So these are organized in a folder called the Shattered Lands of the Raven, which are in a folder for the continent they are on, and a folder for the setting world they are in.
If I ever get more than 40 pic sin a folder I try to make sub folders again, like towns/people/monsters etc

I have several folders that split into subfolders that split into further subfolders. They're organised based on the way I design characters that is, start with race, then profession, then feel of the character.
I organise EVERYTHING. Otherwise I'd never find shit.
I think I'm on around 8000 pictures now?
I use it for my games obviously. Sometimes it gives me inspiration to make things, but I also have a Trello board for my games where I keep bios for NPCs and places the players have visited and my group uses it as a reference resource.
Very little. I only save what I can use in my games, and real life art tends to break the visual style.
