I'm curious as to why that is, honestly. Do you have some kind of goal in mind with this or are you just rolling with the idea just because? I missed the previous thread, so perhaps you answered it there, but it seems like an oddly specific restriction in terms of getting players. So I wouldn't really see the point unless you were trying to test something too.

Basic idea is Eldritch gods arrived for whatever reason, fuck the world up, and Eldritch Behemoths start to appear that Fuck with physics and warping the land around them. Thing is, the land becomes tainted with magic, which humanity then uses to perform magic. The idea is that the Behemoths walk through a huge territory, destroy civilization, then neighboring civilizations war over control of the ruined remains, which are now a valued magical resource.

Hmm... honestly, because it seemed like a bad idea at the time, one that I could actually pull off. If I succeed, I'm running a great campaign and have a good story to tell. If I fail, it's a great big shitshow that makes for a good story to tell.

That's as good of a reason as any. Hope to hear the results either way.

I've talked with the mods about this on IRC. The answer is a firm NO. Their logic behind it is that if they were to allow an "official" Smut thread, it would compromise the integrity of what a Blue Board means. Instead they more employ a policy of "Don't ask, Don't Tell, and here's the hours when we're not patrolling the board."

As long as they can ban us for it if it becomes a problem, they won't directly do anything against it. They have to respond to reported rule violations though.
