Lamias are usually depicted as beautiful women with nasty snake tails, while the human upper body remains.

>mfw I know where this crop came from.

Giant Gold Snakes?

Aztec pyramids?

>monstergirl
There's your problem

So how sexual are yuan-ti? Some lore suggests they mate only for reproduction, other that they are hedonists who keep harems to sate their appetite.

That's speciescist. Check your bipedal privilege!

user this may shock you

But based on this art I think you might be wrong

Because monstergirls are generally designed specifically to be waifubait. Lamia *can* be non-waifubait bullshit (e.g. the Serthis in Flight Rising), but most characters tend to be used for fetish stuff.
Yuan-ti and similar creatures are nonhuman enough to be taken as monsters by nearly anyone but furries. It's like asking why slimegirls are considered degenerate waifubait when gelatinous cubes are perfectly valid monsters.

>Az-snek pyramids

I tend to think they reproduce like garter snakes, in a big tangle of snakes all trying to fertilize the female, which would put their mating probably at "for reproduction only, and semi-scheduled, but very intense and engaging while it's going on."

Goddamn I love that art

Like most beast races of the setting, they were bio-arcane engineered by a progenitor civilization from before the reckoning of history. Most of them were built for labor or war; centaurs, huldr (a bovine race)/minotaurs, a race based on charr, etc. Yuan-ti were built for other things. They were cunning, powerful calculators, and capable of much work unbefitting their rulers including more technical roles or tasks their unique physiology is well suited for. There was another reason for their creation: They were the first successful hybrid of humanoid and reptilian creature. Of course, the ancient civilization's collapse soon followed, and this has been lost to the sands of time.

Speaking of sands, most yuan-ti are desert dwellers. Besides pueblos and other oasis-based surface towns, they have sprawling underground complexes build by blasting lightning through the sand and hollowing out the glass. These are furnished with massive crystalline towers at the burrows' entrances, which mark their position. Furthermore, these magic crystals can refract light and heat to other shards of the same original formation- meaning smaller bits of them within the underground complex radiate daylight and heat. Their magic is largely rune and psionic based, and many study the ruins and lost artefacts in the desert that tell of what was surely their great empire in the past and what secrets they could still glean from it.

Honestly I'd just flip a coin for it

Unless it's supposed to be "That Kind" of game

Listen, if you're going to look human, be fully human.
If you're going to have animal bits, go full furbait.
Nip monstergirls are just an inferior mixing of the two to appeal to plebs.

The Japanese deserved a 3rd nuke.

That describes most women's view of me, and I still get laid.

Do share.

The Emperor, blessed be the Throne, looks unkindly on the murder of his sanctioned subjects, user.

Pretty much this. Monstergirl fans are furfags in denial, which is even worse, because they still act like furfags, but then pretend that they don't.
Hell, they're probably more likely to fuck an actual animal than a furfag.

>What are yuan-ti like in your game?

They are largely a lore-gathering race who cherish academic study and privacy over most other things. The are artistic and praised for their masonry and glass works.

The do have a military arm but due to a lack of metal resources they get creative and basically use marble edged sticks.

Yeah like, a furry is just like a hot girl with like a cartoon horse face that you can bone, while a monster girl is half of a normal hot girl with an actual horse's body attached.
Like, the actual thing.

>equines

It was a piece of art that Fracshun commissioned from DJpuppeh

snek

Chakats are an attractive and well-designed race :^)
IMO the physical design isn't *terrible;* the issue is mostly that their backstory is insufferably perfect. I like reading about how non-humanoid races structure their buildings etc (e.g. sneks might use friction-y pillars rather than stairs, a slime-like race's doors would look different due to a lack of need to be vertically-oriented, etc), but chakats seemed to be "well they can just do everything human-like because I put about two seconds of thought into my worldbuilding."

>macro characters casually using buildings and/or non-macros as toys
Learned something new about myself today.

snek

>mfw this faggotry
